Butler has worked our cars for over 15 years. The repairs are made in a timely manner. They back up their work. I highly recommend their shop on Baston Road.
I’ve been doing business with Butler Automotive for several years and haven’t had any problems. There have a shuttle service, which I take advantage of, that takes you home and once work is complete, the shuttle will pick you up and return you to Butler. Prior to beginning work, Butler informs me of the repairs they recommend and associated cost. Any issues that occur while work is being done, Butler notifies me and gets my OK prior to proceeding. Personal are knowledgeable, friendly and work with you
I trust the professionalism, promptness, and skills at the Martinez,GA location. They have figured out and fixed an issue on my f150 pickup that the dealership could not figure out. Took in another vehicle (Mazda) with a sensor issue. They called to report the issue and fixed it within a couple of days. Pricing, in my limited knowledge of mechanical costs, I believe was reasonable.
Absolutely terrible service. Quoted me $12,000 to replace the transmission took it to another shop down the road got it done for less than $3000 with a warranty would never recommend anybody to use Butler.
Hank and the team did a great job, great communication each step. We had to order for parts, but they did all the could to expedite and execute. I am appreciative.
As they always do. They are honest and clear on what the problem is and how much it will cost and they will point out anything else that needs attention but will not be pushy. Great service!!
Excellent customer service. Specialist in the mechanics of our 2018 kia Sorento. Butler fixed my air conditioner and most recently did a pre certification inspection ensuring my car was ready to be sold without any hidden costly expenses for the buyer. Prices very reasonable too. Sometimes as a single person woman, auto places like to get over on you but these men are always very transparent and although they give me an estimate of what everything that might need to be done, they are always very clear on what is immediate and what can wait.
They had my vehicle for 7 days and blamed FORD. These guys will say anything except the truth, Ford had it fixed in an hour when I called and verified the TRUTH. Then they gaslit me about their expenses when they cost me over 1k in rental car expenses. Use extreme caution when dealing with these people.
I would not recommend this location for service! In June we paid $2,300 to get our vehicle fixed only for the same issue to occur four months later! We were then told it was something else that is causing the same issue and it would cost $1,000. I refused and escalated my complaint. It was agreed that they would fix it with no extra charge! Picked up the vehicle today(11/4) drove it for less than an hour and we are having the same issue and message! They are doing innie, Minnie, Minn, mo with our vehicle! And we also discovered they cracked the windshield! And Matthew Brade has the worse customer service at that store! At first he refused to give me a receipt for services rendered! This has been the worst experience hands down! My vehicle is not working and I am out of $2,300! Should've just have taken it to the dealership!!!
Haven't had my husbands car in a week finally get it back and its still showing all the codes it was before we gave it to them. never will use butler automotive ever again!
The technician who worked on my truck found all issues I was concerned with as well as issues I was not aware of yet. They got everything worked out with the warranty company on the repairs they came across and had approval with parts already ordered when they called to update me. I will definitely bring my truck back for the next service needed.
Butler diagnosed a problem with my transmission and advised me not to take it off the lot. I planned to take it for a second opinion the next day, but it gave out before I made it to the shop. Fortunately, they were still able to source a replacement locally and get me back on the road the next day. The team did a great job taking care of me.

I explained that I was sent to them when I walked in just as sweet as pie and told him I would like my transmission fluid checked because I don’t have a dip stick in my van. He explained that most vehicles don’t come with one very passive. I said ok so do I need to make an appointment and he just blinked at me and continued to explain that it’s a sealed unit and they would have to place it on a diagnostic machine. Etc.
I clearly understood the underlying tone that it would be an expensive job. Please never underestimate a black woman that just paid her van off and was looking for superior service to rebuild every issue. This was the perfect opportunity to gain a loyal customer. Was it my black proud and powerful earrings or just my presence? He didn’t even have the decency to stand, greet me, and treat as the guest of butler automotive and not the kitchen help.
I had two issues with my F150 fixed at Butler and they did a good job both times. The prices were comparable to other shops I checked with, and the work was done as scheduled.

Also the tire rotation.I very much appreciate the service given except I found a glob of black grease on the passenger seat which wasn’t there before,but I had some remover to get it off. My 2017 Nissan Rogue started making a grinding noise when I braked, so I brought it into Butler Automotive in Martinez. They diagnosed worn brake pads and rotors and got everything replaced the same day. The price was reasonable, and now it stops like new. No more noise, no more stress. Great job, Butler team!
The team at Butler in Martinez is awesome. Scheduling was easy, and they took the time to answer all my questions. Whether it’s an oil change or something more serious, I always feel like I’m in good hands. It's great to have a reliable shop right here in the neighborhood.
Wont give it one star cause it was friendly staff but still sucked to get charged for a diagnostic twice due to their failure to repair an exhaust leak. Paid for theirs, told it's under warranry at dealership and they wont charge there. "If they do charge you a diagnostic we'll work with you". Dealership says it's 100% not under warranty and not the sensor but the leak causing it. Call butler....refuse to "work with me" when they could have just fixed it and saved me some money in the first place. Not a great first experience imo.
I had a dead battery but no one would touch it because of the terminals. I took my car to Butler’s late Thursday afternoon and went Friday morning to pick it up. They changed my battery and cleaned the terminals. Thanks so much
They talk a good game, but the service sucks big time they left me stranded after they worked on my vehicle. I wouldn’t trust them at all. I called them. I had them put in a fuel pump. They said it went bad and it took me over 20 minutes to put gas into my fuel tank cause I got some line twisted when I added my STP on every other tank that took almost 4 minutes to drain that little bottle they want me to bring it back. Why the hell would I bring it back because they supposedly checked everything
This is my go-to shop for routine maintenance. The guys at the front desk, Matthew, Thomas, and Hank, are friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and good listeners. While I haven't met the guys in the back, I have always been satisfied with their work. I appreciate them taking care with my cars.
Used them a lot over the years. They do good work. And they’re always up selling. I won’t be back after a recent $1800 estimate and $175 diagnostic fee. Another local shop did the same work for $500. Still running strong with a radiator they said needed to be replaced 2 years ago. I’ve never been low on coolant. But they like to say you need this or need that based on the mileage. Good work, yes. Honest business, no.
The work gets done pretty fast, no complaints there. I sent my car to have my vent replaced and it was return there was a big scratch on my steering wheel and my AC vent wasn't fitting perfectly in the vent housing. I told this to the person in charge and they played it off as I was the one that did that damage in the 2 minutes I got in the car after it was given to me. There were many little crumbs of plastic all over my seat and cup holders. I contacted the owner twice and both times I was ghosted and never responded.
