Spent all of last week calling just trying to get an answer. Got an answer the other day and they said they had what I needed but don’t ship (which I find odd cause numerous people are talking about shipping in their review) so I found a friend in the area to pick up for me 2 days later and no w the car is mysteriously crushed. Like why the hell didn’t you tell me that before I went through all the hassle of finding someone to pick up? You told me they were pulled and available then 2 days later the whole car is crushed? Sounds to me like they have no idea what they’re talking about.
I recently made a call to inquire about a part, and I found the female owner to be very rude and unprofessional. Her lack of business etiquette was evident. I simply asked a straightforward question about the part's condition but she became upset and abruptly hung up.
Tremendously rude service, they will give you wrong information and then act like they never did hanging on the phone on you! Not trustworthy, poor service and very bad communication
The owner and personnel of this establishment are very rude! The lady who answers the phone first provides me with a quote INCLUDING SHIPPING (as I clearly confirmed we need it in Miami, FL) confirming she will send an email with the order request form, she never sends it and when I call back to confirm what she had said already she claims she doesn't understand and hangs the phone being rude. Then the owner proceeds to act the same way and not even apologize for giving wrong information. Very disrespectful, they will hang up the phone on you and not care about your order
Went and bought a door for a Jeep Cherokee. Receipt said it was for a silver one with only 1 minor dent in it. Took them 3 weeks to pull and when I received the door it was white with a completely cut up wiring harness. Will never take my business here again.
Ordered a shifter assembly for an Aerostar that was listed on car-part, couldn’t believe these guys even had it as it’s a super rare part. Had no hassles and the part came in faster than I expected! The shifter has been rebuilt and works fine, would definitely order from these guys again.
Has stuff you would need but might want to have them check and make sure the part you're after is actually there. Online inventory has a good chance of being wrong. Otherwise I'm sure they can help most people fine.
Was not pleasant. A part that took 45mins to hour to take off took 8rs to get off. As long as i called the place they were just stalling so i showed up there in i still had to wait 2 1/2 hours there to get it
I called them on Tuesday evening and said that I wanted the transmission for my expedition, but anyway I called again yesterday and asked if they had it ready for me,they say I never told him to get it ready so they tell that it's going to be ready between 4-5 so I drive to cochran ga from ft.valley to get it, but it's never been pulled. So I brought them the core and 450 dollars for the transmission, but I wasn't told about the taxes, then I am told that I would have it delivered to my place by noon today and here it is 2:04 PM and I still don't have my transmission or anyone letting me know about it. They say I still need to pay the 36 dollars when delivered, but I'm sorry I don't feel like I owe them anything. Every day I am not mobile and I can't get back and forth to work I'm losing money
Very poor customer service. I purchased and installed a transmission which was no good. Within the same week of the transmission being delivered and installed I notified Hon's Automotive that the part was no good. I asked for the transmission to be warrantied because they told me there was a 30 day warranty when I ordered the part. It also states this on the invoice that I signed. For four months I was told there would be another transmission dropped off and the bad transmission taken away. This never happened. I have used many junk yards. This is by far the most unprofessional and dishonest experience I have ever had with a junkyard or any business.
These guys are so awesome completely love them when I say they had my back everywhere else I called they just didn’t have the part they actually worked with me to find the part I needed and for a great price if I could give them 10 stars I would y’all rock !!!

Poor customer service, an poor quality on parts. Was told the motor came with a warranty and ran great, however that was not true. Now they won't stand by their word on warranty.
Bought a motor here, was reassured several times it was ran before pulling and that I ran great Had to replace the injector in order for it to crank once installed. Injector will not freeze in 2 days from test run to install date.
Oil pressure is below 20psi and slowly drops off, was told to have it towed or drive it more than an hour away with no tow fee reimbursement for them to "check it out". They did give me the oil pump after arguing back and forth that that would damage the motor if driven. They have tow truck, dont understand why if their product was bad, why they wouldnt come pick it up themselves.
When beginning to pull this motor back out to change the oil pump, noticed puddle of antifreeze coming from freeze plug. Was told this isnt warrantied, and no labor is warrantied
250$ out and more than double the original labor time, with no willingness from business to correct the issues.
I have ASE certifications among others, and more than 12 years of diagnostic experience and am small business owner as well.
Would not recommend buying any motors here. If you're not willing to make it right, dont be in business.
Me and my family just returned from our Labor Day weekend at Cocoa Beach. We might not have made it to our destination if not for the great folks at Hons. Map Quest had me on Macon Hwy last Friday afternoon and my SUV threw the serpentine belt.
Miles away from nowhere I knew I had to get my vehicle off of the road fast. I was in panic mode when we ended up in front of Hons Automotive. I pulled into their parking lot a half hour before closing on the Friday of a Holiday weekend. I'm sure these folks were looking forward to getting home after another long week but the staff couldn't have been nicer. The owner Butch Hon himself took the time to look at my vehicle to determine the problem and then started calling around to local parts houses and dealerships trying to find the right serpentine belt.
It wasn't an easy find and he must have spent 20 minutes on two different phones at one point cross-referencing numbers to find a belt that would work. He finally tracked one down that would work and it was 20 minutes from their shop. He sent his son Ethan Hon who also works there out to get the belt and when Ethan got back he fixed our SUV and got my family back on the road.
The whole time we were at Hons they really made my little family feel welcome. That meant
a lot, especially during such a stressful time. One of the staff stayed over to talk with us. Melissa was great and she even gave us her phone number in case we had any other issues. Thank you, Melissa.
In total, we were at Hons for around 2 1/2 hours and they had us back on our way. There are a lot of places that would have taken advantage of our situation and charged us an arm and leg for the emergency repairs, but not these folks. It was an honest charge for the service.
I can't tell you what this meant to me. These folks were a real blessing during a very stressful event. I had my family far from home but Butch Hon and his family made us feel safe and they took care of strangers like they’d known us for years. There are still a lot of good people in this world and I met a few of them in the town of Cochran Georgia.
Just gonna warn everyone... do NOT do business with Hon's Automotive in Cochran, Ga.
We called last Thursday to see if they had an alternator and air compressor for my car and they said they did and it was on the shelf ready for pick up. When we arrived on Friday to pick it up, we were given the wrong alternator and told that the air compressor was gonna be a few days because they had to get it off of a car (exact opposite of what he said on the phone). Said he'd have it off first thing Monday morning. Well, then hurricane Irma came so they weren't open (understandable). This morning at 8 Am we called to see if he'd have the parts today and he said they'd be waiting on me when I got here... so I drove to Cochran and arrived at Hon's about 11:15 and he told me that he had to pull the alternator off this car this time and says that the air compressor is on the shelf... So I've been sitting here waiting for almost two hours for an alternator to be pulled off of a car. And you should know, that I paid for both parts Friday so they're paid for I just can't seem to get them in my hands... angry is an understatement.
