Kauff's Towing-Transportation JunkYard in Port St. Lucie (FL)

Jason and Glen did a masterful job in towing my 30ft RV. It lost power while driving. I had to pull off the road onto a very uneven grass area. They manually put the RV into neutral so they could use their wench to pull the RV onto a paved surface. This enabled them to use their rig to lift my RV and tow it safely without damaging the front facia. These men are courteous, professional and just nice people! I highly recommend Kauff's for the towing of any size vehicle. They turned an unwelcome experience into a positive experience. Thank you Jason and Glen!!

I would give them ten stars if I could. Their customer service is next level. I called them on a Sunday afternoon with a broke down truck needing a heavy wrecker. The lady that answered the phone was awesome took all my information down put me on a brief hold to check with dispatch clicked back over and said she had a truck headed to me. I know that’s what they all say right. She was kidding in less than 30 min the wrecker was pulling in. The driver was awesome too. Very caring and eager to make sure we were comfortable first and foremost. And then began doing what he does best getting us hooked up and home. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone. Hope I don't need them again but I definitely know they will be there if I do.

I totaled my car hydroplaning on a highway because of a pothole that made me lose control on wet roads. I had been struggling significantly financially, and losing my car was devastating. My car was towed by Kauffs. I called them the next day, or two days later, maybe, hoping to salvage my vehicle to maybe get a couple grand to put towards a new one. They wanted over 800 dollars for it. I only had a few hundred dollars so I had to let it go. I was livid. A year and a half went by, and because of my medical issues and other reasons I had been struggling significantly, financially and otherwise. I was going through a very difficult time, and still am. I went online to register my vehicle, and I found out that Kauffs had put a lien on my registration. I called them, and they wanted about 500 dollars, even though they had made a good amount of money on my totaled car. I called and pleaded my case and they said all they could do is cut it in half, and I just had to pay around 250. I was forced to make a 5 hour trip to Port St. Lucie to pay it, as I had moved the previous year for a job and they only accept cash. I cannot explain how angry, and frustrated I was, having to pay almost everything in my bank account which I desperately needed to these people, who had already screwed me over by over-charging for the release of my vehicle. I had to cancel one of my doctors appointments, because this drained me.

Very professionals, smooth process, great service. Our truck had an accident and within an hour our truck was in its way back. Reliable service.

I didn't get the driver's name, he was super friendly and polite. They arrived sooner than est time. Checked my battery, attempted to jump my truck. The gal that took my call was sweet, answered our question without putting us on hold and their prices fair. Id recommended this company.

I understand whatever the circumstances are getting your vehicle towed but try to remove and take any items out of your car when we went to collect items from their yard items were missing said their drivers are honest as Abe

Kauff’s was great. My clutch went out Christmas Day. They came, towed my car 1.5 hours back to my mechanic and couldn’t have been any more pleasant and helpful. Thanks so much for making a tricky situation so stress free.

Kauff's tow truck driver Kyle arrived on time to collect my vehicle.He was very polite and totally competent in securing my van and taking it to the repair shop..I would definitely ask for Kyle if I need service in the future from Kauff's. WOW. I can honestly say without any reservation, question or doubt that Kauff’s is by far the best Towing company on the planet. I say this because from my first contact with Billy in the office and ending with David my Tow Truck Driver Operator, it was the most professional, courteous, respectful and remarkable tow experience you could have imagined. Those two are rock stars and really know how to deliver Outstanding Excellence in Customer Service. All of my expectations of how I wanted my tow to go were more than met. They were by far extraordinarily exceeded. I could not have believed that they would or could do such an exceptional job. At the end there was nothing they could have done better. They did it all with proficiency, perfection, care and concern. It all began when I spoke with Billy to inquire about a tow. Right off the bat I was impressed that all he cared about was what I needed and at what time and place. He never said “let me check my schedule to see if we can fit you in.” Instead he said “where and what time is convenient for you and I promise we will be there.” It was all about me, not him. It felt so good that he put me first and he made me feel like I was an important and valued customer. That is what great service is all about. And true to his word, the Kauff’s Tow Truck arrived at the exact time and place that Billy promised. It was so thoughtful that they respected and recognized me and my time commitments and did not make me wait or make me have to call them to see where they were or why they were late or worse yet be worried that they might not show at all. That too is what great service is all about. Then I met David whose clean, well-groomed and professional presence made a strong first impression. And not only was his appearance sharp, so was the Kauff’s Tow Truck. It was super clean, highly polished and detailed and shiny. It was immaculate and it was clear that David took much pride in the way he and his truck looked. I thought if they take such good care of their equipment that they too will do the same with my vehicle. After David politely introduced himself, without delay, he went right to work. It was very obvious he really cared about treating my vehicle with care as he began preparing it to be towed away. He made sure to protect it the best he could so as not to cause any damage or dings. From my untrained eye I could tell that David was very knowledgeable and experienced as he worked with high energy while doing quality work without any wasted effort or time. He knew exactly what needed to be done and he did it with expertise, enthusiasm and high quality. He took no shortcuts in his work and double checked everything for safety to ensure the tow would be perfect. If that was not enough, I know he did everything he could to make me a very satisfied customer, which he did. As it turned out, it was a perfect tow and a perfect experience. Thank you Kauff’s. I was so lucky that I chose Kauff’s Towing. From beginning to end I was treated with the utmost in respect and courtesy while receiving customer service that was out of this world. They did an awesome and amazing job and for me they should be the role model for all Towing Companies on how to give exemplary customer service in a towing business. When my *private school* bus broke down I thought I'd be stuck for hours sitting with it, but Kauffs was very prompt in getting a truck out to me to save me & my bus. My driver, Kyle, was a really great guy... very professional & polite. First thing he did was offer me a seat in the cab (in the A/C) while he got the bus hooked up. I watched him in the mirrors, he made sure to get everything hooked up to the bus correctly for towing, double checked everything and off we went. Being a professions driver myself in very picky about others driving, but he was a very courteous driver and he safely returned me, and my bus, back to my school in one piece. And even got the bus parked where I didn't think it was possible to put it. Great Experience with Kauff's.

I rarely write reviews but I feel this is necessary. I want to thank Kauff's for their prompt service while we were disabled on I95 with our 45' Motor Coach. Your service technician Justin, was incredible. He was polite, professional and competent. He knew everything necessary that needed to be done and he didn't skip a beat. He lifted our coach with the utmost of care and brought it safely to the service facility. We can't thank Kauff's and especially Justin enough. Thank you for a painless and fantastic experience.

Justin came out to Vero beach to tow me all the way to Nextran in Orlando. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Justin understands the frustration and stress drivers are going through having to be towed and he is upbeat and accommodating. He is a good driver and I felt secure knowing my truck and trailer were in good hands. Thanks Justin and Kauffs towing for making a bad situation not feel so tough!

My experience here was the most unprofessional I have ever encountered. The heavyset woman was very rude, nasty, and confrontational. Our car was totaled and was taken there by FHP. We went to get our belongings and was meant with so much hostility by this woman. She has serious issues and my message is if you cannot provide professional service then stop contracting with FHP or police. People like myself have already experienced trauma and injury due to an accident then have to come in to this place and dealing with the lack of unprofessional and nastiest.

Hired them to load a truck/tractor onto my trailer first thing the next morning. When the arrogant wrecker operator showed up an hour late (his first call of the morning), he said I needed to hire one of their smaller wreckers in addition to him, to get the truck out from where it was sitting. I said no, and that I’d tow it out with my own tractor where he could get to it and I’d do it in less than 10 minutes. He got mad and left! I couldn’t believe it! I towed the truck out of the yard, and up the street a thousand feet using my aluminum trailer ramp on my truck as a tow bar and loaded the truck with an excavator that someone had near by. These guys suck and are a shame to the industry!

We had an amazing experience at the Port St Lucie /Fort pierce ! office. I especially enjoyed working with Casey -He helped to make our experience more pleasurable in an uncomfortable scenario performance towing helped us, and they were great as well

Fast, friendly and dependable towing service. Amazing person who came out and serviced my vehicle. He took his time, although it was raining, amazing service provided. My car made it to the destination safely. No complaints. I recommend this company for your towing needs.

Got my box truck stuck . Called Kauff’s and within 35 minutes they had a rotator out to help me . Dude names Chris clap , came out and did his thing ! Appreciate it dude !

Broke down on Christmas and they came got me no problems

They showed up even faster than what was anticipated. The man was super friendly, super nice. Got my daughters keys out of her car within a couple of seconds was very courteous and friendly very pleased with the service.
