Sketchy company. Went to help a friend pick up her car. They required payment in cash only and demanded more than is legal in the state of the Georgia for an impound. Charged $270 for a 5 mile tow of a small car that they had less than 5 hours. Changed price from initial phone call after first stating they had no record of the vehicle. Then refused to provide a receipt of payment. It is also well hidden in the middle of nowhere down a dirt road. Man was extremely rude and just downright menacing. If you are a woman, do not go there to retrieve your vehicle alone. Highly unethical towing operation.
Waited an hour and a half after the meetup time. Was charged a no key fee yet my key was in my vehicle. They add on extra fees for nothing. The cops towed my car after I was rear ended and had to take an ambulance to the hospital yet the car was still good to drive.
I'm not sure who some of the other people that had a bad experience talked to but the guy that I dealt with could not have been any more nice and went out of his way to help me out. I can only speak for my one personal experience but this is probably the best experience I've had with a towing company.
Call my roadside they sent out the owners son to pull me out of the woods he got stuck on his way in called another truck to pull him out then left with me still stuck in the woods when Icalled I was lied to and told they were getting a snatch truck to come pull me out this was at 5pm its now 7:31 pm and I'm still stuck in the woods because this company abandoned me do not use them or gata towing they own that as well they will leave you stranded
Man, my neighbor was in a small fender bender. They towed her car 5 miles. Went to get it out and the guy wanted $470. Not even a flatbed tow. Was nice enough to let me get her stuff outta the car. Bit waaay over priced. One day on lot. No flatbed tow. Shoulda been about $250.
Poor service not trustworthy at all. Denies that damage was done to towed vehicle even with photo evidence just minutes after leaving the Richmond Hill yard.
If I could give zero stars, I would! My car was towed here after an accident and the driver provided me a form, told me the car would be in Pembroke to gather my stuff the next day. The next morning I drive there and my car was not there. I called the owner who informed me the truck was at his other yard in Richmond Hill. He asked if I had made arrangements to make sure someone was there. I told him that his number was the only number I had. He said ok, we set arrangements to meet and my insurance set a pick up time of 1:00pm. No one showed up, after 30 minutes of waiting I called again with no answer. I called multiple times until he answered and said his driver was leaving Hinesville. I waited an additional 45 minutes before leaving . My insurance company tried to pick up the vehicle at 1 and no one was there. I rescheduled to pick my stuff up with Lawrence again he did not show up and gave me the same story if his driver leaving Hinesville. I called him after waiting an hour and he yelled at me and stated that we weren’t getting anything out of the vehicle and the vehicle wasn’t being picked up and hung up. I called back and he said he doesn’t know what to tell me he can run his business however he wants to and I’m not getting anything. I have still yet to get my vehicle or belongings.
They said they couldn't help me AND couldn't tell me who could. Found THE BEST WRECKER SERVICE- HENDRIX AUTO RECOVERY and was taken care of very well. When we drove by Raulerson's their tow trucks were sitting there. The owner said they were in Gainesville and jesup.
The man that answers the phone is extremely rude. My car was towed on the 4th because I didn’t have a way to show insurance. He would let my brother get my babies formula or kids clothes and shoes or anything we needed. He wouldn’t let me pick up my car the next day so he charge me for 3 days.
Called to see if my car was there after my wreck told him i needed my military gear and personal affects out he rasied his voice and said hell no not until i get paid you wont touch your car
Gentleman was extremely rude on the phone when answering questions. Raised his voice to me when asked when he could come help. Told me, he didn't know if he could come today, later today, or tomorrow because "he didn't know what was going to come up". I wanted a simple tow job done, cash in hand, and because of his lack of respect, he missed out.
