The staff here is great. There’s always someone, if not an entire team, ready and willing to help unload and handle the material being brought in in order to make the experience quick and easy.
The staff here are extremely courteous, kind, and helpful. It's silly to think that a quick recycling trip might be the highlight of a weekend, yet they made that brief stop feel special. These folks make me proud of the community government and our tax money at work.
I’ve been recycling for years, and just moved to the Grovetown area, and This location has the most helpful and nicest people I have ever meet. Highly recommend this location
I've been going there for a long time. Yes, sometimes I didn't have my stuff sorted, and all the blonde manager lady said is that it is faster when sorted. I said OK, I'll do it. So, all my recycling is sorted, every time I go there to bring my recycling, they help everyone else, but not me. I've been observing this for a while, but now it's enough. I've asked a young lady, if they've been told by the manager not to help me, and she said: "Well, we've asked you multiple times to sort your stuff". I told her that I've never even spoken to her before, and that's a clear answer for me. I'm going to call Columbia County!!

The people at this center are extremely kind and helpful. They're patient when I mess up my recycling! They're the nicest people I've met since I moved here!
Rude, dismissive, and gave false information. I asked a week ago if they took wicker furniture. Young lady told me yes. Go to drop it off and a belligerent elderly gentleman said " no we don't no one here told you that" while the same young lady just stood by and said nothing. I don't care if your volunteers or get paid for this. Learn some basic manners and customer service.
By far one of the worst local government funded places that I have ever been to.
Please understand that when you are servicing your county residents try to show some pride and have a little customer service attitude.
You are literally serving the people you live next to.
No problems at all dropping off an old, busted vacuum cleaner. The gentleman that helped me was very kind and helpful and I was surprised by how smooth it was to drop off my stuff.
Great experience. They took our TV that was damaged during a recent move, and old cell phones and card board. The entire staff was friendly and helpful.
April 17, 2021. Just experience of unprofessional, aggressive and accusatory employee senselessly verbally attacking a disabled vet dropping off recycling. The employee is a white unfit/obese middle aged blonde woman, ~5.5” that was hell bent on escalating something so trivial.
Please remember to check the Holiday schedule to see when they are open. Closed Sunday & Mondays normally. Nice Team of Folks....and zoo animals too ! Normal in and out time is 10 minutes.
Always quick in and out, this is a resource I've been very grateful for since relocating to Grovetown, and trying to downsize clutter and unpacked items from previous moves. Not to mention it helps keep my garage clear of boxes from my wife's Amazon addiction!
This place is always so amazing. You can tell because there is usually a lot of traffic that comes through it. The employees here are always humorous and mostly in good spirits. I say mostly because they get their run of the mill just plain rude people that come through here. There employees also give a great understanding of recycling. It's used to be, here is all of my recycling that I think is recyclable, have a great day, and take off. Now since it is self service, it makes you better understand the process of separating at home, and what is and what is not recyclable.
So easy to drop stuff off here. I flatten any cardboard and stack it up in my vehicle, they almost always unload it for me as I have 3 young kids with me. Staff is friendly.
