Below is my old one star review, thankfully since then this dump has improved unfortunately not much and their prices are still ridiculous, it's cheaper to go to a transfer station in Stuart where they actually have to transport the material to the dump. They do now have dumpsters where you can hand offload materials, which is a half measure, instead of of just building some concrete bays so people don't have to drive onto the trash pile and pop all their tires when they have more than they can offload into the dumpsters. The other issues is the 100 question game they play, half the stuff that falls under C&D anywhere outside of St Lucie county hey call hazardous, and won't let you dump it with the C&D. This means more money but also they literally ask if you have any of the materials one by one, it's C&D... we ripped down a building and threw it all in, I didn't know I was suppose to create a list of items. It also causes a backup on the scale. Worst ran dump, even in some of the good reviews they mention the truth, you have to drive over garbage to dump! Literally drive over a mountain of garbage and sharp objects with little to no fill on top to dump, it's the most expensive dump because of how many tires you'll be going through

Horrible, they don't use the dozers to grade the dirt, you are almost guaranteed to get a nail in your tire with just one visit. Stupid high prices, just another part of st lucie county that is ran by poorly chosen people.

The trash system is the worse! How do you discard move ins or outs in those little bins? A family of 4 need biweekly pick up and weekly bulk. The city is ugly with trash everywhere for weeks.

Just drove past this giant hill on the side of I-95 and was absolutely tickled to see a giant confluence of birds circling the area. More birds than I have seen at one time in a very long time!!! Love it, keep up the good work!

Staff members were nice, the fee was 5 dollars for dropping off regular trash.

If you have any electronics, don't come here thinking it's free to dump it. The St Lucie county website clearly states there's no charge but the Scale House said otherwise.

I own a junk removal business and this is my top #1 landfill to go to! The ladies are very friendly and helpful! At 1st, it is a little confusing to navigate, but as I mentioned before, the ladies help direct you to the proper site.

Google wants to know how the dump was. Well Google, it's a literal dump. Throw anyway anything you want. Enjoy picturesque views of garbage mounds with an almost indescribable aroma wafting through the humid air at rock bottom prices. Perfect for date night. Or better yet, bring the whole family! Fun for everyone.

Very nice for a landfill. Easy to navigate. The personnel at the scale house are nice and will answer any questions. That is where you check-in to let them know what you are bringing. They will weigh your car/trailer in and back out if you have a lot of stuff. Sometimes there is a charge to dump. You will need to look that up for specifics.

Very well organized landfill. Weight station employees and machine operators are friendly. Unfortunately going to the top of the landfill is steep and tons of sharp objects. Left and had a blowout a mile from the landfill on I-95. Had a piece of metal the lodged against my tire and caused a tire blowout. Check your tires before leaving the landfill, would have prevented my tire blowout.

Absolutely the best customer service I've experienced in a while in Florida. Pricing was fair for vegetation and everything was smooth and easy.

I take my recyclables here. The ladies as you drive in are pleasant and friendly . Not bad for a dump. I wish they'd get new recycling bins. The lids are mostly broken. I don't get why people have to be so smarmy with their comments. The poor things don't have any fun in their lives I guess.

Loved seeing this mountain. My family and I hiked to the top and had a picnic to enjoy the views.

Yesterday we took old doors to the land fill. It was three (3) trips. The girls at the weight station are friendly

Truckers avoid at all costs. No way to get loaded without multiple nails and only dock is constantly blocked by 4 wheelers with trailer dumping refuse in front of your truck. So no backing or pulling out once your actually done.

Never have had a bad experience here. The ladies upfront are very sweet and the equipment operators seem to be in good moods when I run across them.

We regularly drive to the landfill to drop off large cardboard boxes, styrofoam, plastic bags, and the occasional household waste. The personnel are amicable and we appreciate their pleasant demeanors.

I'm a small contractor and this place is a joke. I'm stuck driving to the top of hill that's all debris with nails, wood, and metal everywhere for me to drive over. I spoke with some unfriendly staff if they help with repairs to tires and alignment and I get a laugh. I then asked if he would drive his personal vehicle to the top and I got another laugh. If I had not been to the Stuart dump to seen how clean and organized everything is you would think St Lucie is the normal but it's not. Do Better! Have some care for the customer and resident.

Well I come here all the time to dump and never do I get greeted nor do I get a hello goodbye from the lady's who work in there. It's very rude for them to not even say this in such a beautiful state. Yes it's a dump bit come on kindness at the office would make it nice to hear. Leaving a 1 star because of the office lady's at the weight office!

The employees here were very friendly. I got lost and they helped me find my way. Be careful when you go there's a lot of very big vehicles rolling around the place. Surprisingly the place did not smell. I asked the kid that took care of my expired gasoline and he explained it. So if you go there you don't have to wear a mask because it stinks at least it didn't where I was at at the bottom of the pile. I basically felt like I was next to the tallest hill in the State Of Florida a pile of garbage.

Everyone there always working hard but sometimes it’s hard to find somewhere to dump construction demolition, but the cashiers always do their best to direct you where to go. I believe they should have couple of directors to give you a proper direction on the compound so we don’t have to stop a tracker Worker to ask them where can you dump your demolition.

God forbid you have to drive up the hill. Youre driving over old lumber and trash to dump. I pulled 3 nails out of my tires after. Another guy said hes counted 20 hes had to plug this month. Theres absolutely no excuse not to have a road for access. Even if its just fill dirt covering the trash. You can tell they havent tried and don't care. At least at martin county if you complain they send the guy around with the magnet sweeper

Witnessed poor judgement of a small gator operator positioning itself too close to a payloads. The result was a collision, damage, that could have been avoided. Folks, ....Stay away from large vehicles and give them room. Their line of site has many visual obstructions.

I don't have a picture of the place. The lady at the cashier's station was helpful to get you to where you would need to go. When I last visited to haul away residential demolition waste, located at the south side of the large building, it was really hot with no wind. Bring water and ice. Get in, get out, don't linger..my dump run mantra.

Great food at reasonable prices. Service sub standard. Took forever to find a waitress. We won't go back. Especially with no breakfast buffett. Hear the place is turning into a real dump. Not surprising.

A little confusing as where to go once your inside and not much direction is available when your driving around. Plenty of place to dump, I'm just not always sure that's where I'm supposed to be as I often get conflicting information from different people.

Took about 10 short tree branches weighing 20 pounds there and was charged $4.50! I asked what for? Response was there's a $4.00 minimum. Didn't see that during my research. My bad! In the future I'll leave yard debris for scheduled pick up; however last experience getting a large pile picked up took three weeks. Grass under that pile was dead when they finally picked it up.

Heard about this place and came for the dollar all you can eat buffet. Smelled a little dumpy, but the food was good. Got chased off by the wildlife in the middle of of our meal though! Would have given 5 stars if it weren’t for the coyotes.
