This is a special place and great for photos, especially if you are 50-plus. I saw my first car and many others related to my family. It is overpriced for what you see. But it is great for pictures.

Cool motorcycle ride and I just love junk yards to begin with playing in them when I was a kid so I love this place.

I agree with this review. Its so sad that theyre letting these cars rot and calling it a "museum".. why bother collecting hundreds of antiques to let them go to waste like this?? Many of these cars could have been restored.

This place is GREAT if you are an old car enthusiast. Plan on alot of walking. When we went, we methodically went up and down every row not to miss anything. We walked for 4.5 hours non-stop. Would 10/10 recommend!!

My review is not based on a current visit. Mine is based on a visit i had almost 20 yrs ago when the original owner was actively selling and salvaging parts as it should be. I walked every acre digging thru the trees in search of what we came for and even ended up leaving with a 72 chevelle ss. I would tell people about it, I would almost brag that I knew where this place was. I can find it on a map with my eyes closed. Then to realize 20 yrs later they are not selling anything anymore and absolutely letting beautiful relics go to waste and rot for the excuse of a "museum", that is truly terrible. In this day and age even the rustiest rust bucket can be salvaged and renovated. It's sick to see the greed and laziness.. An American travesty. If ur going to save it in the name of history then at least turn the undergrowth, keep the leaves blown off and cut the weeds. ??♀️??♀️ Not impressed. 0 stars.

What a tourist trap. $30.00 a head to get in? I am a die hard car guy and this place just angered me. What is salvageable is not for sale and sadly things that may have been good at some point is just rotting back to the ground. A hoarders paradise that could be saving classics.

You know the old saying --"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". That definitely held true today as my brother and I toured Old Car City in Cartersville, GA. I know some of you are going to look through these photos and say, "Good grief, this is nothing more than a junkyard?". And in some respects, you may be right. But this place is so much more than a resting place for rusting relics of the past. It is a museum of Americana in the form of steel, chrome, glass and upholstery. It is a cathedral of art from designers and craftsmen who have passed on to eternity. It is an homage to the machines that developed from simplistic transportation into high-powered expressions of individual freedom and luxury. Instead of the soulless mishmash of styles and trends we have today, automobiles from yester-year made a statement even when standing motionless; even when silently awaiting a turn of a key and a burble from an exhaust pipe. My, how times have changed -- most for the better from the standpoint of safety, economy and environmental impact. But oh how the eye of art has been clouded with mediocrity. If you consider yourself an automobile afficenado, you MUST make a pilgrimage to Old Car City. Please go and pay your respects to the lost age of style, beauty and flamboyance. But don't expect to dash in, snap a few photos and say that you had seen it all because (get ready for this) if you travel down every lane, alley, trail, twist and turn, you will have walked 7 MILES amongst thousands of the grandest man-made art forms on the face of earth.

This place is AMAZING. It rained the whole time we were there, but it was still cool. My wife loves old cars too, but not as much as I do. My buddies and I could easily spend a couple of days out there looking at and talking about cars. Try to plan for a whole day there. We did cut it short because of the rain, but it was still a blast.

Was an interesting and unique place to stop. Had a real great time. Highly recommend. Make sure you get a little memento from the gift shop.

For a 15th straight year a group of us went out on our autumn Annual Auto Museum Adventure. We had intended to tour Florida this year but based on concerns tied to the recent hurricanes we opted to focus on Georgia instead. It was the second day of our travels when we paused for breakfast at "Wes-Man's Restaurant" directly across Highway 411 from "Old Car City". It was while we were enjoying our meal that we learned it was Dean Lewis, the owner and artistic genius behind Old Car City, who was tucked inside the booth across from us. And so it was Dean himself who walked us across the highway and welcomed us into his uniquely gifting realm, "Old Car City, USA". Visitors are immediately immersed in the quantity and creativity of Dean's varied and assorted modes of artistic expression. There are the subliminal messages in the 3D die-cast toy art on his walls, his gallery of motivational painted signs, his soda can and green bean can gallery, and of course his accumulation of 1000s of artistically decorated styrofoam cups. Now that he's drawn every pattern and color imaginable on a cup, Dean has started to create new magic with is sculpting of the styrofoam. Wow! One from our group had some trouble getting around so we were able to arrange for Dean's trusty assistant, Mike "Monkey Wrench" to drive us through the stunning trails of the Old Car City forest. Tim went in search of Cadillacs. I had my eyes peeled for Hudsons. All four of us were overwhelmed. On the surface it might seem easy to slip into a mindset of sorrow at the massive neglect of 4400+cars, but within seconds the peaceful tranquility found in the merger of nature and machine becomes beautiful in a unique and somehow magical sort of way. The fact that we were there just a couple of days before Halloween and that the place was decked out in Halloween decor was an extra perk, as if one needs even more haunts when the forest is filled with spiders the size of Chattanooga. The next day we were five miles up the road at the Savoy Auto Museum. One can't imagine a more stark contrast. I would maintain that both museums possess equal beauty of their own brand. Car lovers wouldn't want to miss either. Our thanks to Dean and Mike for making us feel especially welcome in their one of a kind vintage automotive art gallery.

Amazing time there at Old Car City. Definitely worth the price of admission! Bit of advice: if you are scared of spiders, plan to go in colder months when they're presumably gone. The property is loaded with Orb Weavers that hang above you.

First time going spent about 4 hrs walking around, admiring the history, I have a love for old cars. So I don't care if they look new or rusted.

Fantastic place to explore acres of decaying americana! Absolutely worth the visit. Check out the Booth Museum of Western Art in nearby Cartersville.

Such fun. The pathways are clear of debris and the views are endless. We visited for hours and still didn’t see everything. Mike was kind enough to let my doggy Ollie visit too!

One man's trash (or junk cars, in this case) is another man's treasure is an understatement!! This 34-acre junkyard art of over 4000 classic cars is definitely worth visiting. There are rows and rows of antique cars, some staged in very interesting ways. My husband and I arrived around 10:30am and it was almost 2pm before we left!! Plenty photo opportunities. There is a $10 charge for picture taking but don't let that stop you cause there is still plenty to see. And don't forget to check out the Styrofoam Cup Collection...

If you're a photographer and love old and abandoned things like I do you will definitely love this place! Also, as a car enthusiast you will love this place but you'll also be sad at the same time seeing some of the cars that can't be saved. It's 100% worth the stop, the money, and the time to go walk around, it truly feels like you've stepped back in time. There's not many places like this left around, see it while you can, and don't forget to thank the owner for keeping a place like this around for all of us to enjoy!

As a car enthusiast, this place was remarkable to see such a vast collection of vehicles in a picturesque setting. Over 4,400 vehicles and miles of trailers to walk. It is sad to see these vehicles essentially rot away but the idea of them all laid to rest in one area to appreciate was a great idea and we appreciated the effort to curate this venue. Far too easy to scrap and not have anything left but this is like a capsule in time. Thinking about who may have owned these cars, what roads they travelled and what stories they hold over the past 90’s years gave me the goosebumps to think about it. Well worth it. Thank you to the family who first set this local general store up back in the 30’s and had the vision for this

This place is a must see, Lewis was very informative on the unique collection that has been part of his family since 1931. I feel I didn’t see half of it and I spent an hour there. I am looking forward to future visits.

Old Car City USA is a hiking trip down memory lane. We had a great time exploring the many acres of random rusted carnage that is scatter throughout the woods. The trails take you winding through stacks of bikes, mounds of cars and rows of delivery vans. You could spend every day of the year here and find new treasures buried beneath fallen pine needles and leaves. Well worth the entrance fee.

A cool spot to check out and a great place to get fun photos! I could not believe the amount of randomness, but like I said definitely neat and interesting.

It was a gorgeous day to walk around. 32 acres, 45k cars, 7 miles of trails. So worth getting out of the city. Pair it with a visit to Tellus. They also do "Haunted Trails" at night in October.

Drove out of way on a recent RV trip to make this stop. While my wife walked the dogs I went to inquire about price etc. Didn't see any signs regarding price but the gentleman walked out of his office and said it's $20 per person and another $10 per person if you want to take pictures. I honestly thought he was pulling my leg but he was serious. He said there were hundreds of cars along a 7-mile stretch of trails. I was interested, in fact curious, but no way was I paying $60 for my wife and I. Perhaps I would change my rating had I seen signs listing the prices etc., but I just got the impression this guy was conning me.

Cool place to visit and have a nice quiet walk. Lots of cool old vehicles to look at, a little sad knowing they will just sit there and rot but it is what it is. Also there is a spot where you can spray paint some cars, they leave cans out there for you. My kid liked it.

One of the coolest car stops I've ever made. Could only stay 2 hours, wasn't near enough time. Next trip I'm planning to spend the day taking it all in.

This place is truly one of a kind, from the moment you walk in you are greeted with excitement and enthusiasm, it's like the owner is just as excited for you to see what's in store as you are! Kind and friendly he showed us around the main "office" and then off we went! I can't even begin to describe this place with words. You really just have to see it for yourself. We didn't budget enough time so we will ? be back. And next time I'll be bringing my art supplies with me #ifyouknowyouknow

Old Car City in white, Georgia is the world's largest old car junkyard! 34 acres with more than 4,000 old cars(1972 and old). 6.5 miles of trails on 34 acres. Cars date back as far back as the 1920s. Packards, Edels, Fords, Chevrolets to name a few! Enjoyed the beautiful vegetation of the deep south that is interwined with the hundreds of cars that reside in Old Car City. Many of the cars are mossy or half-buried in pine needles and leaf litter. Some have been lifted into the air by the trees that grew beneath them. Others have roots and branches erupting out of the engine compartments, trunks, and radiator grills. If you love walking and love cars(both old or new), you should try visiting this place. Feel the world shifting gears from metal to plastic ?.

Love it. I could have spent all day here, but I wanted to beat the rain. Absolutely killer spot for photoshoots, but you do have to pay a fee to do so.

We had a ball! If you like strolling in the woods, taking pictures for the Gram and looking at old cars then you’ll love this place. I don’t particularly like cars but my beau does so I brought him here. It was really cool to see the cars and old junk that they have arranged into artistic expressions calling out to be posed next to. The manager was very friendly and pointed out some highlights for us like Elvis last car, the doodal room (wow) and he turned on the waterfall in the garden for us. Cool place & friendly folks. Make sure you wear sneakers (the trails are through the woods), spray yourself with deep woods off, give yourself a couple of hours to explore and bring cash. Social distancing wasn’t an issue there’s plenty of space to spread out. Enjoy!!!

Wondering thur Rust & Rot Overall it’s was a very fun experience, if u love old cars it’s a must! But it’s 35 acers supposedly 6 miles of trails some not even passable heavily wooded areas in places no maps given u pay the price go in & just wonder what seems endlessly thur the woods I used the cars as landmarks lol thought about leaving bread crumbs 2 navigate so we didn’t cover the same areas but u can get lost if so their r signs pointing 2 the exits. It took us all day 2 trips had 2 come out 2 get water bring water alot of water not 2 much only bathroom is @ the front of the property where u come in,bug spray & have some comfortable shoes alot of walking I divided the property into 2 half’s is so big! 2 me it was wasteful but an amazing site 4000 cars & trucks from the 30s,40s,50s,60s rotting away would have been nice 2 see some of them restored cause of alot them still have good usable parts complete interiors dash steering wheels if possible but some r 2 far gone got trees growing thur them neat how Mother Nature takes back @ the end everything goes back 2 the dirt! Property needs to be maintained some of the cars u can’t even see no more because the trees, bushes and everything has taken the vehicles over! Better lay out the trials design a map hell tag the trees! Would of been cool for if u had atv r utv r even golf carts 2 rent for the trails. Whole sections of vintage caddy’s big fins| Chevy,Ford,Dodge trucks seen a 5 window | Bel Airs| Hudson| De Soto| Plymouth’s u name it & yep u guess it all rotting away!! So many hood ornaments, emblems & badges some Ive never seen before & ive been 2 alot of swap meets & antique stores malls collecting. 2bad he doesn’t sell anything

Talk about a hidden gem. I lived in White, GA for 10 years before going here and was amazed once I did. Imagine several miles of good hiking trails lined with thousands of rusting old cars and a touch of southern charm/humor and you basically have this place nailed. Lots of great pictures to be had (although they charge you extra on the "honor" system if you plan to take pictures). Some of the trails are more well worn than others, so parts can be a little rough going for a stroller. Go have breakfast/lunch at the local diner Wes Mans across the way before/after for a delightful day.
