Horrible costumer service, old looking white lady was rude! sold me a bad part and when i go to get a refund or work something out i was cussed out by SHOZAD saying part is good and i dont know what im talking about, they also lie abt testing part too, hope no one goes there to buy anything
Horrible customer service the female receptionist is rude and lacks professionalism. My husband and I bought a transmission from them. They agreed to deliver it the next day. My husband called to make sure it would be delivered as planned. Instead of checking if everything was in place, she responded with a condescending tone saying if it’s on the schedule it’ll be delivered. The transmission was damaged!!! And DIDNT GET DELIVERED! We did NOT get notified by her. The shop called and notified us it wasn’t there. Now our repair will be delayed and we will have to come out of pocket more for a rental. BAD BUSINESS NO PROFESSIONALISM NO ACCOUNTABILITY they also have not offered any discount for their discrepancy!
Prices are so high and they give you hassle when you want a refund. The lady is also very rude. Would literally hang up the phone when you try to negotiate.
My dad is a CDT, Master Technician. A CDT is considered the pinnacle of their craft and represents the highest level of technical certification for high-end luxury cars. We were interested in purchasing a part. &"'gftdfaAed6a6The lady representing the Dekalb Auto Salvage argued with him about the location of a part on a vehicle. We finally left ignorance to entertain herself.
Husband and I went to this location to get a wheel today. Unfortunately this location did not have what we were looking for. However, they did not end it there. The nice woman there was quick to assist further by contacting another location. She was quick to provide us with confirmation they had what we needed. Thanks for providing a smooth and great experience. I recommend stopping in and checking DeKalb Auto Salvage. They will provide that "writing will make it happen" customer service!
I'm my opinion there is NOTHING worth salvaging about this business- I would give them negative stars if possible, I will say that they are consistent- their customer service, parts and reliability are all the same- HORRIBLE! Bought 1 defective engine, they refused to refund my money, instead sent an engine (which we had to wait for) that was ALSO DEFECTIVE, AND OFFERED NOTHING OTHER THAN RUDENESS AND APATHY. PROTECT YOUR MONEY AND STAY CLEAR OF THIS "BUSINESS"

They dont do returns so be careful what you order even if youre an auto repair shop they dont care about business relationship. DO NOT ORDER PARTS THEY WONT GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK
I specifically asked for a trunk lid for my 2010 Volkswagen Jetta. I asked the woman on the phone if they would take it off and she said they would. When I arrived at 4:40 PM, they refused to serve me because they close at 5pm. If there was a deadline, then they should have told me this before I drove 30 to 40 minutes in traffic. The Front Desk lady also lied about the details of the conversation to her manager.
The worst customer service ever! My daughter was sold the wrong PCM for her car and when I called to rectify the issue, I was meet with hostility! The girl got very offensive and didn’t want to correct their mistake. I needed a PCM for a 1.8L Cruze but was sold a 1.4K turbo which won’t work! I tried to express this but got hung up on. This is why I don’t do business with community shops! Very unprofessional, bad attitude, horrible customer service! DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!
They lie about the time the parts will be ready they said like 2-3 hours ….. 5 hours later when I poped back up instead of calling me they said they couldn’t get the parts until the next day then the next day they only had 1 out of the 2 parts available…. Such a horrible day when your car is out of commission and you have to find another place for the axle they took my money to get it . They did refund money but if I knew that the day b4 I would have took my business els where .
Would like the Owner to reach out. I did contact the number that I'd listed for the owner of this establishment. The people do not do their job. Called for over a week about a part that they still never checked. Lied and told me they have it and I can come get it. After 4-5 times calling on the same part over a course of a week and I had someone driving up there only for them to not look for the part. I voiced my frustration and asked where's the customer service. the manager Wendy is going to tell me that its because they don't want to sell it or get it down to look for the part If you don't want to do the job quit and let someone else have it that do! Don't do business with them! They need a whole new crew gut out the old lazy rude crew.
U call they want get stupid instead of assisting, The lady want to hung up. So I went in person (it wasn’t a short trip). start of cool the right people got the right people. Then two white person when to want to talk over the blk sale manger. One the white lady want pull out her purple gun on the counter while ask for my vin like someone supposed to fear her. Then same part number the guy give me over the phone in person the raise it $200. In person. Base on that I don’t want know business with them.
The only reason I rated one star is because they don't give the option for 0 stars. I went to purchase the inner and outer taillight on a car. They had me waiting 3 hours and still, didn't have the lights off the car. I am a bodyman and a hell of a painter. It takes 10 minutes to take the taillights off the car. Well that's how long it takes me. So I left a deposit of $150 and told the snake that I will be there tomorrow to get my lights. The next day that devil has one light and expected a hundred dollars for the one light. I said no way, we talked about inner and outer for $250. To add, they wouldn't give me my money back, I called the police and they said it's a civil matter. Then the witch says I'll give him store credit, but he'll have to use it within 30 days or it will expire. I ended up buying a light for $250, and they added tax of $24.50 and didn't put it on the receipt as tax. Against the lax. The junkyard should be boycotted until they learn to treat people right... there's a lot of things I wanted to do to those A h, but it's against the law but they deserve it and more

They had the part I needed which I could not find in MN or neighboring states.
Mj was very helpful. She sent photos of the part before shipping and sent me the tracking number. The part arrived halfway across the country in 4 days.
The part was set up exactly as needed to install on the steering column.
I will be using them again in the future.
The ladies here at the front desk are great. And the guys to get the parts go above and beyond to help you. I highly would recommend this place please also be sure you know what the return policy is for the part you are buying.
Excellent service and so helpful when I need parts. Parts picked for me in 30 minutes or less. Rebuilt my sons brake system including calipers and rotors in a day with their help and expedited service!!!! They helped my wife get a spare when I was out of town working. So helpful and awesome energy at this business!!!
Charged me for a motor core, cashed my check and won't refund me my core money after numerous calls. Send driver to pick up core with no money, no check and then proceeds to give me a bill for 500.00. Was told by Wendy that we could bring it to her to get our money back.. Stay away from these people they are crooks!!!
Called in for a 06 Chevy transmission and clerk told me it was under 100k miles for $850 (top dollar) and I asked for exact milage . He tried to muffle the phone and asked For mileage from a coworker and coworker also expressed it was well over 100k mileage . They are liars I winded up bringing my business to s&w auto parts Lithonia and got the same transmission with 88k miles VERIFIED and warranted for $700 !!!!
Very incompetent group of people. Wasted 3 hours of my time for a part I asked them to confirm they have the day before I came out. I was told someone confirmed they had it... but they did not have. After an hours wait, I had to walk the yard to find they guy who was pulling the part and he was just standing around talking to a group of guys. He said he was just about to come tell me they dont have it. And when I called them on it, I got all kinds of excuses instead of an apology. I will never give them my business.
I would most definitely recommend this place. I call and got a quote from Nubia, she was very pleasant and understanding. I had been searching for a transmission for my 2000 CRV and could not find anywhere for 57days but I call they had it , I showed up with my mechanic and was able to leave happy and satisfied. Also received a warranty

Called the day before to see if they had parts I was looking for, the girl that answered said they did and they would be off the car and ready by 10am the next day and the the 2 parts I was getting would be 50.00 each. When I had my driver arrive at the location at 10 am the parts were not ready, he sat from 10 am until 2pm when they finally had them off the car and then called me and told me they were 25.00 more each then what was quoted. I run a business so I lost 50.00 in parts, an employee sitting at their location being paid over half the day and we drove over 30 miles to go there location. I will never recommend this place or use them again. Very bad customer service the manager there was also yelling at me over the phone.
I bought a transmission for my 96 Maxima and I had zero issue with it. Customer service was on par, and the price I would say was quite reasonable. This spot is definitely a place to get quality used parts for less.
