Enjoyed alot. Linda the owner is awesome. They are opening the restaurant at office this month. Clean pool and grounds thanks to the awesome maintenance guys. And also very quiet and love the bay being so close.

After seeing some of the reviews I was a bit sceptical... But we had no problems there. Site was big enough ....there was acceptable room Between sites. We asked for a picnic had it in 5 minutes. Staff was very friendly.. bathrooms clean, pool clean ,nice sitting area .And near plenty of parks and water to enjoy

This place was amazing! The only downfall was how hard it was getting in and out of the spots with such little space. Roadway needs to be a bit wider for larger campers/fifth wheels. Other than that it was beautiful.

The person who checked us in was curt. Our spot given us was not the one my husband requested. She became agitated when he said we had to have a different one. She raised her voice at me when I told her this was not what we needed. When he called to make the reservation, my husband explained that we had been there before and that he was blind in one eye, so he requested a site that was easier for him and since we were doing an overnightstay, one that was long enough so we didn't have to unhook. The lady said...no problem. But the site given us was a problem. The sewage line was in the middle, ours is at the end...we were only staying overnight (last year we stayed a week)...we would have had to unhook to stay in that sight, and we were not going to do that. We were given a more suitable site...under duress. NOTE: We have been camping 20+ years and have never had to change a reserved site...unless we requested it and as long as it didn't cause additional problems. The reservation was made by Kenneth McIntyre.

Tight spots. Very iffy WI-FI. Very old cable system. Didn't work at all. Traveling with friends. Asked to be moved next to them. Told spot was reserved. 3 transients stayed there 1 and 2 nights. Otherwise spot was vacant all month. Very dissapointed about that. Have stayed here in the past. Park has made a few improvements and raised price. We paid $711 wich includes added electric charge. Don't feel park is worth the price.

This is an excellent location choice for us. The park is clean, and quiet. Everything we need is within a short drive at most. ALL employees are very helpful and cordial. This has exceeded our expectations. We came in for a trial basis and have just fallen love with this park and wouldn't dream of relocating. My husband is in a wheelchair....the handicapped accommodations are perfect for us. With both of us retired we have a lot of time in our hands, this area has quite a biy available. If your looking for a short or long stay don't pass this by!!!!

Updated review 5/25/23. Panacea RV park is a special place. Overlooked by many, bypassed by some, disliked by a few and loved by many others including my wife and myself. The owner has gone to tremendous lengths to grow and improve the park. She works harder than any person that works for her that's for sure trying to make the park nice for everyone - and spends lots of money doing so. Linda and Stephanie will break their backs to take care of you - oh, and Addie, Stephanie's puppy is a joy. All the new sites are 50/30A with all new facilities feeding them. The wifi has been upgraded and works well. Pool is beautiful and even has a handicap lift. Restrooms are kept clean as well as the grounds. Frank does a great job of taking care of everything around the park and keeps the shrubs/flowers happy. The folks that live in the park are great people and would give you the shirts off their backs. The bay is right there and park visitors regularly bring in nice catches of fish. If you don't fish there are two fresh seafood stores in the small village. Close to Tallahassee (45minutes) and Crawfordville (Walmart and other stores - 15minutes). Quiet and peaceful which is what we enjoy. The area has many miles of trails you can walk, bicycle or e bike! Those trails (my wife) prompted us (me) to buy 2 new e bikes this past winter and it's a blast. If you are in the area or passing through I would highly recommend giving the park a try. There are others close by; been in all of them and stayed in a few. We have chosen this park because it fits us - everyone has their own idea of what they like and we chose Panacea RV Park.

Many permanent residents. Crowded and cluttered. I believe the electricity in my location had issues. I had lights flickering, air conditioner cycling and an alarm on refrigerator. I assumed it was our RV. Contacted a Mobile repair service. However, no issues before this location or at my next location. We have to assume the problem was at the RV park.

We had a great stay. Beautiful spot in florida close to crawfordville for groceries, 50 mins from tallahassee and a few street side fresh seafood spots. All residents were nice and respectful, met some great people and the owner is a sweetheart. We hope to come back eventually :)

We have been staying at the park for a little over 5 weeks now. Everything has been perfect from day one, neighbors have been nice, laundry and pool in great condition. Stephanie has been absolutely amazing. She’s made the stay so easy and flawless for us. I have extended our stay a few times and she’s always in the office ready to help when I need it.

I have lived here quite a few months. Stephanie and Linda are wonderful people. It's quiet here. My home was destroyed by hurricane Michael. I love it here and so does my dog Tigger. So many nice people! I recommended this place on RV living Facebook.

Wow Email Me is Olivia that left 2 years ago! I have to laugh at your review since Racheal wasn't working here when you were here. Sounds like someone told you to write a review from Bolder Colorado. LOL This is pretty funny. But sad that you felt it would be ok to post lies on here. Then again I read your other reviews and the McDonald one is really a bully, racist and hateful review of people. Sorry I had to report that to Google. It was that bad. Anyhow folks this is a great campground with more sites, new pool, working on opening a restaurant in near future. Linda the owner is a really nice person. Stephanie works in the office and will answer the phones and call you back. I've seen her take people to their sites in pouring rain. So don't believe Olivia's "EMAIL ME" post. Close to beaches, bike path, places for people who love nature.

Though the location was good for us, really remote part of FL, yet close to the shore, groceries, fishing supplies, etc. We had a few problems w th place. The police where there, twice durning our brief stay. Seemed like the park was occupied by many full time, seedy people. We also had a few run-ins with Stephanie, one of the receptionist. Horribly rude & unprofessional. The owner Linda, lies & both of them together can not be trusted. So be aware!!! However as far as their staff, there was another lovely woman who was the only one who made our visit pleasant. I think her name was Rebeca or Racheal. In conclusion, we would not stay there again. Keep on moving fellow RV-ers.

Had a great time at the park. Owner has put a lot of upgrades in the park. The new pool is quite nice. The women's bathroom could be a bit cleaner. Thank you, Rachel for helping us make a other reservation.

Awesome little place tucked away here. We come here 3 times a year for about two weeks a trip and it is always clean, always being maintained, and the staff and campers are super friendly and extremely accommodating. These people put forth serious effort in their campground and it shows

Great hidden gem! The staff is super friendly, and Stephanie and her fur baby Addie are absolute delights. A special shout out to Frank, he worked super hard maintaining the Park. We loved our stay in Panacea and will def be back. Cant wait to see all the improvements they are making.

It's very reasonably priced. They are improving the place, should be nice place. New in-ground pool, they are working on the building up front. Hope they will open the kitchen up front for breakfasts in future. You have to travel 20 minutes or more for a breakfast place. It is a small isolated village on Florida's "Forgotten Coast". Don't have any idea what conditions at restrooms or showers are, since we are in a self-contained RV. All the hook-ups worked, but you need a cable box from office. Was nice bicycling to boat launches one at each end of town, a big tavern and restuarant at marina and around a very small village of Panacea.

The park is being revamped. It was very clean. Stephanie and Bob were very friendly and helpful. We will visit again and will ask to be in the old section. I prefer more shade and to be away from the noisy road. Internet sucks but we dealt with it. Location was ideal. Price was very reasonable. For the lady who complained about bugs ? that's part of nature, not from being dirty or not taking of the park. No see ems, as they are called are kinda like gnats, get over it! We will definitely visit again in the future.

Great location. Lots of improvements being made and projects being completed. The team is welcoming and accommodating, especially Stephanie! The area is peaceful with nearby parks and waterfronts only a 5 min walk away. I'll definitely be back to visit.

We just stayed here a few nights. The park has some new sites that are nice, but of course, we weren't in that area. Ours was not nice at all. Sites were close together, all dirt with a broken picnic table, unusable. Our patio area was in the owner's front yard. I think this park has a lot of people that live there. The owner was nice, told us to check out Apalachicola, and where to park the MH, which helped us a lot. The lady in the office was great. One thing that bothered me was, she photo copied my credit card without asking, when she gave me the cable box to use. When I turned the cable box in, she said she'd tear the copy up, but I would have rather gotten it handed back to me, but I didn't want to be rude. I did see her throw it away..... It should have been shredded. The WiFi was horrible, and we were close to the office. We probably won't stay here again, because when you head down the road, there are some very nice parks. If they are all booked, this would work for a night.

The park is currently growing and being set up beautifully. I'm sure it will be amazing once it's all set up. The area is beautiful and peaceful, with the freshest air. The staff was great! We will definitely be back. Can't wait to see it next time! :)

When I first arrived this guy Dallas owned the property, but since then it has a new owner. Little by little she is fixing the place up. Added a few more sites and planning more sites. The office building was painted on the outside. They have a dog poop sign with a can and bags for you to pick up. I know she has big plans for this park, so check back in a year or so.

We made reservations about 10 days in advance. Linda had difficulty typing in the email to send confirmation. When she finally got it, the email was blank. No problem, they still had us on the books for 50a service and said so upon registering. Nope, 30 amp. We stayed where we were parked and just dealt with not being able to run coffee pot with let’s say heat. Lol The Park is nice and quiet. We didn’t use any facilities to know about cleanliness. Nothing given to us on WiFi, but when I connected my tablet to the phone, there were two options for Panacea. I don’t know if either was for guests. I would stay again for short term. It appears to have long term RVs

I was a little Leary about staying here after reading the reviews. I am so glad I did. We came in a little late on Saturday. Dallas came by and checked on us after we arrived. Dallas was very pleasant. Helped us set up or cable, which Is included in the fee. Only a deposit for the equipment which you get back when you hand it in. My husband plays a guitar and even set up a little fire pit jam session for Friday night. We definitely be back in June.

We paid for a month, which is as good price in the area. Cheaper than the neighbor campgrounds but had to stay door to door with the neighbor, which made it super awkward. Couldn’t be outside enjoying the sunshine without people watching you. Can’t start your vehicle & let it warm up if it’s cold. There are no pooping areas for dogs but yet dogs run free & poop is left everywhere.

My interracial family and i stayed at this park. The owner is a very nice gentleman and seemed to have no problem that we were a white and black family. So to the earlier post there is no race issues here at all. We stayed in our 1988 motorhome and used our pa discount. Very quite and close to natural beauty everywhere. Great place to stop by and spend a few days. :)

Stopped here for a two night stay, nice staff member checked us in. The park is in need of a bit of TLC. Not much to offer here except location. Sites are just dirt which made it muddy from the afternoon rains. If you want cable you have to leave a $50 deposit for a cable box, never came across that before. It is an older place so don't have high standards. A lot of full time residents residing here. The wifi was decent maybe because we stayed near the office.

I wasn't impressed with the park host / maintenance man meeting us at the entrance with an ankle monitor. The sights are jammed on top of each other and sand or grass spaces. We were also right next to the highway so a bit noisy. On the plus side, the bath house was spacious and very clean and the cafe on site was very good. A decent place to stop for the night, but not much more.

If you are looking for the friendliest park in Florida this is it! We stayed about 2 months and loved it. Great people, great rates and they have a cafe that serves breakfast and lunch right at the park! My 1 year old loved walking around the park and just saying hello to everyone and seeing our favorite waitress Wendy!!
