There website is misleading. They do not do steel. They only take brass, copper and aluminum. They also do not take electronics. They only take copper wire. Their prices and very low. Stay away !!
These people ripped me off with their prices had a few hundred pounds of aluminum at least half was clean wrote me up for dirty aluminum on top of that came in 20 cents less than Palm Beaches going rate... NEVER AGAIN
I recommend this place to anyone that has extra scrap metal and in need for some spare cash Its very well taken care of courteous employees and very helpful pulling up I do my best to throw them tip Everytime it’s well deserved ! Best place to go
When you pull up, unless they're all busy with a customer already, their employees come up to you to assist in lifting any of your scrap and they do their best to help you identify what you have if you have questions. I really appreciate them and they've kept me coming back. Honestly, it's one place that won't disappoint you. The employees were so respectful and nice, that I was surprised.
Since I don’t have a car, and ride my bike everywhere, they would not accept my metal. Even with Identification. I really needed that money for my kids.
In the country, common people save scrap from around the house (broken appliances, motors, pipes) and sell it as a product of dealing the great depression. Supposedly at this shop, only people who drive deserve to be able to do this.
I took a bunch of aluminum, they helped unload it, which I thought was nice. The money was good. They do not take steel so don't take it with you if you go here.
Today was my first experience at PSL Recycling and I would highly recommend anyone to visit and do business with ,Start to finish I was in and out in 15 -20 min.and the gentleman who helped me I forgot his name ,I just called him dredd he is from stuart ,he was super inviting and honest truly a stand up guy and will definitely return and recommend others ..Also they pay Top Dollar so go check them out.
I went to PSL recycling just to find out they are not honest at all. I had clean and some dirty aluminum. The helper separated the dirty from clean, than the scale master scam sent me to the office to get my cash. I decided to check my ticket and find out he weighed all as dirty thinking that I wouldn't know. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They will try to pull a fast one you.
It was easy to find, the gentleman took my copper and did his thing. Went to the office and the girl was very professional. Got my cash and went about my day. Very nice place to do business.
They dont really talk to you. They just put it up on scale and boom. .. they dont tell you the weight either. Only been to once.. so cant really say to not go there or yes..
Thay where great..really no waiting super nice. Gave me pioters on how thay like to receive stuff so i can get the most out of it..deff comeing back.thay have my business 5/29 and the lady in the front was super nice unlike other places I've been to in my lifetime
I read the other reviews that talked about not being honest with the weight and I disregarded it but today those reviews were proven correct. I brought in a porch last week off of a balcony which was easily 300 lb of aluminum and this week I brought in two of the same exact balcony and it was almost the same amount of money. I got 74 dollars irony for the last porch and I got 84 for the two on this trip. There's no way that two balconies was only 300 lb because I can easily carry a hundred pounds in my hands and my whole truck was filled up with aluminum so this will be the last time I come to this place. I don't know how they could mess with the scale but they do.
They ripped me off... they are liars and thief’s...do not deal with them you will be sorry..the employees should wear ski-masks this way at least you feel better about volunteering to be robbed !!
I used to think that this place was great, until I noticed things weren’t adding up, they don’t tell you price of your scrap, they under pay, customer service was nonexistent, they are not honest, a total rip-off makes me think how long they’ve been ripping me off
If they are bilingle then why they pretend they don't understand English cause I know the difference between zinc n cast aluminum n zinc is aleast .50 to .90 c per lb must hiring them for cash I think I'm call ICE on y'all find out if ur paying these illegals the proper pay I'll be upset if I find they are not got good green cards .n the owner is cheating people lowest price around oh he figured out a way to get rid of his competition as well he had something to do with getting scrap Gators shut down from buying from public, cause he has a monopoly on St Lucie area so he's making a fortune on cheating people who can't afford to drive to Stuart go make the drive to capital scrap metal it's worth it,,, this pt St Lucie recycling is a theif,,,, capital scrap is.20 higher on some things well worth the drive n pt St Lucie recycling only accepts ferrous metal no motors or steel he's corrupt don't go there unless you want to make less money
I brought them copper and brass the past couple times I think they rob people scales are off . They know how to off set the product so it don't read full weight. Give people wrong price. I'm done going there too off. Go to ft pierce or stuart .

Took in 120lb of brass and they didn't give me brass pricing.
No one spoke English
It was just a bad experience.
I would not recommend them at all.
Take the time and drive to Fort Pierce it is worth the money.

Customer service at this establishment was great. They told me how much each of my metals weighed when they were on the scales. My receipt explained how much my metals weighed and how much money I received for each one.
This place is a joke I gave them a bunch of clean aluminum they never showed me how much it weighed very poor customer service pretty sure they payed me as it being non clean I asked the guy who took it off he looked at me like i was crazy don't even think he speaks English I will never go back there and i will not recommend any one to go there as well take the extra drive to fort pierce.
