William was so kind and helpful through a tough situation! He answered my questions and helped me get everything I needed. When I left my license plate behind he coordinated well with me to make sure I got it in a timely manner.
Horrible company, horrible people, horrible service. If I could give zero stars I would. My friends car got towed over the weekend, they said we could get it back that day for an extra $100 (so a total of $355) but never got back to us on any updates we had to practically pry information out of them. 3 different people had to call to even attempt to get the car back. Each time they gave us little to no information, and they even declined our calls multiple times. They said we can get it on that upcoming Monday for $255 then charged $315 for their awful service that wasn’t helpful in the slightest. Just an overall awful experience and awful customer service and I’m sorry if you ever have to deal with any of the unhelpful people that work at the establishment.
A friend had their vehicle hooked up to the tow truck right when we walked out. We were told we had 5 minutes to get $80 cash or we could pay the $210 impound fee. We agreed to pay credit card and driver R told us they only deal in cash with his company. In Orange County they are required by law to give you 15 minutes and must accept credit/debit payment. I called the company last night and employee C said the pickup wasn’t even reported. Then this morning the secretary said no record of the pickup could be found and she assured me at 8:45 someone would call me back by day’s end. At 4:30 PM I called and she said the same after apologizing for no one reaching out and again assured me that someone would call me back. Nothing yet. I’ll continue to share reviews as I learn if this is one employee or if it is indicative of the company. I know in Orange County these actions were illegal, anyone know Seminole Co. laws on towing?
(Update: 36 hours after being told a manager, then the owner would be reaching out, no one has called. Local law enforcement has assured me this company is shady at best. Further updates coming as they unfold)
This has to be the worst tow company anywhere. It is one of the worst companies. This company ripped off part of my lower front fender. The towing cable also sliced opened my front passenger side shock. When I called the company to see if they are willing to discuss the damages that were done, they denied even being there. Then they said that God was going to punish me.
UPDATE: It appears that this tow company was working without having insurance. There is at least one BBB complaint against this company. However, it's misleading, it implies that this company is owned by a church. Safer database shows thar this company is owned by someone else. Safer also shows that their USDOT number is inactive. Finally, this companies purported address is shared by other companies owned by the same married couple.
I called yesterday at 1:30 and I was told they would be here in two hours. Well close to 4 I called and no answer, 4:15pm no answer just a text saying the driver would be calling me there was no call or text from the driver. I pull up to the office this morning the van is still here so I will be calling a more dependable tow company for our Company tows from now on.
This review is based on "sharing" the road with their vehicle, or more accurately, being on the receiving end of an inconsiderate and reckless driver. Traffic was merging to a single lane due to construction on the roadside. When I signaled I would be merging, the wrecker drive began speeding up so that when I did merge they needed to slow down, followed by laying on their horn. Once past the construction, they pulled into the opposite lane and rapidly accelerated away. At the following series of lights, I observed the driver continuing to quickly accelerate rapidly and move across lanes. I would not trust them towing my car based on how I observed them driving through Oviedo.
If my mom needed a tow truck, Richard would be the one i'd trust to help her. He made a difficult situation so much easier and went above & beyond to help. Professional & compassionate - got Oviedo Road & Wrekcer programmed in my phone now, just in case of being stranded again! Like...dial-a-rescue. :)
New owners as of 7/10/2022. I spoke with Richard who drove the towing truck. He was above professional, and happy to help in my time of need.
He towed our SUV to the Toyota dealership, dropped of the keys at the dealership, and quickly picked up the phone when I called to make sure everything arrived safely at the Toyota dealership to be fixed.
I highly recommend this service to anyone who finds themselves needing a trustworthy, and professional towing company.
Driver richard admitted to me he saw us park and saw us look at him but did not flag us over or tell us we should not park in this empty parking lot at 6 pm on a tuesday night because "it's not his job" and also " then he would have not been able to tow the car and charge us". Legal yes. Moral/ethical.... not in my book. I sure hope there is karma in the world. Since the car was parked at a church and god may have spoken to us and said that was okay to park here, why would a tow company defy gods will. And no the driver was not saying it in a joking manner. As a claimed vet , honor and morals are something that should part of your code.
Worst towing service, call someone else! The tow truck driver that said he was also the manager was very careless and rude. He damaged my tire and lied about. The tire shop confirmed it was the tow truck driver that damaged it. Terrible company and employees!
Scam. Works directly with the drunk security guard at The Strand and Park Place. He gets a portion of the money. He drives around on his scooter drunk and gets any parked car without a sticker for even 5 minutes. Very rude. Very unprofessional.
They were WONDERFUL!!!! My car was stolen from Orlando then was in an accident in Oveido. They towed my car to their facility and securely stored it. I went up there and paid them for their services. I found from my insurance company since the car was stolen road side assistance would not pay to tow the car to my home. Oveido Road and Wrecker could have put it to me with toeing fees but instead were kind. They were lower than other tow companies. I highly recommend them! They did a Wonderful job towing my vehicle to my home even putting plastic wrap over my window so the rain would not get in.
Mike was very polite and helpful. I was stranded at the grocery store parking lot and he came to my aid. Hopefully won't need to be towed again but if I did, I'd call these guys.
I was told on the phone they would be able to accomodate my work schedule and meet me after hours. The guy on the phone was pretty nice. I arrived a bit earlier than the agreed meet time. No one was there so I waited. The meeting time comes and goes, so I call. The guy tells me to call the guy thats supposed to be there and says "he'll definitely answer". We call and he does not answer. I leave a voicemail and wait. Still nothing so we call a bit later. The guy claims to know nothing about us meeting and hes "just the guy who answers the phone." We end up waiting about 45 minutes when a tow truck pulls in and lo and behold, its the guy who "just answers the phone." Doesnt say a word to us and just goes into the back lot. So we wait by the office, unsure if we are allowed to go back there. After another 10 minutes, I just decide Im going back to see what is going on. I just wanted to pay and get my car, but the guy felt the need to give me a whole lecture about parking which is whatever, but he was incredibly rude about it and started trying to bad talk us lol. I gad already paid and signed and he just would not stop until I had to straight up say I didnt want to hear what bad things he had to say and I just wanted my car. It was a big ordeal that should have taken 10 minutes but took over an hour. Also, theyre cash only.
I find it funny the amount of people that say they damage cars, when the picture is their car in the spot. Or their rude, when you got towed for whatever reason, whether it be you wernt supposed to be in that area or whatever. Park ur car right and you'll not have to worry bout it. Every time I've used these guys, to tow many vehicles, theyve always been great. I've seen them do their work, firsthand, even got to ride with their night driver a few times, and hes showed me just how diverse their job can be. They dont damage cars, either it be a Honda Civic or a Corvette or BMW, that wasnt already damaged, that's what before-tow pictures are for. People have jobs to do, theirs is to tow, And they do it very well. Damned if you do, damned if u dont
This place is horrible and unprofessional. A couple months ago my car broke down and they came to pick my car up to bring it to the shop ..... while we are driving, the tow truck that came to rescue me breaks down and I had to wait 30 mins on the side of the road for another tow truck to get there. After getting inside the new tow truck the driver gets PULLED OVER by the COPS bc of something being expired. It was a nightmare. When they were picking my car up they also took more than 2 hours and kept saying they were 10 mins away every 10 mins and some guy shows up wearing Nike slides and jean shorts really unprofessional business. That whole process made my day even worse besides my car breaking down in the first place.
THEY ARE RUDE , SOOO RUDE ! I got my car towed and I have a low car and expensive car so I guess when they we're towing it scratched up my back bumper so badly I just want to cry ! And I just started going off ! But if I could give this service a 0 I would !
This company is a direct affiliate of Park Place Apartments located in Oviedo, Fl. Both of which are simply out to take peoples hard working money. My vehicle had been parked at my little sisters apartment complex, as I am an out of town visitor with my young family. After going to get breakfast and returning with food for my said family, my vehicle was removed from the parking lot area. Less then 1 hr to bring up food, eat and leave for the day. The Owner John stated that he loved exploiting people for their money and this was how we was paying for his retirement. I think it is shameful to treat other people in such as manner. The money hungry capitalist are currently winning and we need to call these people out. It was a war on humanity! I will no longer ask for permission to live my life!
My car was stolen and then subsequently found by the police and towed to this location during the weekend. I called the next day (Sunday) to coordinate getting my car and I was told the shop was not open on the weekends. I went in the during the week to look at my car and get my personal belongings before I had to leave out of town for the Thanksgiving Holiday and coordinate the recovery with my Insurance Company because I did not have the keys or a duplicate set. During that time, I gave them my ID and signed some paperwork and the Lady at the desk did not tell me that they were charging $25 a day for the car to sit at their location or else I would have had it towed to a repair shop. Today I got a certified letter in the mail stating that they had been charging me $25 a day for my car to be there with over a $350 bill, and I called and asked why they did not explain that to me while I was there in person. The lady stated she did not feel that she had to inform me, and she stated they typically do not inform their customers because they know the insurance companies will typically pay those charges! Which in my book is not being very upfront and honest about their business policies. They essentially let is sit there a couple of days, then decided to notify me of the charges via a certified letter in the mail. So, please be careful if your car is towed there and ask them to explain all of their policies to you up front (vs. letting charges accumulate and then tell you later via the mail). Not good business practices at all.
My first ever review of any business. This company was dispatched by my insurance company. I received a text saying that a truck would be to my location within 60 minutes. After 60 minutes of waiting, I called to find out the status. The dispatcher told me that it would be another hour. When I told him that the text said 60 minutes, he said that I was told it would be 2 hours. When I disagreed, he said that they weren't going to come at all and hung up. Worst customer service ever. Athens Towing from Sanford came and the service, dispatcher, and Terrell, the driver were all excellent.
Awesome service. They came out to change a flat tire on my vehicle. They arrived in a timely manner, pricing was reasonable and had great customer service. I would definitely call on them again. Thanks!!
Damaged my driveshaft now Im stuck with a $1200 repair. Truck vibrates terrible at certian speeds until repaired. This is after I paid them $450 for two separate tows to get the transmission rebuilt.
Oviedo Road and Wrecker are the WORST. After towing my vehicle, there were many scratches and a small dent that appeared. I asked the dispatcher, John, about it and he was extremely rude and said they aren’t liable for any damage even if they caused it. What?!? I got through to the owner but she kept referring me back to rude John. DO NOT USE this towing company - EVER.
My driver JP was amazing. Very friendly and he was able to diagnose and fix my vehicle which saved me the hassle of being without a car and saved me the labor charge from the repair shop. He was also very careful as he popped off my console cover to gain access to the problem. JP you ROCK!
The owner will not give me the receipt for my tow to turn into insurance until I pick up some part from him that he ordered (because they damaged my car when towing it). I did not ask for this part to be ordered and I'm pretty sure this is illegal to hold MY information hostage. Not to mention I do not want people working on a car they damaged in the first place. I will be contacting the BBB.
This company was responsible for the delivery of materials purchased from a warehouse materials company in Orlando. They completely mismanaged this delivery. They were extremely late delivering our order and caused us a lost day of work and financial loss. Unfortunately the materials company who contracted them took most of the hit for their inability to uphold commitments. Oviedo Road and Wrecker Service needs to seriously re-evaluate their processes because they are hurting their customers reputation and causing loss for others involved.
Avoid them at all cost! If your roadside assistance assigns them, request another company! The wrecker damaged my bumper and had the audacity to say it was like that. John the dispatcher refused to provide me the owners name and hung up on me! Spoke to the wrecker Albert, l think his name is and he kept saying no no no l reported to the office. Luckily l have pictures right before they came to pick it up and my mechanic immediately sent me the pictures of the damage they caused to my truck. No wonder the wrecker told me not to worry to about signing anything cause he didnt want me to get close to see the damage. My insurance company is now in the process of removing them from the list of options for roadside assistance. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST!
If I could give them negative stars or even zero I WOULD!! They are UNRELIABLE!!! I called to have my car towed and was given an ETA of 6:40pm it's now 9:51pm and they have not towed my car. AVOID THIS TOWING COMPANY AT ALL COST. I DO NOT EVEN KNOW WHY THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Got my car stolen it was found in oviedo . when I called to get information a man name Tommy came to the phone and he was very nasty and started talking down to me. If I didn't need my car they would not get my business. One bad employee will ruin a bunch. Go else where if u want to be treated like a person.
