Outstanding customer service from Aaron C. at AutoZone in Pearson, GA.
While traveling from Florida to Georgia to visit family, I ran into an unexpected issue with my car. Just before leaving Florida, I had my alternator replaced, but the mechanic didn’t properly secure the passenger side wheel well guard. After about an hour on the interstate, it burned through and came loose, dragging under my car.
I pulled into AutoZone hoping someone might be able to take a quick look and possibly cut away the damaged piece so I could safely continue my trip. Aaron C. stepped in right away. He got down on the ground, cut away the damaged section, and even secured the remaining guard with zip ties so it wouldn’t cause any more issues.
When I apologized for him having to get down on the ground and get dirty, he simply said, “If I go home clean, I’m not doing my job.”
In a world where it’s sometimes hard to find people willing to go the extra mile, Aaron C.’s kindness and work ethic really stood out. Thank you, Aaron and AutoZone, for helping me get back on the road safely. God bless.
Play traveled all over Pearson and Douglas area looking for a starter the cheapiest one was at AutoZone Mrs Rae and Shane was the best customer service help we had it was fast curious and very cheap they got me a whole oil change hook up we will definitely recommend these folks for all ur car needs
Aaron was a great help today. On our way home to Florida and he assisted by scanning engine, no charge to find possible cause. Courteous and professional staff. Thank you!
Im giving s 5 star rating just because they always have what i need. But there is only one employee in the entire store that knows what they are doing, and that is the commercial manager Shane. He knows what he is doing, he helps customers when they need help, and he doesn’t make the customer feel bad by giving them dirty looks and walking away.
The store manager acts like she would rather be anywhere else but doing her job. On multiple occasions of me being in the store i have observed her talking on her phone while customers are needing help laughing and carrying on with whoever is on the phone. Not to mention i have over heard her reprimanding other employees for stuff she does. She has given me dirty looks on multiple occasions and just walked away while a new hire was helping me and the poor guy was struggling with finding the part i needed. And then when we were figuring it out together, and he turned the screen towards me, she pushed him out of the way and turned the screen back while i was making sure it was the right part.
The new district manager doesn't seem like he is the right fit either. Reprimanding workers who have been there for years for stuff that was never an issue before.
Overall my time in the store has been great. I definitely think there should be a change in store/district management tho, before the store starts losing customers. I will definitely be doing my dealings with shane tho.
AutoZone Pearson not my air filter in stock good location good help hope thay keep them. Forget Amazon get real parts get what you pay which wasn't to high here. Made may useless drive to Valdosta halfway worth it.
Nary a soul in there wants to work except for one guy. I just drive to Douglas oreily’s instead, they have more stuff and everyone is way nicer, no ego. If you knew more than me you wouldn’t be behind an auto parts counter, Jack

It's ok I would suggest the old carquest now a advanced auto parts the people there are more helpful better prices more parts that are relevant to what you need
