We were helping family clear out their property and came across Riley and his team—super helpful, friendly, and just all-around lovely to work with. Their prices were very fair too.
We brought in a load of scrap metal—aluminum, a bit of copper, and some large appliances like washers, dryers, and fridges. Some items were stripped down properly, others weren’t, but Riley priced everything fairly based on what we had.
Honestly, the whole team was awesome—super friendly and willing to help however they could.
Pro tip: try to get there before 4:30—that’s basically last call. Lol.

When you call before u go up their and ask them if they have this part for ur truck, they tell you yes come on and pick it up
Then you drive all the way their to go pick it up, they tell you that they don't have the part
Well I got there at 445 on a tuesday.. guy said he was already closed. Wudnt be back till Thurs. Shud change ur hours then.. people that have a Lil metal to scrap proly also don't have gas money to be wasting. Good day
I had an oppurtunity to get a boat trailer but 2 older jet skis came with it. I called and they said bring em we will take them. So nice people and no one in valdosta wanted these watercraft, I am so grateful for this help
The website lists 30 cents per pound for aluminum cans as of 2yrs ago. Today my daughter and I were only given 20 cents per pound. It may not be much to some, but it means a lot for those of us struggling through this pandemic. Every penny counts when we're having a rough time getting by, especially being a single parent with a special needs chiId. I honestly feel he was being biased due to us not being from this area/state, unless he was just taking advantage of me & my daughter. I feel very hurt and mislead. I just asked my neighbor who's from this area how much he was given. He was given 35 cents a pound a couple of weeks ago. It makes me very sad how some ppl can be.
I was A little iffy when I read the reviews, but he had the part I needed. I went there and I didn't think there was anything wrong with the place. Sure it was A little Dirty, but its a Junk yard. Had to pull the part myself, but I didn't mind because I like doing that stuff. the price for the part was reasonable as well. So I am VERY Satisfied! I would recommend to everyone, and probably will go back myself if I ever need a part again.
If I could give a negative 10 I would. These guys are Scam Artists I had an accident with my motorcycle less then 10 miles from there shop they charged my insurance company$475 for a towing bill and $125 in storage fees. Clearly price gouging. The insurance company had a second towing company tow it from Riley's to the repair shop they traveled from Douglas Ga to Nashville Ga then towed it 5 miles and the bill was less then $200. I will never use or refer anyone to Riley's Automotive.
So I stopped by this past weekend and found a few things for my truck that I have been looking for. I didnt have tools, but it was on my way to town so I figured I looked. Heard nothing but great things about this Riley guy. Well today I came with tools and this "cool" guy told me in my face that he didnt have anything to fit my truck. I told him that he did and where they were, then asked if I can look anyway. He clearly said no. All in all I wasted time and gas to go out of town and visit this place with high hopes only to be lied to. Whatta douche!
