This is the worst customer service I have experienced ever in life !! Sold me a bad engine for my daughter’s car. I recorded it running it was smoking and knocking and they taking forever to refund me after several different tasks they really do no take customers seriously and we pay the salary !!!!

We are a dealership and regularly do business with various LKQ locations. Had a horrible experience dealing with this location for something as simple as a 3rd row seat for a Chevy Suburban. The delivery driver frequently tried to deliver the seat outside of our posted hours and, despite our best efforts to meet him to coordinate a handoff, would not cooperate or give us the seat. After several attempts to get it, the seat was returned to stock. I tried calling Ryan, the sales rep, multiple times to coordinate pickup of the seat, with no response. I then called back to LKQ Alabama where I originally ordered the seat, and was connected with Charlie at the Atlanta location (supposedly a manager), who doesn't have an ounce of professionalism and continually interrupted me while I tried to work this out. Charlie sent me back over to Ryan, telling me "he was in the office," when in reality, Ryan was out on vacation. Overall, LKQ Atlanta is a complete dumpster fire of a location, and I will not do business with this location again by any means. I took my business elsewhere for this transaction and got the part same day.

I'ma sum this up in one sentence THIS OS THE MIST DISRESPECTFUL PLACE I EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE bad customer service I had to stand at the dest for about 15 minutes before any of the people at the desk even say anything to me and when they did they was so rude all of them at the front desk and at the window I will never do business with them again and they even sold me a bad part and wrap it in a bag so I won't see it damage until I was getting ready to put the part on and noticed it was damaged I guess they did that to hide the damage part people stay away from this place because you may have to cuss them out with their bad attitudes the hell with that place If I owned it all of them would get fired

THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF. They charge high shipping and send you damage parts just to keep your shipping money. Had I seen when UPS DELIVERED THIS TO MY DOOR. I would have sent this trash back to LKQ. False ADVERTISING. And they NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. Trash company.

I spent $4000 with a mechanic and him getting motor from Mrs Sharee I think that's her name she was an older hateful rude representative for LKQ She said my car was old and she was not going basically approved for the motor to fix even afterthe mechanic and myself informed her heard that the motor was making a noise which my mechanic said would go away in a few days it didn't and I felt the two of them just took my money with no concern of my car while having to drive an hour & half to work cause he's a mechanic moment the noise was heard he should have contacted LKQ Immediately but instead I was told wrong info even to the point of I had 6 months of warranty after my car was brought back to the shop several times I wasn't told what the noise really was till after 6000 miles then it was mention that my warranty was 6mths or 6000 miles & mechanic say he apologized he forgot to mission it I feel him & Mrs sharee ( sharell) in the Atlanta office had plotted against me reason be when I called she knew it was me calling she was so rude she didn't ask me my name my car type she told me I had a 2007 Lexus but it's a 2009 she wasn't hearing I was trying to say I told her that motor was making noise day one and the mechanic can verify he say he did but she said there's nothing wrong with that motor blew me off & was intent of hanging up so with having 2 sick sons one heart trouble one kidney failure I can't afford to take this to the courts but I did call her manger so response I'm posting this to say make sure you have a trust worthy mechanic if you're buy a motor from Atlanta LKQ I was charged $1700 for that motor and paid like 3200 for labor just for him to not confirm the motor was legit instead he just avoided the extra work of taking it out and calling LKQ at that moment instead just told me when asked what's that noise he said due to motor sitting on shelf for so long it would go away but after the warranty was expired he then told me what it was BUT GOD he's going to fight this battle when you wrong people God sees it may y'all have a blessed day I pray I have help someone...10/26/2025 ..... Was told in Montgomery lkq I could go to Atlanta lkq and pick the part I was needing up. He and I didn't know that you had to order it first. Well I get up there and found this out. And a young lady named Christine saved the day she was able to help me out. She is very friendly and very helpfull. Shout out for Christine !!

It was a bit of a drive for me coming from Central Atlanta, but all in all well worth it, the part I bought fit perfectly matched my car. The staff there were incredibly friendly all in all went very well.

I ordered my part from them last week…told me 24-48 hours…well part not available then told me it’s in route (this is the following week) called back and they stated “oh the part just left the Carolina location” but that was told to me the previous day so now on pick up day once again my parts are not ready nor do anybody have an idea what’s going on….they stated they have parts at the local location but now all of a sudden they are short staffed and due to rain can’t get nobody to retrieve the part….quick to take your money but slow to respond and find a suitable solution…

Horrible. GA location doesn't answer the phone. Spent almost an hour on hold only for the call center to pick up and direct me to a location in Massachusetts just for them to tell me to call the GA location that doesn't pick up. A waste of time. Zero stars

I purchased multiple thousands of dollars of parts from this location. I installed them and thought all was well. I take the vehicle to get the state inspection. Come to find out, none of the parts from LKQ were put into the state system as required by law. I asked the manager to fix the problem a week ago and have reached out numerous times. No one calls back or can update me on anything. JASON STEELE is the manager and has failed to provide any reasonable customer service! Now, a repaired $33,000 vehicle is sitting there that the customer can't drive because of them!

Came into for some glass that I ordered at 9am. The sales rep Ashton Perry told me that it would be pulled and available the same day. I was excited and ready to get this nightmare over after someone broke into my vehicle at 4 am that same day. To my surprise I got to the front desk at 3pm and I’m told that it can’t be picked up same day. I was told there is a 24-48 hour turn around on auto glass and that the rep who sold me the glass was new. As a customer if a mistake is made it should be rectified in the customers interest. I asked for a supervisor at this location she told me there wasn’t one available. I asked her if there was ANYBODY above her and she said no. This is my last time doing business with them as they don’t care of their customers/ service members. Now I have to drive an hour back home and an hour back here tomorrow.

1st off we was excited that we finally found a motor not to far from home. Called and made a purchase over the phone. Sales person MBrown took payment over the phone and had the pick up time set for 1pm. We traveled an hour away to get there and was disappointed. Mbrown failed to communicate that you had to have the physical card when picking up the product. It was nothing they could do for us for the lack of communication on their end. We had the card in the digital form and they wouldn’t accept that. Big inconvenience for us. Had to take off time from work gas and I also had to travel with my kids. That was lack of communication on their end and we left with tears and a refund. And no one was willing to help us in any kind of way. Not even lance the manager. Moving forward they need to communicate that with the customers so this won’t happen to anyone in the future. We’re getting a refund of $1165.00 when they could have just let us get the item that was purchased over the phone. Like I said earlier we had digital card and ID card. At the Jenkinsburg Ga location

Ive been dealing with LkQ off and on for years. I called today to get a simple power steering reservoir and let me tell you the guy who answered the phone did everything he could in his power to not let me get the part. ive never had any issues ordering parts from this company. i will stop calling this company as i will pass it on to the other 100s of stores TO STOP CALLING LKQ!!!! They dont want your business we as customers are dime a dozen to them. Message to the guy who answered the phone its sad that a company ive traded with so long has people like you ruining its loyal customer base. AGAIN DONT WASTE YOUR TIME CALLING THESE GUYS THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT CUSTOMERS!!!

I've read over every single review for LKQ Atlanta in Jenkinsburg. It was not surprising to see that I'm not the only customer who has had this same issue and that there are several other issues that this company has. The security protocol/policy for the owner of the card and ID to pick up a part is not only overkill and asasine, but also was not told to us before getting there. So, not only did we not have the time to make accommodations, but they also would not be reasonable considering the amount of information we had. We had the ID with us, the physical credit card, a work order number, the very kind sales rep who sold us the transmission on the phone confirming our identity as the ones who purchased it, the out of state cardholder/customer giving verbal over the phone consent to pick it up, and we even got a very professional woman who was out of state and was above the in store manager to give her stamp of approval which was shut down by the very unprofessional, power tripping manager instantly. Even the aforementioned woman out of state agreed how ridiculous the situation was. Additionally, as I mentioned before, I've read other reviews with not only the same issue reoccurring, but also other issues pertaining to this manager specifically and the company at large. Our issue was not only with the policy. I understand that the policy specifically is not any of the employees fault, but rather the short sighted and small minded individual who put that policy in place with no regard to common sense to have any sort of loopholes in place nor decency to have the policy be known up front to LKQ's customers. This manager was incredibly rude, condescending, and on a power trip that made her incapable of seeing any sort of reason or having any decency. Her lack of humanity was baffling when she was speaking to my terminally ill father who was just trying to pick up this transmission for his brother who works out of state. Several other customers have had issues with her being rude and I imagine based on her conduct, there are countless others who haven't left a review who have had an issue with her as well. I also found a review from a former employee calling the work environment toxic and the manager two faced. So, not only is she inept when it comes to customer service, but also with dealing with her own co-workers. And last time I checked, that goes directly against what a good manager is supposed to do. Deal with the tasks and fill in the gaps in your co-workers day to day responsibilities and lead them responsibly and with kindness. I know that being a manager is a stressful and demanding job, but that does not excuse her behavior towards my father and I, her fellow co-workers, and apparent history of this behavior to several others. From my own experience and from the evidence on these reviews alone, this woman is the last person who should be in customer service and definitely shouldn't be in a position of power over her peers. As if any of that wasn't enough, I've also read several reviews that the parts supplied by LKQ are and have been faulty/poor quality for numerous customers over the years. In conclusion, I would strongly advise that anyone in need of quality parts and looking for the basic requirements of human kindness to be met, would not go to LKQ Atlanta for any reason whatsoever. Their policies are ridiculous, the in store manager is a power tripping, non professional, abhorrent woman who has less depth than a rain puddle in their cracked parking lot, and their parts are subpar at the absolute best. I will be reaching out to LKQ's director of operations about this manager specifically as she is the main issue in securing the transmission we purchased. But, all of these other issues have merit as well and are worth taking the time warn any prospective customer of LKQ Atlanta.

The lady at the pick up counter is rude and unprofessional. i purchased a transmission over the phone with Nathan-great customer service.... i called LKQ the following Monday to check and see if it was ready for pickup at Jenkinsburg location, lady said yes it is... So I sent my mechanic over 50 miles to pick it up.... LKQ refused to let him pick it up!!!! His name was on the invoice as CPU. She said our company credit card had to have the mechanics name on it, to match his ID. Which is NOT what the email i received about the pick up process says...it says YOU WILL NEED YOUR ID AND THE CARD YOU USED TO PURCHASE YOUR ITEM IN ORDER TO PICK IT UP. says nothing about it has to match. Just ridiculous. wasted a whole day, when my mechanic could have been actually working. We will not be ordering from this location again

Parts that where suppose to be here on Wednesday now have ETAs of Friday and Monday ...this is my 3rd time having part delays and now our production is delayed .......This will be my last time ordering smh .......Can't run business this way

Bought a transmission and it failed directly after installing it, had paid extra for the warranty so i thought i would be covered, Very wrong. Apparently they will only cover some of the repairs under warranty. Tried calling the number below and they said there is no record of my claim, absolutely zero help, then hung up on me. Will make sure none of my customers use LKQ again.

The quality of LKQ’s parts seem to be junkyard quality at best. I have had my transmission replaced three times . Each time using their product due to the warranty. I’ve had to take my work vehicle back to my mechanic several times due to this issue. I own a limo company and as a small business, I’m losing money due to the poor quality of this product. There seems to be no sense of urgency in getting this resolved. I am thoroughly frustrated with this situation. I expect for companies to standby their product. There seems to be no real accountability for what a customer needs and requires for their auto repairs. I just left a message on their voicemail today. My (Mechanic) left a voicemail yesterday and he still hasn’t heard from a sales manager. Each day that my vehicle sits at my mechanic’s shop. I’m losing revenue, and my business is suffering. This is completely unacceptable

My buddy needed a side mirror for his 02 gmc 1500 today. Came here an within 15 minutes. We had the part an was on our way. Sense I didn't go in ,I can not speak on the employees but I can guess they was professional . Because if they wasn't my buddy would have made that clear. So I'll recommend this place to everyone

Customer service was great my daughter had an issue with a part was able to take it back with no hassle and receive her refund. They're a great place to go if you're looking for parts you really need for your car and don't have scream amount of money to spend and you still can get a warranty

This is the absolute worst place to order a part from. My sales person (Tammy Smith) has lied to me for the last time. I have ordered parts from them many times over the last 17 years, But since being tuned over to her, I have either had my parts delivered several days late, or not at all. I quit dealing with them in 2017 because of this reason. Well last Tuesday 08-04-2020 I got in a situation where I needed a part that they had, so I bit the bullet and went against my better judgement and called. Tammy said they had several and the lowest priced one I couldn't get until Monday 08-10-2020, But, she had one on the lot that I could have Thursday 08-06-2020 but the cost was $150 +.. So, I chose to spend the extra money because my customer was in a rush, due to the fact he was now walking. Well, Thursday the part didn't show up. I called many many times Thursday trying to reach Tammy..nothing but an out dated voicemail recording, so I called a different number and talked to a manager (doubtful) named Brian, He assured me the part was out for delivery and I would have it Friday. Now it's Monday 08-10-2020 and I still have no part. I called, and finally get a hold of Tammy, and ask her where my part is. She informs me that It is on the truck, and I should get it today 08-10-2020. I asked if I was going to get the lesser price because the original part was less, and I paid extra for the Thursday delivery. She didn't hesitate to say no, didn't pause, just "I can't change the price" .. Well, I'm done again with LKQ and I will be telling everyone I know about my experience and how they lie and treat customers. No, my dollars won't hurt them. But I will not promote them to anyone either. ** UPDATE** The part did show up 08-10-2020 at 12:45..And what is this?? The invoice date was ..yup you guessed it, 08-10-2020...The driver even said they loaded him that morning..So, it appears I was lied to by not only Tammy Smith, But also the (doubtful) manager I spoke with on 08-07-2020.. And, I paid the additional money for nothing.. All I can say, If you're expecting a delivery from them..buyer beware, and don't count on the date they give you.. ** One more update, 09-02-2020 and I will give credit, where credit is due. I was contacted by someone in management a few days after this review was posted. He listened to my complaint, asked what he could do to change my mind and actually followed through. So, I will try them again (with a new sales rep) and put them to the test. Hopefully, the problem resides in one sales rep, we shall see.

I called the 2401 US-23, Jenkinsburg, GA 30234 location at approx 8:30 am August 30 2019. The man who answered the phone was extremely rude and I guess he saw my area code and stated they only service local customers. I saw that they had the parts I needed online, and when I told the man what I needed he banged on the keyboard and said they dont have any in stock and quickly hung up before I could say another word. I tried calling three more times and he would pick up and hang up right away. Finally I transferred to the accountant which she transferred me to a very pleasant woman to assist me. She was respectful and magically, 15 minutes after the first call with Mr Rude, she found the parts I needed and they were even onhand. I spent approx $1000 on parts, I would expect someone in customer service to actually be courteous. Whoever this man is, he is not your strongest employee and his future with your company should be reviewed.

I came here expecting my part to be ready they day before my car is supposed to be fixed. I spoke to Ann she assured me they would be ready. I drove 45 min from Atlanta because I needed it the very next day. Instead they tell me the order was switched out by someone in the back. I didn't get a call to let me know they weren't going to have my part ready. I believe they are all prejudice ?

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Call ahead to have the part requested pulled and ready. This is not a pick and pull so they pull the parts for you. Most parts are reasonably priced but I think batteries are a bit over priced since can get a new one at Wal-Mart for just a little more. Same to be said about used big block, can pick up a new one at Summit for close to same.
