Had to request a tow through AAA, and Watkins picked up the job. Kevin arrived ahead of schedule, and he was amazing… 5 stars doesn’t do him justice. He was personable, professional, very kind, and takes great pride in his job and service to others. I rode along with him to the auto shop. His truck was extremely well kept inside and out and a surprisingly comfortable ride. I most definitely recommend Watkins, and specifically Kevin, if you have the option. He made dealing with a broken down car on a Monday AM a pleasure for me!

I called them late at night to winch a truck. They told me they’d be there in 30 minutes, We waited—and they never showed up. No call, no update, nothing. When I tried to follow up, I realized they had blocked my number. I even tried calling from my wife’s phone, and after calling twice they blocked her number too.
If you didn’t want to take the job, you could’ve just said so instead of leaving us stranded in the middle of the night. Completely unprofessional and unreliable.
But thankfully we found another company to get us out and for 1/3 of the price you quoted.
Update 06/19: Since you're claiming there's no record of my call, I’ve uploaded photos as proof. Convenient excuse when you don’t feel like doing your job, huh? I was told someone would be out in 30 minutes — that was at 12:04 AM. We waited. And waited. No one ever showed up.
At 1:57 AM, I tried calling again using *67 because it was 100% clear you blocked our number.
I’m not the type to leave one-star reviews just to complain, but this experience was unacceptable. You left us helpless on the side of the road in the middle of the night after giving your word that someone was coming. We waited over an hour with no contact, no follow-up, and no intention from you to actually help.
If you didn’t want to do the job, you could’ve just said so. Instead, you chose to ghost us and leave us stranded.
We ended up calling someone else who actually cared, showed up, and got us out safely. The people need to know what kind of “business” you’re really running. This wasn’t a mistake — it was a complete disregard for human decency.
Professional, friendly, courteous, and very flexible. One of our children was in Savannah when their car died and needed to be towed to a nearby shop. Jerry responded and was incredibly kind and friendly. He expertly loaded the car. When the AAA dispatch mistakenly provided a wrong delivery address, I was able to easily work with Jerry to correct the delivery address even though I live in New England. It is so nice to know that even from almost 1000 miles away, Watkins Towing was able to provide me with excellent service and peace of mind.
This company is top notch. When they say open 24/7 they mean it. Late night early morning everywhere else was closed, I happened to see their business online. I had already called 3 previous towing companies, they answered the phone, on the first ring. They dispatched a driver immediately. Right after they hung up. My phone rang with the driver and he was just confirming he was in route. There was hardly any wait time at all 20min. or less. My driver Mike P was very professional and had my car ready to go in 5min. Watkins is definitely reliable, punctual, professional. Definitely what you need when you need a tow. Definitely will be using them in the future for my towing needs. Look no further Watkins Towing and Recovery will take care of your towing needs.
Used them tonight through AAA to tow my Cadillac to the dealership and I'd give more stars if I could! The young man who responded was very professional and took great care of my car! He also had a great personality and you can tell he prides himself in his work. I appreciated him calling to let me know his ETA and then again when he was almost to me. I'll definitely recommend them to anyone who needs roadside assistance! Thank you Watkins Towing for getting my baby safely to the dealership
To add to my wife's review. Went on Wednesday and was told I needed documents. Not a surprise that's all good. I go Thursday then told only take cash. Thats odd. Then I go Friday during the business hours they stated. No one there. Went Saturday, no one there. Went this morning, no one there. Went at lunch, shocker, no one there. Finally get a hold of someone and was told to be there at 330. No one there. Waiting 15 minutes and nothing. So i left, and was told to go back and would be there at 4, shocker again. No one there. Then told go at 430. And finally got the car. After I wasted hours trying to get it back. Having my wife get yelled at by a rude receptionist or whatever her title is that she feels entitled and important enough to talk to people with zero respect. The prices changed every time I talked to someone different. Never had a straight answer and also made to pay cash. If you have your car towed from a parking lot I highly suggest you proceed with caution and record the conversations..the guys there that tow are nice and have dealt with them a handful of times and seem to be a fine towing company in that regard. But goodness, I've never dealt with such a rude, non punctual, thoughtless women in my life. Bless her.
I’ve used Watkins twice recently and I cannot stress enough how wonderful the entire staff is. The two drivers were polite, friendly and punctual. The office staff were lovely as well. Great company!
If only I could give them NO stars. Would rather keep the problems than get rid of them. And they lost several good drivers. The night shift guy is still screwing people over as per the newest review. Glad I’m not apart of what they got going on.

Literally one of the worst experiences with a business. Tried multiple times to get a car. Multiple tries, they are never there. I’m talking at 9am, 11am, 2pm… that’s the times that I’ve tried with no one there. Then I show up when they say and now they only take cash. I’m told they won’t charge me for the weekend since I tried multiple times to get the car and that I owed $350. I’m told to be there at a certain time. I show up again when they say and no one is there. When I finally got ahold of the woman she was so rude and disrespectful saying “your husband should have been here Friday” “I do not care that no one is there when I said, it’s not my problem” screaming. I am calm, I tell her I think she is being extremely rude and unprofessional. My husband finally goes and someone is there, and they charged us $450… because the woman was upset and they would not give the car back until we paid the $450 even though we were told an hour ago it was $350. That is dirty. Do not go here! Use Sapps, I’ve used them and they are so kind and professional. This place was so awful.
I want to thank Watkins towing for coming to my rescue. We were headed to Florida to our 2nd home ,and had to pull off I 95 near pooler Georgia due to the wheel bearing about to seize up. They sent out their flatbed, Sam was amazing at securing our vehicle and making the 200 mile trip. Thank you so much Sam,you guys saved me from a trip from hell. You made our day. Yesterday my wife's car needed to be towed. Went on AAA site for a tow . Watkins towing took the job. Within minutes I received a call from Brittany the driver, who said she'd be there in 20 minutes. She showed in 15 minutes. Brittany was very professional and friendly. You could see her truck was clean and professional. She was very focused on making adjustments so everything was correct going on the truck and coming off. Her display of professionalism ensures me that there's still good people out there . Erin, and Murphy assisted me in having my old mustang towed. They were professional and very personable. It was nice to have regular conversations. I did find out out that we were both chihuahua lovers. Yes, I did have my chihuahua, Pebbles with me. However, all she did was bark. Watkins Towing & Recovery was very helpful and made sure we were safe and my care was taken care of on the side of a major interstate I16. The driver (I think Carl) went out of his way to get us to a tire company who could replace my blown tire. He even told us every restaurant which was in walking distance so we could eat while we waited.
They have saved me not once but twice! Very trustworthy people and I evened learned a bit of car knowledge from Jeremy. 10/10 would recommend when life beats you and your car down.
Requested tow service at 7:40pm thru my roadside assistance and I’m with my car. Initially was told the ETA would be around 9:30. Called around 10pm and was told it would be another 20-30min wait. Called around 11pm and it went to voicemail then only to have a text saying they would call back (never called). Got another text shortly saying they would check on it and never heard back. Only to have the roadside inform me that another company would come to do the job but I would have to wait another 2hrs. Thanks for nothing!
In a very stressful situation on the side of a I 95 the driver made sure we were safe and the car taken care of. I wish we could give 10 stars. He was helpful, professional and went out of his way.
I had to call for towing twice in one week through my Allstate roadside assistance. Both times, Watkins towing and recovery was sent to my assistance, the arrival time and the customer service was great on both ends, the dispatchers and the drivers get an A+! Needed help after my ride broke down. Saw this dude Frazier moving a truck through the area and stopped him. He gave me all the info I needed and got dispatched to my situation on the spot. I used my AAA due to a flat tire and this company came promptly to save me from my nightmare. The driver of the tow truck was extremely kind and had a great personality. He called me and followed up once he dropped my car off at the tire place.

Had a great experience with the technician that showed up this afternoon! Brittney called ahead and let me know she was on her way. She arrived when she said she would, even with rush hour traffic. Very courteous and loaded up my broke car in a fast, yet safe and efficient manner. Towed it to predetermined location without a hitch. Overall, great experience! 10/10, highly recommend!
