This place has everything. Starting with building supplies. Both new and recycled. Roof shingles, flooring, siding, trim wood, toilets (and urinals), bath tubs, appliances, doors, windows and so much more. Changes up on a weekly basis. Going here can save you some money. Lots of commercial kitchen equipment. Don't forget to look out side. You will be surprised what you find.
Verified material I needed 1 hour beforehand. Got there and didn’t have it. Complete waste of time. Front desk clerk needs to get an attitude to match his tax bracket. Very snide individual. Needs to be trained how to speak to a paying customer.
Update: After reading other negative reviews, apparently poor customer service is a part of their brand. It appears my dollar wasn’t the kind they like.
This place is a dream for builders, designers and remodeling projects! They have new and used items that run the gambit. Everything from cabinets, doors and toilets, to balusters, trim, and faucets, to lamps, tables, chairs and the craziest random items that you couldn’t find anyplace else!
The guys at Northside Material Brokers were a huge help! Mike helped me to pick out the vanity and made sure that it was right. And the other guys took special care of my vanity loading it on the truck. These are good guys with a helpful and funny personalities. I will go back!

Great selection, great pricing. I bought two vanities from them. They were New in box and saved me a bunch of money compared to the big box stores. I highly recommend. I will be coming back for doors and flooring soon.
It is a nice size warehouse where you can go buy small to large appliances stretch and Dent items discontinue items sell prices and one of the kind items that is hard to find For your home are your business Also if you are on a tight budget this definitely the place for you it has refrigerated stones dishwashers doors bathtubs kitchen cabinets flooring and a hole lot more.
This place has tons of stuff. Some of it is really cool and unusual, BUT it's pretty disorganized and kind of a clusterf**k. We came in and split up - husband went to find an interior door, and I was looking for kitchen cabinetry hardware. After about 40 minutes, Mike gave up on finding the right sized door, and of the bins of drawer pulls, etc., I'd only managed to find 5 that matched in the style and size I liked.
Go when you have half a day to kill!
Mike was very resourceful and friendly. My brother came all the way from Montgomery Alabama found what he was looking for. Prices were excellent! Anybody else to come back to do business again thank you
Great Place for salvaged home repair stuff! They have everything, doors, windows, flooring, tile, cabinets, vanities, sinks, tubs, water heaters, roofing stuff, restaurant items, etc, and all at terrific prices!! This place is organized and huge inside like a football field, plus the staff is friendly and helpful
Been a few times already. Found some great deals. Hit or miss on items as they are mostly surplus. I will go back every two weeks just to look around. Friendly people, well organized (well as best as you can for a store of its type)
Kind of chaotic but good for certain things. It would be nice if they had regular social media posts to show what had come in.

I purchased two doors(front with side lights) and back door mostly glass and I paid only $1,000 for both which is what I would have paid this amount for the back door only. So much to look at, loved every minute which was about 2 1/2 hours. I plan to return and look for other items, ie-toilets.

I've been going here for several years and in the beginning it was a mess. Despite the mess they had so much stuff that I would spend hours looking around. Now they still have the amazing things, but Jerry, Mike, and the guys have done an outstanding job with the organizing and cleaning of the place. I will always be a customer here!
This place is different than your everyday store. I love it. Always interesting items that are needed for building, repairing or improving houses and buildings, plus other things. They let you shop on your own but are right there to help you when you need it. They carry new and used items. Don't take the kids as they can get lost, maybe hurt as it is stuffed with lots of stuff; but adults can enjoy it, have fun, feel safe and get some good buys.
Wide variety of different materials. Don't really haggle like many other places that sell similar products. Prices are a bit higher than to be expected. As stated, they do have a lot of inventory. Very good chance I'll be back.
Huge supply and selection for remodeling which is great and some of the pricing isn’t bad. However. it’s personally hard for me to focus with blasting political talk radio and no customer service. We were there recently and noticed their staff was too busy goofing off in one of the offices with the door closed. I don’t care who you are or what you believe that’s not good business. The atmosphere there has definitely changed for the worst. I tend not to leave negative reviews. But as a business owner my goal is to make customers comfortable. Clearly ‘all’ money isn’t welcome. Unfortunate!
First they won’t negotiate their prices period. The Prices that you’ll se on website like craiglist are just a hook to take you there. I was buying a product that they actually have in craiglist for $34.99 and when I went to the store is $39.99 and the guy was there told me that is no way that he can match that price cause they need to update the ad on craiglist , That’s not my fault , so I end up paying full price on it cause I need it. And if you need any help in the store good luck with that cause all employees are just joking around doing nothing , so I’ll recommend go somewhere else!
This place has EVERYTHING! It's like a Home Depot , Lowes , Antique Store , and Flea Market all under one roof. It's a great place to shop for discounted building materials and home improvement items. And also has A HUGE SELECTION of other really cool items as well. And there is new assortment of things everytime I visit .
I have been going to Northside Material Brokers since they were on Northside Drive about 18 years ago. Back then, they had great deals on all kinds of stuff. They would also work out a deal with us and we have been known to spend days there. However, this new location is different. It has a lot of stuff, but they are not as eager to help or to make a deal. The store is 1/3 the size of their other locations and the selection is not nearly as good. They have a bunch of disorganized, dusty, stuff that looks like it may have been used in some movie productions, but it's all too ridiculously overpriced to be interesting. Their surplus prices are reasonable, but the customer service is not.
a few years ago the prices and people were good but not now. went there yesterday and everything is ridiculously overpriced on used items - no need to mention new items. used washers and dryers are priced at $600 each. very small electrolux brands. home depot and lowes has better brands and bigger machines for about the same price brand new with warranty. very tiny room for negotiation. don't waste your time or money over there.
Great prices. Is like the Goodwill and TJ Max of the building supplies together, love de selection of items for 1/2 price, amazing vintage findings, all imaginable things.

We are remodeling a house to sell. The staff are knowledgeable and pleasure to deal with. If you know what you are looking for, this should be the place you go to buy. We have been very pleased with our purchases, both price and quality. We go to Lowe's or HD to get ideas and prices, then to NMB to find better products at lower prices. We don't always get all we need but save significantly on what we do get.
The place is not neat or tidy but as far as I am concerned, that is good. It keeps the casual window shoppers out.
We bought for $200 a very large oiled bronze light fixture that could sell for $1500. Sales staff was very helpful and polite. Even helped us load the fixture into the car. This place carries such a variety of building materials that you could spend hours wandering around shopping.
