Lady working today shifts around three or so o'clock was completely rude.Unfriendly and undeserving of the customers that come through that office. Told me I COULD NOT pay with a debit card which forced me to walk three miles to the gas station after my vehicle caught fire ust to find out I could not get cash back before I called the answering service again and they told me that I COULD INDEED pay with a card and charged me on the spot to drop my vehicle. Very unfriendly
I have not had a chance to deal with the company one-on-one yet. I'm not judging them as a company, but I want you guys to know that one of the drivers just pulled out in front of my elderly mother today, who was driving the car, causing her to have to slam on the brakes and when there was no cars behind us at all. The driver could have clearly just waited to pull out. Then the driver went up to the very next light, a yellow light turning red, and blew through it making a left, almost causing another accident. You need to get your drivers under control on the road, not cause accidents on the road while they're trying to help with other accidents.
My tire blew tonight and Jacob and Darrell were both very helpful and patient with me on deciding if it was safe to travel home since I live a few from where the tire blew. I thank the both of them for helping me out!!
I can’t say enough great things about this company. They helped my son out of a situation where he sold his car to a family member who did not put the car in his name and sold it to someone else that got into criminal trouble with the car. We learned a lot about this system future experiences but most of all Ryan and John were just so kind and considerate by helping us out. Highly recommend!
The driver went above and beyond. He drove three hours each way in the middle of the night to swap out my broken down rental car. He unloaded the new car and left the keys with the hotel front desk, so I wasn’t even disturbed at 3am. Professional, reliable, and made a stressful situation much easier.

Big, big thank you to Pratt’s, and especially to Wally, for coming to rescue my dog after she locked herself (and my keys!) inside my car. Volusia fire and Sheriff did their best with an antennae and blood pressure cuff, but Pratt’s saved the day! They were there in a matter of minutes and had my car unlocked in under 30 seconds. I highly recommend Pratts Towing. Darryl is a true asset to the company and stands behind his work. During a recent tow, he accidentally broke the water meter on my property line. To his defense, it was buried in the yard and completely invisible.
When I called to let him know, he didn’t hesitate. He said, “No need to worry, I’ll be there in the morning with everything needed to fix it.” Sure enough, he showed up on time, made the repair, confirmed there were no leaks, and even buried and leveled the area back to how it was.

I called them for a flat bed tow of my Jeep wagoneer from Daytona to Deland. They got right on it and did a great job. Very friendly and easy to work with. I will use them again if I need it and would recomend them as well.

He didn’t have to do anything, but tow our car to a location that USAA requested for him to do. Instead he helped us out so much more and made me and my son feel safe. The first time I called, the guy sounded like he was in a Jack-in-the-box, and was very distracted. I was told someone would call back with my quote in 20 minutes or so..... it's been 2 days now and after calling with a gentle reminder yesterday and still no return call or quote, not only will I not be using this company, I will also not be recommending them.

Caleb and Darryl were amazing at making sure everything was handled professionally and properly. Stellantis roadside didn’t give enough information to the dispatchers as my new Dodge Charger Daytona (EV) was unable to be placed into neutral for loading. Caleb came out and assessed the situation and rather than risking damage to the vehicle to load on his rollback, called in Darryl with a wheel lift and dolly. Great guys who would rather take the time to get the job done properly without any risk of damage than just rush to get onto the next job. I would recommend these guys anytime to get the job done right the first time with the proper equipment and care. Thanks again!
My car was towed a few days ago by Pratt's Towing. During my car being towed some fortunate events happened that left me upset and very concerned. However there was a very professional and truly understanding manager by the name of John K that came to the rescue. He took the time to listen to my concerns and personally handle the matter. I was very pleased with how he handled the situation. JOHN K was kind, respectful and reassuring. He also kept me posted every day. There are not many people like that anymore. I am incredibly grateful and I want to make sure he gets the recognition for what he did for me

I recently had to arrange a tow through my insurance company and, after a rough start, I’m incredibly thankful for the excellent service I received from Caleb.
Initially, a different tow company was dispatched, but I had specifically requested a flatbed truck. Not only did they show up with the wrong type of vehicle, but the driver was also rude and unhelpful. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience.
Thankfully, my insurance company quickly sent a new driver—and that’s when Caleb showed up. He was a complete game-changer. He arrived promptly with the correct flatbed truck, greeted me with professionalism and kindness, and took great care of my vehicle. Caleb’s calm, respectful demeanor and attention to detail immediately put me at ease.

Called Pratts towing to come tow me out of the middle of an intersection when my truck died. Their response time was quick and Darryl the driver knew exactly how to pick up my truck that was stuck in park. He took the utmost care not to damage my vehicle when loading on the flatbed. Towed it to Deland Chevy for a reasonable fee. Would definitely recommend Pratts towing if you have vehicle troubles in Volusia or Seminole.
Car was impounded, I was told 180 for over night 230 for under 48 hrs.
Police told me to show up with a unexpired tag. Went and collected my dealer plates and immediately returned.
When I showed up they told me dealer plates were unacceptable, and they would need to keep it until I furnished proper tags. I did exactly that. However... I was charged a lot more than the agreed price.
I asked for a receipt and and invoice and policies related to my charges for a better understanding, I was refused.
I signed with Pratt's, but someway somehow my contract and signature were applied to this company. When I asked how or for an explanation; for paperwork purposes. Pratts is for civilian customers, John's for government/police customers as they have different rates and charges.
Also note significant damages to my vehicle; they rolled the windows down and left them down allowing rain to come through the vehicle, leaving me with water damage and electrical issues, my vehicle had good tires and was recently in for an alignment, two of my tires are not what I had; when asked about the tires and damages; they said it wasn't them ::ok shaggy::
So be warned, unfair rates and charges and refusal of proper documentation and invoices. Paying 3x the original agreement is outrageous! Keeping my car overnight and transferring my signatures without my permission is highly suspicious.

During his visit, we had to change the car being towed, and he managed it seamlessly and professionally. I highly recommend Pratt's Towing. GEICO sent this company for my roadside service tow. The driver/operator called me immediately and was extremely kind. GEICO estimated arrival for 90 minutes he got there in 35!!! We took our turn in the “broke down on the side of the road” barrel today when our new to us Expedition unexpectedly overheated coming home from Daytona. We live in DeLand and called Pratt's Towing. Within 5 minutes of my call, their driver, Kerry, called me, confirmed my location and provided his ETA. As promised, he was there 5 minutes later. Kerry was professional and pleasant. Our vehicle was taken to the Ford dealership and Kerry texted me an image of the paperwork and key he dropped off there with our truck. Great work! I had the unfortune to be involved in a crash on I-4 in a severe rainstorm. Pratts was dispatched by FHP. My truck was stuck behind a guardrail. Ernest and Mike showed true professionalism and safely and quickly recovered my truck and got a 2nd tow truck on scene for the other vehicle. Afterwards Mike gave me a ride home to Port Orange. These guys are true professionals and show amazing teamwork and knowledge.
Ernest from Pratt’s towing came to our rescue when our car’s alternator failed on our drive home from our GA vacation last Friday night.
We were stuck on SR 40 near Astor in the dark and we were so thankful he found us as we had no lights and we were parked along the side of that busy 2 lane highway.
He got us and our car safely home, and we were so pleased with his service we called Pratts again the next morning for a second tow to our dealership for the repair. The second driver, Jose, was also very courteous and professional.
We would use them again if needed, and recommend them to anyone needing a tow. They are also a AAA provider.
