If you're considering doing business with B&S Auto Salvage, save yourself the time, money, and aggravation—this place is the textbook definition of unprofessional and downright disgraceful. My wife recently called to inquire about a specific vehicle, politely stating the make and model. The woman who answered the phone immediately responded with unwarranted attitude, saying, “How should I know what vehicle you're talking about?”—a completely unacceptable response to a paying customer. There was no attempt to assist, no basic courtesy, just hostility and arrogance. This wasn’t a one-off experience either. I’ve personally called this place multiple times over the years, and the treatment has always been the same: rude, ignorant, and condescending employees who act like they're being inconvenienced just by answering the phone. It's as if professionalism, customer service, and common decency never made it through the front door. Let’s talk about pricing—outrageous for a salvage yard. They charge premium prices for parts they can't even confirm are in stock. No inventory awareness. No pride in their work. No care for the customers that keep their doors open. The auto salvage industry may be a fading part of the automotive world, but that doesn’t excuse the complete lack of integrity, professionalism, and basic human decency displayed by this business. Even in a rough trade, there's room for honor. There’s room for pride. B&S Auto Salvage shows neither. This company is in desperate need of training in customer relations, communication, and general human behavior. If they spent half as much time on professionalism as they do being rude, they might actually resemble a functioning business. In short, B&S Auto Salvage is expensive, ignorant, uneducated, and unworthy of your time or money. Take your business to someone who respects their customers and takes pride in their operation—because you won’t find it here.

The employees as a group just seem so uninterested in dealing with customers. I picked up a part I called ahead for. I asked if the donor vehicle was still in their lot. A worker with his back to me says "why". I need more parts. "Like what" he asks. I rattle off three of four items. Didn't get another word out of the guy, or even a turned around. Too bad it looks like they have a big inventory. Guess they want the parts more than I do.

Maybe it's me a hood latch 06 corrolla new online free delivery $20 they want for a use one $50 04 ranger exterior door handle they want $40 buy it online $8-$15 Never again.

I was trying to talk to them but they ignored me and did not acknowledge me whatsoever. All I needed was to find out if there is a front bumper. This junkyard isn’t around the corner so I won’t just drive 2 hours just to find out they don’t have it. Horrible experience, it’s no wonder they are rated 3 stars instead of 4-5. Rating don’t lie, they are not on top of their game. I do not recommend this junk, yard.

Great experience great customer service thank you Bubba. Came and pickes up the car and paid a fair price! Bubba actually went out of his way to pull the car our of the dirt backwards so as not to damage our grass. That's going above and beyond.

Online inventory incorrect, boasts a 20-acre yard open to the public but in reality it’s about 30 cars in total. Rest of the yard is double and triple stacked cars waiting to be crushed. Don’t waste your time in coming here, there’s so many better lots with better customer service.

I don't ever buy anything from this junkyard I rather go to Chuck's Auto truck salvage in fruitland Park they're cheaper in parts let's jump over here charges almost 3 to 400 dollars for a used hood that has scratches and dents which means I can go buy a brand new hood for that price or I can go to a bullet junkyard and get a nice one no rust no dents or no marks for like less than 100 bucks I don't see how they're making money selling used parts for the price of new ones that you can get from the dealer junkyard has have a lot of cars but the prices are just outrageous and ridiculous

So first off.. it's a salvage yard (no surprise, but some people need reminding they are scrapped vehicles) but for me personally I love being able to wander and pick what I want for parts, it's great for quick oem cannibalized repairs or even adding those factory options that the dealer wants a ton of money for. I would definitely recommend because the sheer amount of pretty good quality salvage they have on hand and fairness of pricing... Thanks guys!!!

I am a 70 year old woman. My life was a wreck much like my husband's truck. He has been in the hospital for 3 months with cancer. I have. 2 broken arms. I lost my house. I lost even more than I can tell you. I had a lot of old cars boats and stuff I needed to sell. The Father and the came out to my house with a wrecker driver. They treated my with kindness and respect. They bought things from me I know they didn't particularly need. They paid me a more than fair price. I paid them to put in a transmission in my truck. Great job. And cheaper than anyone else. Great people. Ladies you won't be treated like a skirt there. I will never forget them.

0 stars. Bought a transmission for 1400. Had problems with it. Scott gave me the runaround everytime i tried to get them to honor the 60 day warranty. I am an ASE Certified auto repair shop. Installed this transmission myself. The ripped me off $1400. I will never buy another part from these people. They are liars and crooks. They will be hearing from my lawyer.

Not pleased with the outcome with my visit but everyone was friendly! Made a long trip for nothing! Kind of wasn't their fault but in a way it was! I know they buy insurance wrecked cars and you take a chance on stuff like that? Well you win some you loose some! Over all they seem to be good folk!

Called yesterday and got nowhere called again this morning and got hung up on after a couple of hours looking elsewhere for a oil dipstick for 00 Ford ranger went to the establishment talk with a very kind and sweet young lady (can't recall her name) she was more than helpful went into the yard and found my item for me this would've been 5 stars if the other two parties wasn't such pricks the customer service here has gone all the way down the drain they act like they doing you a favor for just calling or stopping by

I am a disabled Widow. The transmission went out on my truck. I searched hi and low locally to no avail. I live in Silver Springs, bordering the Ovals National I called B&S and he (the owner) told me "C'mon down, we probably have 2or3 laying around back there. So I paid someone with a truck to take me down there. They didn't even have it pulled yet, so I had to pay someone else to take me BACK down there. We picked up the tyranny, brought it home only to find out that I had been given the wrong one. Now, I have to pay someone to take me there AGAIN to return it. And here is the kicker....after THEY gave me the wrong transmission, and never had the proper one to begin with, the heartless thieves charged me a $100 "re-stock fee". I think they should be arrested for misrepresenting themselves in the first place. Thank you very much. Cynthia Super

purchased a used engine and had it installed after pick up it was noisy and smoking and the owner took it back in without question and found the problem to be the catalytic converter and fixed it for very reasonable cost and has been excellent ever since. service was spectacular and went out of their way to make us happy

My husband has a hobby of restoring vehicles, new and old. He sends me here often and I drive from Gainesville (over an hour) to get there because they always seem to have what we are looking for at the best price. I was amazed at the amount of vehicles this place has. After doing research, it was no surprise they always have my part - they are the largest privately owned Salvage yard in South East! There was a circumstance when they didn't have what I needed but they recommended me to another salvage yard that had the part. I was surprised they gave someone else my business, but many other yards go to them for parts that their yard doesn't have. The whole experience fascinates me and once I got to know the family that owns it, I will not look anywhere else for my parts. They're amazing people and their inventory is unlike any other. I highly recommend.

In all reality it sucks to have to write a bad review because that means that the person had to go through a bad experience. I can't even begin to say how bad my experience was at BNS. I went in there and they didn't let me know when I called originally that I could do credit card authorization over email so that the part could be pulled by the time I got there. When I got there I told them I had to be at work and that I would wait but I was on a time limit so after dallying and dallying the chick at the front grabbed her cigarettes and walked outside to get the part after I mentioned it again. The owner said "yeah she grabbed her cigarettes and I know her it definitely might take a minute" so I asked if he could send somebody else out and he did. Well 45 minutes later the part still wasn't there and I had to get back to work. I had my friend go pick up the part before 5 o'clock and I didn't know it until yesterday, but when I went to change my headlight it was for a totally different car! When I called to say that it was the wrong part today, the older man (maybe he's the owner I don't know) argued with me that I didn't know what I was looking at and was I sure that I was putting it on the right side? I told him of course I'm sure, the passenger light, it doesn't fit of course it's not the right part. I asked him to text me a picture if they even have the right part and he said we do. And I told him I didn't want to take their word and could he text me a picture. He said he would And then he said quote "I know you have anxiety issues it doesn't mean you have to take it out on us." I said what?! And I will bring the part back but I will not get a refund and not give these "people" my money ever again. I cannot believe how unprofessional and unreliable bnS is. Never go here !!!!!

I had the rear end done on my truck and they where very professional and polite. Very good price! I would definitely go back for more work. Scott is the one who took care of me.

No zero star option , but Horrible , tried to buy a window 4 times , was told to come back twice in the same day , to lazy to get a part . Afraid of rain I guess. Plus idiots , but had us drive there on 4 different occasions and did not help us in anyway. Said they had the part we needed . But never got , had us come in 4 times , and the 4 th time the said to come back again ?????? EBay's faster and cheaper , plus no idiots lol Dave ,,,

They're super busy, so I am apparently one of a few people who understand how difficult it is to return every call, promptly. With that being said, Scott has always gone above and beyond to make any situation right with both parties. This is a USED parts place, they warranty and stand behind everything they sell... if it's the wrong one, they find you one. I can't complain, they're doing a great job up there!

can I do less then 1 star... sold me a motor and Trans and not 3 months later the engine threw a rod transmission leaked a quart of fluid a day!!!! and he told me it wasn't anything he did.. the truck was over heating and it took them 3 months to do the work and the truck went back three times... the motor and Trans that was in the truck before they did work was better.. oh and now I have working issues and ground problems. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here to have work done

Worst customer service ever. They can't even break down the price of a service without debating how they're going to charge a customer do too a conflict of interests. And if it wasn't for the Monopoly due to police usage of their business they still over charge and could care less about the customer who they are bending over.

Junk yard is not organized at all.. I called ahead for a price on a part and was told an amount if I pulled the part so I went and after 2 hrs of searching for a compatible vehicle in the mess of a yard I finally found it, pulled it, took it up front and they told me a price $20 higher than when I had called! They told me oh that was just a starting price n goes up from there depending on condition. Load of crap. At least I found the part I guess..

Way over priced on everything. If you don't show up in a mechanics uniform, he's gonna try to run you through the mill. Not a place to send your wife to pick up anything. They will tell you a price over the phone, and double it by the time you get there. They will assure you they have what you are looking for, but it's no where to be found when you get there. Anything they can say to get your money, they will say it. On average, he is 20% under new prices. Do yourself a favor, an buy new, or find another junk to deal with. Even if you have to drive an extra hour to another junk yard, you'll still lose less than dealing with these guys.

Had the back glass replaced in my F350 with one they pulled from the yard. This place is always busy, but the employees have a great handle on things. They pulled the part for me the day I stopped in and made an appointment to have it installed the next day. The whole repair job only took an hour. Prices for parts and labor were very reasonable.

Very poor service. Said they had the part called several times. Each time I had to explain what I needed. Waited for call backs. Never happened. I hardly ever leave feed back. And this is not the first time I had problems. Terrible service. They do not take time to help businesses.

I get all my used parts here. I needed some door handles the other day and my luck they didn't have any, but they offered to order new after market for half the price! They have also searched for other stuff they didn't have at other juckyards! They called it parts locating service. I love this place.
