Great place and people. If you're planning on visiting although it's not posted here they do close at 3:30pm during the summer due to excessive heat. It's posted on the door however that does no good for you if you've broken the sound barrier and a few local laws getting there at 4:20 PM to find out it was all for not!

This place doesn't answer the phone past 4:15 pm. The general public knows little scrapping any metal. I would think that somebody would have still answered the phone as the website says they close at 4:30 pm. Don't understand why any business would close early. I don't they lie about the weight I cared a 5 gallon bucket of copper wire there today and there soon said it weighted 9 pounds well that is a lie but u.do yall can not get out of your vehicle so they can say what they want to. She didn't even give back my bucket.how many people would think a 5 gallon of clean copper wire only weighted 9 pounds.

schnitzer steel take your aluminum cans there 99 cent a pound. In macon Vs 70 cent a pound here don't let them jip you that's 29 cent per pound difference so if you got enough cans saved up it's worth the drive and extra gas
