I can’t say enough good things about Joe from Kauff’s Guardian Towing. After waiting nearly 3 hours on two other companies—one cancelled, the other ghosted me—Joe came through when I needed it most. His company gave me an ETA of 12:14 AM, but Joe showed up a solid 45 minutes earlier. That kind of promptness is rare and worth recognizing.
From the moment he pulled up, Joe carried himself with professionalism and respect. He was friendly, approachable, and turned what could’ve been a frustrating night into a surprisingly great experience. On the drive, we had a genuine conversation—shared a few laughs, he taught me a couple of things, and he gave me a new appreciation for the towing industry.
Employees like Joe are hard to come by. He’s not just doing a job; he’s representing the company in the best possible way. Kauff’s Guardian Towing is lucky to have him on their team, and I hope they realize the value he brings. Joe is a star employee, and he absolutely deserves recognition.

Edited to say: Joe even put these things down to keep the car from getting damaged when dropping it from the bed. He treated my car like it was his own and that NEVER happens with the other companies. Kauff's definitely has my business from now on.
Our BMW over heated on the turnpike we contacted Kauff's towing. The gentleman who drove us to BMW was very kind and took great care of our car and us. I couldn't get over how fast he got our car on the tow truck. He did it with a lot of care and got us inside the can fast it was 110 that day. We appreciate how great this company was and our driver.

The drivers side wheels went off an edge of about 10 inches and high center the axles. He assesed the job, and hooked up and before i knew it my trailer unstuck, and got me back on the road! Thank you! You saved my trip hauling freight down from South Dakota.
Great, I've gotten a tow for my jeep twice and I was taken care of both times, I got the same driver and he was wonderful even helping push the brick on wheels into the driveway
I can't believe they have a driver like the one we had to deal with on Monday, July 21, 2025, I95 Southbound from Palm Beach County until Fort Lauderdale, FL. All that trajectory, the driver was on the left line in the highway with his huge truck towing another big truck, and a long line of driver jist had to wait behind him. Pictures here. 551/20. Honestly wouldn’t even give it one star but since I have no choice, the lady at the front desk was so rude and had a nasty attitude! The big white lady with glasses, I have no clue what her name is but I was trying to understand why my sister’s towing fee was $500 for two nights and simply asked for the breakdown of the bill and she basically snapped at us, gave vague answers, told us that we could see the breakdown after we pay and receive the receipt, and rushed us to sign consents then claimed we were taking too long and someone was behind us waiting, we were literally at the counter for maybe 5 minutes at that point just trying to understand the bill. I don’t get why I had to pay before knowing what exactly I was paying for this place is money hungry, I would never go back!!!!! Plus when they dropped the car off at my place, the tow guy caused more damage to the front bumper ridiculous
Amazing professionalism and trustworthiness. Waited 4 1/2 hours for AAA. Canceled and called Kauff's. Was there within 40 minutes and never had one worry about getting in the truck at 11 at night! Would absolutely use them again!
I don’t normally leave reviews, but I had to give credit where it’s due. I was stranded on the side of I-95 late at night — it was pitch black, I was alone, and honestly, I was scared. GEICO gave me an outrageous ETA and I felt completely helpless. I called in to explain how nervous I was, and the dispatcher I spoke with (I think her name was Taren?) was amazing.
She actually listened to my concerns and took them seriously — something that doesn’t always happen. She communicated everything clearly and with so much empathy, and within minutes, she managed to get a different driver assigned to my call. He arrived way faster than I expected, and I was safely off the highway before things got worse.
I’m so incredibly thankful for how thoughtful and responsive Taren was. In a situation where I felt completely powerless, she really helped me feel heard and safe. That kind of service is rare these days. Thank you again!

Had a elderly friend that was sitting in the middle of the road broken down ..She was already waiting for a tow truck for hours ..and was kept being told it would be another 60-90 minutes..(she was already waiting 3 hours +)..etc etc etc....I had enough and called Kauffs in PSL....They were out within 15 minutes and got her truck to where it needed to go ..Glen was the driver and he was professional and handled everything with care ...The 2 dispatchers I talked to were awesome ...Thank you ladies....So , if you ever need a tow, please call Kauffs you won't be disappointed.....
We needed shipping container delivered and found out Kauff could do it! They were reasonable in price and quick to assist. Jason was very nice and knew what he was doing! When we found out there was a bee hive under it and it would make his working conditions not so pleasant, he still figured out a way to get the job done! His work ethic is rare in today’s world. Extremely grateful for him making the experience smooth!

I would give them ten stars if I could. Their customer service is next level. I called them on a Sunday afternoon with a broke down truck needing a heavy wrecker. The lady that answered the phone was awesome took all my information down put me on a brief hold to check with dispatch clicked back over and said she had a truck headed to me. I know that’s what they all say right. She was kidding in less than 30 min the wrecker was pulling in. The driver was awesome too. Very caring and eager to make sure we were comfortable first and foremost. And then began doing what he does best getting us hooked up and home. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone. Hope I don't need them again but I definitely know they will be there if I do.
I hated getting my truck towed today, but Chris clapp was just awesome. He's a people person, he was very Informative. He knew what he was doing. I'm getting out of being an independent, and thinking about applying for a towing job with Kauffs. Do something different. He says they're a great company, but this dude was great with me today, I just appreciated it. Hopefully he sees this or someone lets him know about this review, 11/4/24.
When I broke down on I-95 last Saturday in a 45 foot motor coach, Kauff Transportation Systems was recommended by my repair shop. When I called them the lady was professional and informative. As conveyed to me and on schedule, David showed up in a big beautiful rig, more than capable of towing my coach. He was awesome and he made a very difficult situation much better. Thank you!
Hired them to load a truck/tractor onto my trailer first thing the next morning. When the arrogant wrecker operator showed up an hour late (his first call of the morning), he said I needed to hire one of their smaller wreckers in addition to him, to get the truck out from where it was sitting. I said no, and that I’d tow it out with my own tractor where he could get to it and I’d do it in less than 10 minutes. He got mad and left! I couldn’t believe it! I towed the truck out of the yard, and up the street a thousand feet using my aluminum trailer ramp on my truck as a tow bar and loaded the truck with an excavator that someone had near by. These guys suck and are a shame to the industry!
Managed to blow out two of my tires the other night, called to schedule Kauff’s to come out in the morning. Adam was very prompt, let me know he was on his way and was even able to lighten the mood and remain positive despite my current situation! Adam’s keen eye also noticed that a separate tire was not in good shape and would need replacing, which I was not even aware of. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a tow happen so quickly and efficiently and I knew my vehicle was safe with him. He was even able to navigate St. Lucie Battery & Tire’s tight parking lot in the midst of construction.. will never use another towing company other than Kauff’s! Thank y’all!
Hit a major pothole and my oil started pouring out my jeep. Angel from Kauff’s showed up over an hour earlier than geico said and took my vehicle to the location I requested. Sent me a pic and message that my jeep was locked and safe. I am highly impressed with the urgency and professionalism i experience in this stressful time. Thank you
When my *private school* bus broke down I thought I'd be stuck for hours sitting with it, but Kauffs was very prompt in getting a truck out to me to save me & my bus.
My driver, Kyle, was a really great guy... very professional & polite. First thing he did was offer me a seat in the cab (in the A/C) while he got the bus hooked up. I watched him in the mirrors, he made sure to get everything hooked up to the bus correctly for towing, double checked everything and off we went. Being a professions driver myself in very picky about others driving, but he was a very courteous driver and he safely returned me, and my bus, back to my school in one piece. And even got the bus parked where I didn't think it was possible to put it.

I rarely write reviews but I feel this is necessary. I want to thank Kauff's for their prompt service while we were disabled on I95 with our 45' Motor Coach. Your service technician Justin, was incredible. He was polite, professional and competent. He knew everything necessary that needed to be done and he didn't skip a beat. He lifted our coach with the utmost of care and brought it safely to the service facility. We can't thank Kauff's and especially Justin enough. Thank you for a painless and fantastic experience.

Justin came out to Vero beach to tow me all the way to Nextran in Orlando. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Justin understands the frustration and stress drivers are going through having to be towed and he is upbeat and accommodating. We started our morning off with the car’s dead battery. Fortunately we have roadside assistance insurance and using our GEICO insurance app we were able to get a towing service to come to our house. Our insurance company sent Kauff’s Towing-Transportation, it arrived in less than a hour after we made the request for a tow truck. The driver was very professional and quickly had our car loaded on the back of his truck bed. He drove me with the car to the nearest tire & battery store, he then unloaded the car right where the store wanted it. Hopefully you’ll never need this service but if you do, I highly recommend you call Kauff’s Towing. They have great drivers, top equipment and fast response time.
