I am a Glass technician and these people have the worst customer service I have ever seen and they were telling me how to do and what parts fit on my vehicle when I have more then 20 years in the glass industry, absolute horrible customer service and waste of time
Call's Used Auto Parts is tucked away in the way back of the property at the end of the local road (Calls Dr.) If you'd never been there during the couple decades they've been in business, you could easily drive by the road, as it looks like a driveway...
There were 2 guys working at Call's on the day I went. I didn't get his name, but the one with a beard looked like he could be the owner. The other guy was named "Snuffy." These guys were pretty laid back but seem to really know their when it comes to auto parts and repairs. If they can't help you, they could probably tell you who can. You might want to call ahead to see if they have your vehicle or parts in stock before you go. If the security manager (a Belgium Shepherd) likes you and they're not too busy, you might get to talk shop with the guys while you're paying for your parts, get their advice or ask about other parts you might need. They might even offer you a snack! Also, I noticed that when a couple of people stopped by to inquire about something, the bearded guy seemed to know what all he's got there and what he doesn't, since he didn't need to pull anything up on a computer or look at an inventory list to check. I found that to be pretty on-point & showed professionalism.
All-in-all, i had a good experience at Call's Used Auto Parts. Cool couple of dudes in a well-maintained shop. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to buy used replacement parts for an older vehicle, especially if they have the ability to perform their own repairs.
It seems that Call's does do repairs, but apparently they don't take on a new repair job unless they'll have the time to get it done, which also says alot about their professionalism. I'd give 'em 10 if i could!
Whoever the dude is on the phone Reggie or whatever is a complete and utter rude human being for no reason. Blew me away truthfully was told by the woman I would get a call back when Reggie looks for the part patiently waited for 15 minutes and was like okay I’ll call them again. Decided I didn’t want to be annoying so he calls back and was a complete jerk for no reason. Weird guy
Completely wasted my time. These people have no customer service and were racist and rude for no reason. Told me it transmission was already pulled and ready drove 1hr there to find out it’s still in the vehicle and he would get to it next day and to bring my trans in for a core ok no problem went back home got the trans and drove back just for the guy to say he doesn’t even want to sell me the transmission now completely wasted 4hrs of my time and was extremely rude for no reason at all. I would never recommend anyone to go or support in any way. If I could give them zero stars I would.
Called to ask for one part told him I needed parts for 1998 jeep Cherokee XJ. He stated he’s never heard of it and told me to call someone else and hung up on me.
I called and asked 1 question pertaining to an interior piece I needed for my vehicle. I was told that they did not have the part. That is fine, I have more than one vehicle I need parts for, however before I could even get another word out of my mouth the older gentleman on the phone hung up on me. I called back and told the person who answered the phone that I had just been on the phone with someone and they hung up before I could ask my other questions. They must have had me in speaker because the first guy responded very aggressively and said, "I told you we don't have the part you're looking for." When I then told him that I just had a few more questions, like "Do you just not have any right now, or is this just not a vehicle you guys normally have?" He said "I don't do this over the phone." And hung up again. Absolutely unbelievable that this business can operate if they treat customers like this. Good for them I guess, I just know I'll make sure to never contribute to them doing so.
Called for a part, was told they had it, and when I got there at 2pm they “had issues and were closed down for the day and wouldn’t be back until Monday”...
SENT MY SON TO PICK UP SOME BODY PARTS AFTER I CALLED AND SAID THEY HAD THE PARTS I NEEDED. ONE OF THE PARTS WAS A CHEAP CHINESE AFTER MARKET PART THAT I COULD BUY FOR $11 ON ROCK AUTO FOR OEM PRICE OF $35. CALLED HIM, HE SAID WHAT WE PULL IS WHAT YOU GET NO RETURN. TOLD HIM i WOULD WRITE A REVIEW, HE SAID "GO FOR IT" AND HERE IT IS. PULL A PART IS THE WAY TO GO IF YOUR NOT HAPPY WITH A PART THEY HAVE A 30 DAY RETURN POLICY. LIFE IS FULL OF LEARNING FORTUNATELY THIS ONE ONLY COST ME $35.
No BS, forward and to the point business. If they don't have it, they are helpful in finding the part or at least giving advice on what to do. Hard workers! This is not a "you pull it" yard, they will pull the parts and bring them to you. Honest people, and are able to troubleshoot issues if something goes wrong. Highly recommend them to those in need.
