They didn’t give me a fair amount of money for the item(s) I was recycling.

They don't pay the price quoted. On the phone we were told $.15/lb for batteries but after leaving the receipt showed $.12/lb. I will say the weight was close to what I calculated. My last trip I lost way too much for cardboard boxes.

Been going there for years even when my dad was alive. He was going there when they first open in the 70s. Within the last to years tge scale guys have been sloppy, missing a lot of my stuff. Some of the new guys just grab stuff out of the truck. They need qualified guys on the scale that know what there doing. I'm not going back I'll save up and go to atland, Liberty in Palm beach or tmr in rockledge. Or big load to Tampa. Tired of being gypted.

Worst scrap yard we have ever used. Would not recommend them to anyone. Find a different scrap yard. This one has unfair practices.

I sold a bunch of old aluminum hurricane panels I had stored for years after replacing my windows. Had a great experience — quick, easy, and got paid well.

I run a moving company, and whenever we have old items clients don’t want, I bring them to Atlantic Coast Recycling. Been coming here for 5 years — always a good experience, fair prices, and great service every time.

I finally scrapped some old brass figures I had around the house for years, and I’m so glad I brought them to Atlantic Coast Recycling. They gave me top dollar and treated me with kindness and respect. Highly recommend!

Atlantic Coast Recycling is on another level — absolute legends in the scrap game. The service? Flawless. The staff? Friendly, fast, and always professional. These folks don’t just run a business — they run it with integrity, respect, and heart. They treat you right, pay top dollar, and make the whole process smooth from start to finish. First time or hundredth time, you’re in good hands here. Honestly, they make other yards look like amateurs. This is how it’s done.

It's definitely my last time going their . I said it before and sadly I went back with a nice load of clean only aluminum. Shame on me again. They are somehow messing with that scale. The scale only reads half of what you actually bring in. Then they quickly mix your stuff up with the other scrap to make it impossible to get your stuff back or have them re weight everything. They also don't give you your ticket when they weight. Only when you go get paid they give you your ticket for it to completely off . Half the weight of what you have. They are a team and are very good at ripping you off. They are ripping off and scamming the locals in the city of Fort pierce. It's sad and they are breaking the Law. Try to weight your stuff before you go and also check the scale before they quickly take it off and send you to hell..

First time recycling scrap. My dad hasn't been able to go, so I had my SUV loaded with rotors, radiator parts, engine heads, etc. The guys here were super helpful and I got cash up front. $142 was good for gas, groceries, and medicine. I am greatful.

For the first time it may be confusing if dropping off. There is a guard type structure that may or may not have someone in it. Either way this is with the way you go as they weigh you in and wear you out to get the weight of the product you’re dropping off they have a special drop off for the better metals like copper and stainless steel.

Rip offs scales are rigged.Brought in 102 lbs of extruded aluminum that I had weighed on two different scales before we got there they both read the same. Got to the window to get paid and they said it was 57lbs "BEWARE"! Go to Port Saint Lucie ! This is the second time I caught them doing this !!!!

I only go to scrap yards every 5-6 months. The copper and brass is mainly byproducts from the day job. I've been going here for about a decade. Today was all new people besides the woman behind the glass. Tip for any scrappers. Only bring 2-3 different metals at a time and weigh everything before going. Also, verify prices and grades. As the pictures show, a Home Depot bucket weighs about 1.7 lbs, but 6lbs was removed and I had 55lbs of #2 copper in this bucket. The bucket was filled to the top and 17lbs? I guess they thought I was new at this. My problem was I didn't pay attention until I got the receipt because I have been here so many times before why not sit back and let them unload and get it done asap. As you can see I was paid for 17lbs. My brass bucket is always 100% clean brass because I know the difference in price and making check valves and hose bibs free of metal takes seconds so I always do that but was paid dirty brass which is 1.50 less if I went to the other scrap yard. It's too bad, Ardy wasn't there.

I brought in a bunch of scrap metal. It was so close to closing after I unloaded my truck they told me and the labor person I brought with me to come back the next day for my money. So I did. I come in the next day to get my money and the labor girl I had help me the day prior came in and had some random guy put his I d and finger print down and ran off with my money. What kind of company runs like this. Then instead of paying me and pressing charges against the guy who put his finger print they try kicking me off the yard. Wow...

They are always nice here. Though if you go put up your own tail gate. Had many things in my in the middle of moving. At first noticed 1 thing missing as I unpacked other things are missing are in the road somewhere. What I lost isn't even close to what I scrapped. Extremely upset with them. Will not be going back.

Got a flat tire from driving thru their property, and they don't pay you, they "mail your check". Stupid.. at least print a check out than, andrun a magnet over your property. No body is gonna give you any scrap if they get a flat tire everytime they drive on your property.
