First time going here. It was a great experience. the guys i worked with were very helpful. walked me through the process there. the scale is right there for you to see exactly what you have.
I would recommend this place to anybody looking to cash in on some unwanted metals.
Been going here for years but then owners sold and new owners are robbing customers. For a truck of electric wire clean and insulated should have been good 100 or more slap in the face for 24 dollars. Stay away if you want your hard earn money in your pocket.
I don't often go scrappin. It's more of a just for fun moment and I always come here. The guys are always super nice. And they don't mind explaining to me like what kind of metal it is and what the difference and everything is because I don't know much about it. I'm always happy when I leave with money, though!
Prices for brass and copper are low. About 90 cents lower than the place I normally go to. Didn’t bother to call about pricing cause I figured it would be about the same. Gave them About 500lbs of brass and copper. Mostly clean. Thought I was gonna have about $1500-1800 in scrap but was only given $1100 and they asked me to go around front while the stuff was being weighed. I like to watch. Shady place, will never go again. Trademark metal in Sanford is much better and I wish I went there like I usually do but I live in deland and wanted to try local.
We all work at a unit if we don't work at the unit we be it won't work out properly if it don't work out properly you got to redress the other worker say hey man this is how we supposed to do it here in New Caney Texas but I'm also glad to be a recitalist glad to be doing that it helps it helps with the world and when it finally gets cleaned up it'll be able to breathe
Don’t come here! You’ll either get an attitude from the tall toothless worker in the back or will get paid the lowest legally allowed to pay. Brought thousands of $ of scrap into this location to only be spoken to like someone below these people. Rather than be treated this way I’ll take my biz elsewhere and let everyone know how you treat the businesses that keep you alive!
It was convenient but they straight up bought an aluminum semi wheel for "chrome rim" price. I asked him about it and he said "yeah, they buy aluminum rims as chrome rims." That was one of the heaviest aluminum objects I've ever sold for the least amount of money.
BTW there was no Chrome on the rim.
Edited: It's not the fact that I didn't feel like I got the best value on the rims boss, it's the fact that I got got. Maybe you can just send me a check for the difference of a chrome semi rim and Aluminum semi rim. Thanks. Or better yet just buy the metal for what the metal is, that would be even better. No need to send me a check I understand you guys are busy down there but I just want people to understand that if they take a solid aluminum rim down there that they're going to get paid for a chrome rim instead of an aluminum rim. And of course I'm not going to call and bother Blake. I'm sure he has nothing to do with pricing. But thank you for responding to my review. I appreciate it. If the price benefits the customer let's please tell the customer what's the difference in a chrome rim price versus aluminum rim. What is the actual price of chrome and what is the actual price of an aluminum rim? Seeing as how my rim had no Chrome on it. Thanks. And I understand that some rims are dipped in Chrome but that had nothing to do with mine. We honor those who honor the truth.
They are owned by new people but still have the old employees that they should have the fired a long time ago this is why the other owners got tired and fed up with what they were dealing with and sold the company I will not give a rating because it does not deserve one not even a half a star

I called about the price per pound for aluminum cans. The girl on the phone said we don’t take aluminum cans. I said your web site says that you do take them. She said no we don’t. That was the end of the conversation!

Courteous and helpful people, unloaded 700+lbs of steel from my pickup in just a few minutes and it was weighed and calculated by the time I walked the short distance to the office.
I was greeted as soon as I shut off my engine. Everything I had in my truck was unloaded by the staff. Prices were very competitive and they gave more per pound than the center in Orange City. I ended up staying around to talk to one of the owners. I'm new to the area but I have now found my local recyclers that I will use each time I need to dispose of valuable metals.
Always a pleasure going there. Friendly people and fast service. Better prices than everyone else and if you forgot your drink, no worries just open the cooler and grab a water. Never going anywhere else!
I’ve used recycling centers in Orlando & Daytona & I always got flat tires on the trailer, plus rude ppl who offered little to no assistance ! Been coming to Florida recycling for 5 years now always helpful & polite! Plus I’ve not had another flat tire! Little to no wait times!!
The old man told me 30 cent for a pound stainless steel they the young man said 3 cent for the stainless steel I told them no.and I left IAM NEVER GOING THIER AGAIN.A BUNCH OF COOKS....

I've dealt with many scrap yards and if these guys paid 20 cents less for everything I would still go here! Great Customer service quick and friendly, I'll be doing all my business here. And if that was not enough on average these guys pay 20-40 cents more per pound for copper. Done Deal!
