They just towed my car for allegedly being double parked and I know that is false and I asked nicely at first for a picture as proof and I would be right down and pay the 150 to get my car. Now I can't tell if it was a man or woman I talked to by the sound of it's voice very harsh and rude. The lines in the parking lot of the complex are invisible at night and almost the same in the day time. I have called 4 times and that simply refuse to send me picture proof and I will only receive a copy of the printed picture with the receipt after I pay and not before and mind you...cash only. If I was double parked a simple text picture with the violation would have made life so simple for all parties but I got yelled at at told I can get the proof after I pay and get a receipt. They can keep it for a while because I know they don't have a picture of my car double parked and I will make them pay for every loss I incur for my vehicle being illegally in their yard.
Volusia County Towing saved us! We were on the last leg of our 1200 mile trip and blew a bearing, lost a wheel, and bent the axel on our sailboat trailer! My roadside assistance sent a different local wrecker and after waiting 3 hours for them to show up, they said they couldn't help us; it was too risky. Then Volusia County Towing was assigned. I explained the situation to the owner, he told me to leave the boat and trailer, to get my family off the highway, and he guaranteed he could get it. He called at 1AM and said "your vehicle has been delivered". They'd dropped it at a retail location as requested. When I met the retail manager the next morning he said he'd watched the delivery on video surveillance and commented that they were very careful and it was "perfect". There was no further damage to the trailer and it was obvious that the driver had cleaned it up a bit. I would recommend Volusia County Towing to anyone looking for fast, competent, reliable towing service - especially for complex jobs...like moving a one wheel trailer with a boat on it!
Had to get a tow after my car broke down. Driver arrived more quickly than originally projected and was very professional and kind. I believe his name was Nick.
Volusia County Towing is the worst service I have ever dealt with. They towed my teenager’s car and gave her one price on the phone, only to raise it the next day when she called back. Then they demanded cash, clearly taking advantage of young drivers who don’t have many options. When I later called to request a receipt—since they promised to email one but never did—the man on the phone cursed at me and threatened to hang up. It’s obvious they pocket cash to avoid reporting it, which is shady and dishonest business. These are terrible practices, and I don’t know how they can operate this way. I will be reporting them.
He was awesome !! Very professional!! I would recommend him highly. I have AARP and he was at my house within 45 minutes and kept me posted on his way to tow my dodge ram .
After some delay once my insurance company assigned to Volusia County Towing, tow arrived promptly after verifying with insurance. Tow driver was courteous and took care with my vehicle
Quite literally the scammiest company to ever exist. Literally stole our vehicle due to a “flat tire” which presumably was low as it had a small leak but drove daily and was not flat. Cannot get said vehicle back due to fees and being in the hospital WITH CHILD. I don’t how this is even legal. Worst towing company on the face of the planet. Disgusting behavior I can’t wait till this place gets shut down.
Dispatcher was extremely rude to me as the customer and to the insurance agent that called concerning the wait time. My tow went from a40 min wait, to a 3hr wait. I understand the system put in a different address, however it was my next door neighbors house but the car to be towed was at the end of my drive way. After they finally came after about 3hrs, the driver stayed that he saw the car but the address wasn't right. I NEVER recieve a phone call from the tow company which could have prevented the long wait. Again, I don't know who the female dispatcher was, but she was EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!.
The actual towing experience was quick and easy, however, for over a week the insurance company and the service center were confused, as was I, and inconvenienced as no one informed the dealership it was there, it was dropped " at the back" and they had no idea! It took the dealership to contact the tow company to find out where it was towed to where they produced a photo! Miscommunication caused confusion and time and of course a delay of works done for over a week!!
Dan was incredible!! He took GREAT care of my vehicle as if it was his own !! This was a very serious freak car issue that was traumatic to myself. Dan was a godsend in every sense of a bad situation!!!
Experienced driver, very friendly and customer service oriented. At our destination he went inside with us to talk with the shop manager where he could put our vehicle. He is definitely a credit to your business.
Two cars were towed from the same location. One car was picked up by a 20 year old male and he paid $190+. One hour later I picked the second car up and was charged $443. Was told I would be emailed a receipt and never received. Spoke with the manager Aaron Forsman and was told he only has a receipt for $193.50. Either the tow truck driver ripped off an elderly woman for approximately $250 or the company did. I am contacting the news stations and local agencies. If they are so untrustworthy they do not need to have contracts with local businesses to tow cars.
Started out by having an accident. The South Daytona Police Department called them and they arrived with 2 trucks. We only needed one. They pulled the car off the pole and loaded within 7 minutes. They then told me it would be $400 because both trucks arrived. Even though they only needed one. After the officer spoke to them they took it down to $150. Handed me their card and towed it away. They never gave me the break down of cost of having it towed to their lot. According to florida statute they are to tell you all of the extra fees including the Lien Release fee of $250. They never did. I got home and called them to see if I could pick up on a Sunday and they said no problem. When I arrived on Sunday they told me due to their contract with South Daytona Police Department I would have to wait until a week day to retrieve it. The next day is memorial day so I would have to wait till Tuesday. I was not leaving without my car. I called the South Daytona Police Department and after an hour of back and forth they finally sent someone. The gentlemen gave me a quote of $493. I asked why isnt it $150 as told to me. Then he listed all the extra fees that were never given to me before I had them tow the car. Otherwise I would have just had it towed to my house. The manager if this place Aaron is an absolute nightmare. I will be contacting the Attorney General for this and letting them know I was not given my rights of the fees listed and will be blasting all over social media and the BBB. Not a great place to deal with.
My car was towed from my own apartment complex, right in front of my unit. I didn’t have the parking pass visible on my dash or mirror at the time, but my car is registered to my apartment just like every other resident’s. I live here. I’m not some random person trying to park for free.
I just signed my lease and I’m a young adult who works hard for my money and most of it goes towards my college classes. This isn’t even about the $250 I had to pay to get my car back less than 24 hours later, it’s about the principle. This company has a pattern of towing residents’ vehicles and I’ve seen multiple reviews and talked to others in the complex who’ve dealt with the same thing.
When I went to the towing lot, I explained my situation. I told them I live here and that I usually don’t leave my pass out on purpose due to personal safety reasons and forgot to put it back from being tired when I got home at 11:00 pm. I’ve had stalkers before and don’t want people knowing where I live. Instead of understanding, the man there (either the owner or manager) responded with, “From the photos, it just looks like someone trying to get a free ride.”
Excuse me? You towed my car from my home, ignored the fact that it’s registered, and then tried to accuse me of scamming? Let’s be real, if anyone is trying to get a free ride, it’s this company, profiting off residents they know actually live there.
It’s 2025. There should be a better system in place like license plate scanning or a digital registry for residents. But clearly that wouldn’t make them money. They would rather keep doing what’s shady and easy.

Very Disrespectful tow place. I have had my car towed plenty of times. I had been here for almost 2 hours when I was told 30 minutes which I waited for came back on time and they had left saying 10 minutes. 20 minutes passed by and they were still not there. When they came they were very rude, started cussing at me. I had exact cash for my tow and would not let me get my car and closed the gate. I demanded them to give me my car and they refused so I called the cops. When I asked for. Receipt they said they sent it to my email. I never received it and it’s been 30 minutes since. I asked to speak to someone and they would not let me until I had called the cops. Mutiple people passed by and said this wasn’t the first time this had happened. I will be taking further action with this.
My car was towed approximately 2:30am from the parking lot that I was told is Steak N Shakes parking lot. The driver was told that I was in the building a few feet down where my salon is located. I have been parking in the same spot over a year and 2 months with no issues. The police have even seen me park with no issues. Once I was informed by the 911 operator that my car was towed by these vultures, I went to pick up my car which has been held not even a full 6 hours, my bill was $430.54
I was told cash only and the exact price only no change will be given. The exaggerated fees were a $250 lien charge that I was told they can legally put on your property once they tow it. I was informed by a lawyer to send in the bill to the local news station and the Florida attorney general as well as the mayor to show the proof of unethical practices by a "business" thank God Steak N Shake workers knew me and informed me about the tow company and what they did and they can also be proof to these people. I will inform as many as I can regarding these types of thieves
My car was taken from our residence, at night for an expired tag. My property was aware of the tag. Driver was not helpful WHEN I EX0LAINED I HAD THE PAPERWORK IN THE CAR! He had me meet him in dark by the impound said 194$ cash only and gave no receipt. Recipt was given after I called and spoke with Aaron, who was helpful, I did not choose to Be a customer, I was forced to be. This was my experience with this company that I personally had.
I used Volusia County Towing through a cell phone provider. My estimated wait was over an hour they arrived in 15 minutes. They were able to jump my vehicle and tow it to the repair shop. The technician was friendly and I would highly recommend.
I was stuck at the infield in Daytona and Volusia County towing saved me. It was a little difficult with the billing process, but that is on my insurance companies and . highly recommended would definitely use them. Driver was very very very professional. Thank you very much.

After 120min I had to call again and ask for the eta and that's when a driver was finally sent . Got there within 15min after finally being sent so not tows guys fault. Just took two hours for them to dispatch the truck out.

These people are money hungry and will literally tow your car for something that is utterly ridiculous. I have vision problems at night sometimes and I had parked on a white line just a little bit but not to the point where I was taking up an entire parking spot. I emailed a man named Ellen or Allen and he was so rude unhelpful and just money hungry. I had to explain to him that my video footage literally shows me parking correctly in my parking spot just a little bit over the white line as the parking lot was full at the time, and I had to squeeze in there. At 3am a lot of people left; he didn't care to understand.
These people don't care if you got kids they don't care if your hurting just about making money; that evil inhumane type people in the world. I be seeing people parking backwards in parking spots worse than what I did, and no one ever comes to take their car but one night I come and I parked a little bit on a white line innocently and boom, ive been a resident here for 5 years this never happened to me. I posted these photos so that people don't feel alone like you going crazy you didn't do nothing wrong unless you literally taking a whole parking spot or park backwards that makes sense you know. Nontheless, these people are evil and just trying to make money so beware and God Bless.
Today I was harassed by an employee at the lot with children in my car. NOWHERE does this business have signs saying do not enter or even have a spot for customers to park. It just says call for service.
The gate was wide open, so I went to pull in since my friends car was right at the entrance still on the truck with the employee. The guy shut the gate on my car, it got stuck on my car and then when I approached him about it he told me "I should have known better". I asked to see the cameras he said they have and he refused. I asked for his managers contact info and he refused. Couldn't even get his name.
This place is trash. They harass people for no reason other than they clearly have a miserable job and the whole time did it with a cigarette in his mouth and holes in his shorts.
If you ever have to come here, dont try to be friendly or step on the property because the police won't do anything either.
Chris G the owner is an idiot as he would not talk to me, and he lied that he had a pic of all the damages on the vehicle before he towed it. He told me that he sent it to my wife's email which she never received. She called him and his company several times to get it however we can tell they were trying to dodge us so they never called her back or would get her in touch with the owner. I am about to sue the hell out of him for towing my Ferrari incorrectly. He scraped the bottom of it and now I have access to the video of them doing it from the Holiday Inn in Daytona Beach. Thank God one of the staff members took a good video of what happened. I wish I could post the video however it only gives me the option of a picture which I have attached. The Ferrari damage was caught by one of my collision specialists in Atlanta and they also stated that it had to have been done by a tow truck and now they are right as I have the video which has sound now. However, the courts will review this video 100% in our favor as it is crystal clear of the damages, and it has the sound of the scrape. We tried to reason with the owner however this idiot is so stupid that we have called multiple times to settle the damages however because he is so stupid, he decided to just let me litigate when everything is on freaking clean video. It is 100% visible that they screwed up however he blocks my wife's phone who is the owner of the car listed however I am the true owner as I paid for it 100%. He told me that he only talked to the owner of the vehicle which my wife tried 8 different times to call, and they kept telling her he was busy. Now I will be suing this company for $325,000 as the front end is scraped at the bottom and the body shop is telling me the way it was towed caused more damage to the plate underneath. These dumb idiots need to understand that if they don't know how to tow vehicles like this then they shouldn't. I plan on suing them for not only towing my vehicle incorrectly but also for my time and attorney fees. By the end of the day, they will probably be paying me around a minimum of $400,000 in settlement or about $500,000 with all fees included. I tried to talk to them to settle it out of court however now they don't have a choice as they have pissed me off. They also don't know who I am as I asked them to look me up on my website however again the low intelligence, we are dealing with there is uncanny. My net worth is $350 million, and it is not the money or the repairs of the vehicle that bothers me however it is the principle of the matter in which I will do everything in my power to ensure I strip as much funds as possible from this company to hopefully make it go bankrupt, so they don't do this to another car.
