This place has stunning European antiques. I found myself walking around multiple times just to take everything in. The experience was wonderful from the moment we walked in; the gentleman greeted us so kindly. I’ll definitely come back if I’m ever in town again.
Incredibly organized and clean store. There were some amazing finds here. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I would absolutely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
This is a FANTASTIC antique store. Amazing pieces that are priced “reasonably” considering their origin and substance. Some trinkets available for the average person as well. Expect to see a lot of stunning old world stuff in here.
Phenominal antique store!! Specializes in old European furniture, but a lot of knick knacks for thise that prefer smaller things.
If you are looking for unreasonable cheap, this place is not for you. If you like authenticly old European pieces, it is the best I have seen.
We went there yesterday with our two babies in a double-stroller, there was an elevator to go upstairs (we didn't even expect that). We come to Florida in winter and I wish we lived closer so we could buy some furniture pieces. The owners were very knowledgable and had a great taste, as a European I really appreciated that. We learnt that they ship all the items from Provence, France and we couldn't believe how beautiful things were. We bought an Scottish antique bible from the 1800s and a darling tall terracotta pot. We will definitely be back! The best experience.
Super nice staff with super well arranged items. Some of the most unique and beautiful items we have seen. This is NOT your average antique store with more items focused around imports from France. The prices of the items reflect that - as some were very high. Not our cup of tea - but regardless very beautiful items.
Most of their items are larger items - like massive pots for planting, huge antique door and cabinets, amazing copper and bronze pots/pan, massive window panes a really cool geologic section.
THERE IS AN UPSTAIRS! So don’t forget about that either!
If we lived here and had the budget - this would be a great outfitter for a beach house / cottage core home!
Like all antique stores, inventory will change all the time. Was there today and not much there for me. Next time, the store may be full of what I like. Everyone has different taste. Staff was very nice and it is a two story building. Only saw stairs so people with mobility issues may have to ask the desk for any items you have in mind that could be upstairs.
Have visited 'Antiques On Holiday' a few times over the years. Huge warehouse. Impressed with their offerings of exquisite furniture, art, lighting, mirrors, mantles, china, antiques, and more. This is what an antique store is meant to be. You won't find home decor from hobby lobby here. Top quality antiques on both floors, with prices from a few dollars to thousands for their high end European pieces. Carve out at least an hour to spend looking around this awesome collection of Antiques.
A wonderful antique store to visit in Destin! The quality and quantity of European antiques are amazing to see in a tourist spot like Destin. It’s fun to come in and browse for ideas, admire the construction and craftsmanship and hunt upstairs for a thrifty bargain. I highly recommend this store for a custom home builder looking for something special and unique. I wish I had the money (and space) for one of those massive tables!
Really nice and kind employees! We were greeted so kindly the second we walked through the door with our baby . They have real antiques that are very unique! No junk ! Please do yourself a favor and skip the antique store smiths and come straight here ! We were treated like garbage at that other shop and I was ready to go home and we tried Antiques on Holiday and I was so happy I shopped twice before heading back to Atlanta! Their homemade soaps smell amazing! I bought 7! What a cool shop even if you just stop by for inspiration :) thank you!
One of the most unique antique shops I have ever visited. Like traveling to Europe without leaving home. Many items were large in nature and not fit for the tourist but enjoyed my visit.
This place is like a museum. Great collection. A lot of historical and antique pieces. Lots of French antiques. Worth the visit... even to just take a look.
Great antique shop! They have gorgeous chandeliers, beautiful paintings and botanicals and fabulous mirrors! They also have a unique selection of architectural salvage pieces as well as antique furniture. The prices are fair too.
Antiques on Holiday is one of the best antique stores on the Emerald Coast. Trevor is one of the many staff that is both knowledgeable and friendly! Many vendors to shop from and most are willing to negotiate on prices! Customer for life!
Great shop with an eclectic mix of items. Lots of beautiful framed oil paintings, taxidermy, and glass work. It's all actual antiques- not shabby chic replicas. I love the dark dusty feel of the place, I feel like I'm discovering the stuff around each corner. A must visit!
The best antique store on the emerald coast, from France and Belgium come some of the most incredible pieces of clothing/art/jewelery/furniture and everything else in between. Some real treasures and historically significant artifacts almost. Fancy a Victorian era outfit, everyday wear or theatrical. The list goes on and on and on. The staff are happy and eager to assist you in anything you need. Trevor is a huge history buff and studies up on everything new that comes through the door. Be sure to check out the upstairs room as well, it is just as Incredible, from the mirror wall to the nautical booth, you will constantly be impressed and in awe. Look no further than antiques on holiday for a fantastic shopping or just browsing experience.
This is a Must Stop as it is one of the coolest laid out antique stores we have ever been in. We enjoy antiquing all around the world, but this stores style will blow your mind. With that being said there are not many items in the lower budget category. Highly Recommended for a good look around, but wouldn't imagine too many people leave with a lot.
