If you want a company to give you a half a day window and then not show up and then when you call you get a hold of a rude person in the office that sends you to a rude dispatcher to tell you it’s a 48 hour window To tow a vehicle then this is your company…
After reading the reviews, literally years of bad ones, I am convinced that the only reason they are in business is because they are subcontracted through pick and pull…
As a dispatcher myself, I can never imagine talking to my customers the way this dispatcher that works at this company talk to me and my husband earlier if you don’t wanna work in customer service, then don’t work in customer service but you don’t have to take your misery out on the people who are missing work because you didn’t put in a work order… We wanted to be at work, and obviously the dispatcher at this company does not considering her attitude… Anyway, anywaysi, I guess
Supposed to be secured storage. I had my personal belongings rummaged through leaving everything open and $1200 of valuables taken. They said make a claim with your insurance.
Would give zero stars of if I could. They tore my front bumper and put grease stains all over my inside leather. Terrible company do not care about the vehicles.
My daughter's car was deemed a total loss by our insurance company after the recent flooding in Tallahassee. This was a very difficult time for us and the insurance company was absolutely wonderful and made the loss as easy as possible. Until it was time to remove the car. The insurance verified the location of the car and made a note for Copart to CALL ME when they were coming to get the car. Three days later I got a call from the insurance company saying they needed to set up the information to have the car towed. I said "that was done three days ago." I was informed that the tow truck driver said the car was inaccessible. I again reiterated they needed to CALL ME before coming so we could move the rental car for them. Two days passed and I heard nothing so I called the insurance company who called Copart. She came back and said they will be out there today. Once again I reiterated to CALL ME before coming. By 5 pm I had heard nothing. My family and I went to a school function that evening and on the way back we saw them leaving our house with the car. They had not called me. Granted the car was accessible at that time but the fact remains that the DID NOT FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. not sure if they can't read, won't read, didn't read, or just didn't care.
The gentleman that helped us and the office staff were very respectful and went above and beyond to help us look for something that belonged to a family member that passed away in a car accident
One Star is highly overrated! I think Zero stars should always be an option, and in this case Negative Stars would be appropriate. The office personnel were rude, as minimally helpful as possible, and unprofessional. The handling of drivable vehicles caused damage to my car. They use a heavy duty forklift and carry the vehicle by the undercarriage. The nature of the forklift causes the car to bounce repeatedly off of the forks of the lift. That means the full weight of the vehicle’s undercarriage is dribbled like a basketball on the forks. No undercarriage is designed to take this sort of abuse. Copart will never get repeat business from me!
Very slow loading times. Fork lift operator just sitting there waiting for a driver to adjust and secure each individual car. Instead of loading one car, then going to look for next car and then go back to load other driver when he was ready. He chose to sit and wait about 10 minutes instead, until the driver who was inside his truck felt like returning to secure the car on his trailer.
My car was taken here by STATE FARM INSURANCE. These people are the absolute worst. After an accident you've already had so much taken from you, yet these people can't resist themselves from pickpocketing you and lying to your face about it. They stole many items from my car. They tried to steal my license plate and I had to fight to get it back. They destroyed my license plate (which I had to pay a fine to the state of FL for) by ripping it off the back of my car instead of taking out two screws. Lazy, no good, awful people! If your insurance company wants to take your car here, be prepared for some heartache!!!!!
My truck was taken to this location so my insurance adjuster could appraise the damages from an accident. Items were stolen out of my truck and they didn’t want to give me any documentation to say who had access to my vehicle while it was there, they also did more damage to my truck by transporting it around with a front end loader with forks.
So far I've been here three times and yet to have been let in. They must be protecting fort Knox here. First you got to register then you got to have a mask on. Then you have to have a green vest on then you have to have steel-toed shoes then you have to have a registration lot number this is ridiculous. The employees hide behind their barriers don't even bother coming out to talk to you. Rude.
All I wanted to do was look at a car for pete sakes.
Had a bit of a difficult time picking up a car but the front desk employee Jennifer was very helpful and double checked everything to make sure my experience there was the best. Good job
I am buyer / broker at Copart. I Purchased a vehicle with "engine start program" at this yard . When went to pick up a vehicle the engine have huge hole . No oil in the engine. Paid about $17000 for this vehicle. Pay Attention this is insurance vehicle. I have spoke with yard supervisor about this and he is rude, unprofessional. He turn around and acused me and said it's my problem that the engine doesn't start . The engine been tossted by copart . Copart did started engine with out oil, why would they do that ? They been selling vehicle for what about 20 years or more. Yard manager said they are not mechanics and had no reason to believe, that there is no reason to check engine oil before starting "wrecked" car. I asked for some compensation, he said no. Just a advice do not trust this particular yard yard judgement, they will take your money and you will get something that they misrepresent. With bad engine, missing parts . Bid accordingly. I buy 100's of cars and very bad experiences from this copart yard.
Bought a nice, cleaning looking car (judging by photos) and received a complete trash, filthy. Beware, most of their cars are not as described or pictured in the pictures.
As many fees as Copart charges, you'd think they could afford some gravel at this lot. Half of the lot is muddy sand where you can't remove medium or heavy duty lots without help. Trailers and boats, semis etc sunk down in the mud. Not buying here again. Columbia SC yard is the same way
Purchased a BMW here. The only disclosed damage was Top/Roof. When I received the vehicle the damage was All Over. The pictures were deceiving and other damages should've been disclosed. Don't buy vehicles unseen at this location.
The vehicle that I bought before that had a major electrical issue and was advertised as "Run and Drive", and Damage as: Minor dents and scratches. All the lights were on, the engine was misfiring, and wouldn't go into gear.
My boyfriends car was totaled during hurricane Michael and our insurance company said the car would be taken on a specific day. The tow company came a day early. When we went to copart to take our personal belongings from the car everything was gone. We had sentimental items which are now gone forever. When we asked the guy there he said that’s all there is. Very disappointed as we are still recovering from hurricane Michael then this happens.
Nice clean facility. Fairly fast service. Friendly helpful employees. It is off the interstate at exit 192. A little confusing to get to because it is over a mile off the I 10 frontage road.
