They never showed up but told my insurance company that they were at the site. I was waiting 1hr before they texted me. When I called they said they were doing another job that was 30mins away. Regarding the fact they informed my insurance company that they were at the site. DO NOT TRUST them.

The company itself was provided by insurance, Progressive. Sunshine gave an eta of 2pm, and didn’t arrive until 5pm. And that’s after speaking to a Progressive agent, calling Sunshine twice and leaving 1 voicemail. They finally called back and gave me an updated eta at about 330. The only reason I am giving 3/5 stars is because Shane was amazing. He was quick, kind, knowledgeable, and provided great customer service. Request Shane if you can.

Pretty pleased with the service. Driver was professional, personable, and showed up faster than the roadside ETA. Took a lot of care to make sure my car was towed without any damage.

They were hired by my car warranty provider and were terrible. It’s been 5 hours and they just keep saying they’ll be there in 30 minutes. Then they don’t show, I call to check, they say another 45 minutes. And now they aren’t answering my calls. Called my provider and switched to a different company. What a waste of a day. They are unorganized and don’t communicate their timing well at all.

Super considerate of my lowered car. checked plenty of times to make sure there was no damage loading or unloading it. I know the lady was new (can’t remember her name) because he was explaining why she does certain things she does. Otherwise I would have NEVER guessed. Both had awsome attitudes! I woke up early a little annoyed that my car was having to b towed again for the 20th time but as soon as I showed up, his energy TOOK OVER! Her energy right alone with his. Just awsome people I wish I could get them everytime!🙏🏼 I stopped on the way home real quick to pick up a part waiting for me and when I got home they were already here. Quick, easy, considerate, quality quality quality towing! THANK YOU BOTH SO MUCH!🙏🏼 I FORGOT THE NAME I KNOW I HEARD HIM CALL HER WINK! If that helps but I’m not sure if that was a nick name or real name

If you're looking for your car to be towed - 100% avoid this company at all costs. Even if they were the only company in town I still wouldn't use them. They lie about estimated arrival times which I learned the hard way after being pushed back every hour for 6 hours straight. Pathetic.

My insurance (progressive) sent them to tow my GTI to the dealership since the ecu failed. They showed up in about 20 minutes and the driver worked hard to make sure he didn’t rip the front euro lip off the car while loading and unloading. The other reviews got me a little nervous but I guess the only time we really take the time to leave a review is when we either have a really good experience or a bad one. I’d use them again for sure. Great service!

Waited over 3 hours and they still hadn't shown up. They kept pushing it back another hour. My insurance company had to contact another tow company to come help me.

Terrible customer service. Waited for hours! When I called to get updates they were rude and vague with time. Do not waste your time with them. Unfortunately my insurance company uses this business and another complaint will be filed with my insurance company against this tow company

NOT RECOMMENDED!!! Driver picked up vehicle on route after another pickup. Bottomed out my car (tow behind truck) pulling up to Auto Repair Shop (enough to pull off hitch cover). Paid cash with good tip and asked for receipt. Was told he would have office email me in morning. Never got a receipt (was needed for AAA reimbursement). Called office after a few texts to driver asking on receipt (two weeks) and after 10 minutes of not able to locate any information was told he would call me back. I called the next day and my call goes immediately to voice mail. Left a message and no call back. Now when I text the driver, no response there either. Response to review reply from company: If you are so eager to make this right... get me my requested receipt of payment so I can turn it in to my insurance... I've been talking to your staff and no one is doing anything to correct this issue.

Called at 5:50 its 9:05 as I'm typing this car still has not been towed most unreliable company i have ever had to deal with no exaggeration dont use if you have the option. Danny is also a big fat liar(customer service representative)

If you have the option of going with any other company... do it. Not only do they take forever to show up, they will just blatantly lie to you about the reasons and the time. They won't even apologize. Tow companies are notorious for their lack of customer service but these guys are near the top of the worst ones I've ever dealt with. Myself and my family have been in the body shop and salvage yard business since 1972 here in Orlando.

Sunshine towing I have personally dealt with while working for Mercedes and having them drop off vehicles at the dealership. There driver Brandon is top of the line always willing to go above and beyond anytime I have had home drop off vehicles to me. Today I needed a tow for my vehicle after running through water from some nasty flooding. Mark the general manager was the driver I was lucky to get this evening and he was beyond helpful even was very sweet to give me a ride back to my house, and super professional during the whole process. I recommend this company to all of my customers, family and friends, and will keep recommending them as they do go above and beyond what I have seen any tow truck company do. Thank you guys for always being so amazing and helpful!

First I spoke with Mudassar for booking my pick up, he even called me back with an eta! Then, Brandon came and picked up my car and delivered it to the shop. Thank you Sunshine towing for a great experience!

Sunshine towing came to tow my car through my insurance. They were very easy to get a hold of for an ETA and had no problem dropping my car off at a repair place. The gentlemen over the phone were kind and helpful. Thank you for your service in a stressful time.

They were hired by my insurance company for road side when I needed my car towed from my home to my mechanic. Was told 2.5 hours turned out o to be 4.5 hours My vehicle was AWD and needed to be towed on a flatbed. They dispatched a truck that was not a flatbed. I mentioned to the driver it was all wheel drive and he said “oh that’s okay” He leaves with my car and not even 4-5 minutes later he is calling me to tel me My ebrake was on and it broke and the back end was rattling He was gonna put it up on a car dolly and get It to the garage .(this is after the damage ) About 10 minutes later the mechanic calls me and tells me I need to call my insurance company and the tow company because the tow guy damaged my vehicle due to improperly towing it. It should have come on on a flatbed and it was not. I called the 407 number and said my name i and the guy on the line who spoke very broken English said “oh yes yes. We are not responsible for the Damage. He had your car up on a dolly the whole time..he refused to give me the name of the manager. After I contact The claims department I call the mechanic and let him know infield a claim. I told him the tow company is stating they didn’t do the damage. They had it on a dolly the whole time- my mechanic confirmed and has video footage of my car being towed in on two wheels and no car dolly in site. Shame on you!

Called for a tow at 2pm, then the driver repeatedly kept telling us he would arrive within an hour. Finally at 6pm he told us to leave our keys unlocked in the car because he had no idea when he’d show up. After that he and the company stopped returning our calls. The driver even quickly hung up on us a few times, so we called a different tow truck company. Finally the driver shows up 2 hours later unannounced at 8pm. He was clearly under the influence of something because he was tweaking out, and twitched as he struggled to put sentences together. I told him the other tow company was coming soon, since he had not answered his phone for the past 2 hours. Then, he proceeded to curse me out in front of my 5 year old and tell me he owned the company. When I called the company to complain, they quickly confirmed he was not the owner and apologized. However no amount of apologizing could compensate us for the unprofessionalism and the complete waste of an entire day. If Sunshine towing is assigned to you by insurance, insist to switch to a different tow company. They purposely deceive the insurance companies by promising a quick arrival time, but will continuously push it back for many many hours when dealing with the customer. The driver assigned to us was a complete degenerate and should be drug tested, before he harms somebody’s vehicle or worse

Made me wait an hour and a half only to cancel my tow. Had I not called for an update after the 1hr and half they had allotted for my tow I would still be here waiting for them to show up. There solution was for me to find another towing company.

Rude customer service, when called for 2nd time to follow up on the status of the tow truck, was told it will reach at ETA given previously, could not have told the time instead sigh! 45 minutes after original ETA, the tow arrives. In the original call, was not told they do not offer ride to their customers and prefer to leave them stranded on road. Received call half way into waiting and had to make own arrangement. I had to tow my car atleast 5 times in life so far, and this has been the worst experience in terms of wait time, customer service on phone, providing/arranging ride or at the least informing customer of ride un-availability. Avoid if you can.

I called my insurance company for a tow and they hired sunshine towing to pick up and drop off my car. My insurance company told me they would cover the costs of the service. The tow company took the car to the mechanic and asked for more money in cash after they already did the job and as I mentioned the insurance company would pay for the service. They then stole my car from the mechanic and said they would hold it at an impound lot which is also not true as my car has gps and they took it to their house 1841 Van Allen Circle. I am have filed a report with the insurance company to recover my car and taking steps to file a police report as my car was safely parked at the mechanic and was no need to take it to the bosses house. You charged for the service to the insurance company and then stole a my car to hold it hostage. And left me a message saying “it will cost you!” I hope you understand that for the extra $100 in cash you were trying to over charge is not worth stealing my car. I will make that clear

I called for a tow and they were there in less than 20 minutes, Mark was professional courteous and helpful. I even got a picture of my car as soon as it was on the flatbed. Highly recommend. Especially since before calling bmw and them sorting it out with sunshine, I called my credit card and they referred me to some company that showed up 3 hours late and no flat bed despite requesting and confirming the same. Will call sunshine in the future!!

My daughter drives a Mercedes and is a full-time college student. On Sunday March 15, 2021 she had a blowout on International Speedway Blvd. between Daytona and Deland. It was around 4:30 p.m. I called Mercedes Roadside Service, they then called Sunshine Trucking because they had a contract with Sunshine. Sunshine stated they would be there in about an hour. After an hour we call to find out where the driver was. We were told stuck in traffic. We called again later and the same response. Finally after another call we ask where specifically is the driver stuck? The dispatch didn't know. We then spoke with a manager and after a few minutes and after probing for the truth, the company did NOT send a truck because they were looking for a driver. My daughter with my two dogs was still on the side of the road and it was starting to get dark. While talking with the manager he had stated that we (the parents) should not get involved because our daughter is 21. No one, especially a tow company, will not tell us that we are not to get involved about our daughter being stuck on the side of the road! Had we not, she would still be there! Company said to leave the keys on a tire or in the car and when the truck eventually does come they can take it. Who leaves keys in a car on the side of the road...at night?! Mercedes did say they were having issues with towing companies like this and that's their weak link for roadside assistance. I will be making a formal complaint to Mercedes and hope this company loses it's contract because you do NOT lie to people and let them wait for 4 hours on the side of the road. I cannot give lower than 1 star or I would.

The only thing good about this company was the driver!! First of all immediately after being booked they called me and told me it would be an hour from the original time! I was never told over the phone but that there would be any type of overcharge, nor was I ever asked before they move the car if I was ok with it. They came and hooked up and at the end told I was to pay $135 fee with no receipt I would never use this company again in my life

Had a great experience with this company this week. They are professional, courteous and very kind. The owner actually appeared on site at the job and transported me to the mechanic personally due to their COVID policies that prohibit customers from riding in the tow truck. THAT IS WHAT YOU CALL SERVICE, I will always be using them for any of my towing and transport needs!

A flat tire on the interstate: a very traumatic experience for me, as I had my dog with me for an appointment with his oncology surgeon. Fortunately, was able to reach my spouse to come pick him up while I awaited the tow truck. Everyone arrived at the same time, so after transferring PoPo to the other vehicle, we towed my car into the dealership. The driver was a very pleasant and professional young man, and I am very appreciative of his assistance.

They were very polite but took forever. We were told at 6pm that they would be there in 2 hrs. I called at 730 just to check that arrival time was still 8ish. They said it would be another 2 hrs. They didn't call us to say that it would take longer than expected.. My vehicle got to my house at like 11 pm.

The wait was a little long but considering was Friday and was late afternoon. Was not bad at all plus the pleasant updates from Malik the dispatcher was greatly appreciated. And to top it all Mark the tow truck driver was very understanding and calming. Thanks so much!!
