What clients say about Glueck's Auto Parts II Inc in North Port (FL)
Best junkyard I've ever been to. I've tried them all, all over the states, and this one is always the best. Best cars and trucks best prices and the nicest guys working there.
I got almost got scammed here. I brought my 4000 pound car here and they offered $180.Please go out your way to the junkyards in Bradenton I got $480 for my car there
LOOOOOVE this salvage yard! We've been to a lot over here and on the east coast in West Palm Beach, this one is definitely the best! Best prices, so organized, if it's raining it's ok because everything's on pavement so you're not sinking in the mud! Great selection of cars and trucks! And I love that they have a section with smapp machines like golf carts, 4 wheelers, motorcycles, lawn mowers, and any kind of machinery lol Great for getting those random parts I need.
Top place just got a part for my Toyota T100 .saved me $65 . Brilliant well recommended. Just happened to have a truck in same age as mine 25 years old.they don't get many because they last for ever.👍👍👍
Always have a really good time and I go there. The staff there is two guys are they're all right. They've been there for years. They know the answer no exactly what they're talking about and I always like I said I always have fun with them
They have great prices and always have every thing I'm looking for.
2 of my guy friends who have older jeeps, needed parts...yep they had them. Got parts they needed. They needed a ride. $3 to get in to actual car playground. Bring your own tools.
Well organized. Call ahead and they'll tell you, the # & year of cars on the lot which meet your description. When you get there they search there computer database then print out for you each car meeting your description, including the color & location on their vast lot. $3 entry fee good all day. Wheel barrows available. They take credit cards. Returns possible for a credit. Glueck's was recommended to me by my dealership, auto repair and parts shops, auto headliner shops etc that couldn't supply the part I needed. Bring your own tools, including battery power tools & WD 40, to help remove old parts.
Big ol' junkyard and pull a part lot, costs 3 bucks to get in though so I wouldn't go site seeing, know what you need, you'll be searching for a good long while.
Paid $3 to get in but they only had one car for a tail light that I needed and it cost me almost as much as a brand new one $24 plus the $3 that I paid to get in I should have just bought a new one. But they do have a good amount of vehicles there that you can pull parts from yourself but you have to bring your own tools again now. It's a good thing I had them.
Love this place! Billy is always there and if you find a part like a rim that has some rash he'll work with you, prices are listed on entry but if they're not in the best of shape, or need work you can make a deal. Entry fee is still $2 and they'll print you a list of the vehicle you're looking for and where you can find them. It's one of the best yards in the Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte county area, lots of different cars and inventory is consistently fresh, I've rarely seen a car sitting for more than a couple months before it's crushed and a new is moved in. Besides cars you can find a ton of bicycles, lawn mowers, and other goodies. Prices are great compared to other yards and the people that work there are helpful and friendly. They have a HUGE selection of tires and rims, I've seen a nearly new sets priced very reasonable.
Very convenient, when they have what you need. Staff is supportive, offering extended credit onpurchasrs if you dont find what you need. A proven resource and a local icon.
I've come here for years and they are constantly improving! The yard has expanded and become much more organized. You can even go to their website and figure out if they have the vehicle you're looking for and even what aisle you'll find it in! If you need to pick parts, this should definitely be your go to place.
I absolutely love this place. It might as well be my second home. Their online inventory and parts pricing chart make it really simple and they're able to print you a full part interchange list for almost any vehicle part you're looking for. The lot is also easy to navigate with their current layout and organization
Ok today was my first time ever going to Glueck's Auto Parts over all I rate it a 4 star I was very impressed with the lay out of the lot and I lived the fact that the lot rules are right there for you to see before you even enter the lot. If you tell them when you check in what vehicle you are looking to get part's from they will give you a print out of how many of that vehicle they have and the row you can find it on and in this heat that is a life saver I only have one complaint and that is this is the only salvage yard I've been to in my life that will charge you for a core on everything but plastic it may only be a few buck but a few bucks is a few bucks and they do this because they are also a scrap yard I really don't care for the way that do that but over all a great please to do business extremely kind amd helpful staff
Great you-pull-it place with an inventory level significant enough for my purposes. Their website has inventory and price lists. Be sure to weigh your options because in some cases it is cheaper to buy a new version of your required part online. Overall, Glueck's is worth checking out and anyone with even a little ability with hand tools can save hundreds compared to a dealer (and you know it's done right).
Very nice yard usually have what I need. The cars are all lifted up. They offer carts and engine hoists. Over all a nice u-pull it yard. Prices are a little high for a u-pull on both parts and entry fee but the same as other yards in the area. They do charge core fees on EVERYTHING so bring your old parts even if it's a small plastic piece.
The place is organized and the prices are right. The cars are up off the ground so you don't need a jack. The website will be up soon with a way to view vehicles, you can always call and ask if they have what you are looking for and to find out the interchangeable years. $2 entrance fee and they have wheel barrels to help carry your parts easier! The
It's good, would be nice if the isles were labeled a little better but it's still a good junk yard and the prices are decent just be prepared to wrench its a upick so u got to wrench it off the car yourself no big deal just make sure u bring some liquid wrench !!!
Needed a jack for my 2011 Ford Focus. I checked the website beforehand and saw that they had got in a 2011 just a couple weeks before. They remove jacks from the vehicles and have them in a bin at the front gate. There it was right on top! And the price was right. Thank you!
Called and asked if they had a bumper for my 2006 GMC. The guy said " we got a couple trucks out there" I asked if they had bumpers. He said " I don't know, you'll have to come here and see" Really?
Guys were great and helped me out. Parts were easy to find and get to which to me is important due to walking issues. Thank you. I will be back there soon. Will take and post pics on next trip.
I love it.best one in swfl hands down.
Used to be the best around now they have the highest prices and entry fee , core charges on everything! seriously they wanted to charge a core charge on interior plastic trim. walked out without buying when they wanted to charge more than new prices on most of the items in the 2 carts i had full of parts, I will not go back. I'd rather drive father and pay less for the parts I need and just go to A&A (free entry), LKQ($2), MSB(free), or Garden St ($1) .... if their management reads this please know I used to spend about $500 a month at your yard.
Very helpful workers, and they can tell you what parts are compatible with your vehicle, and they give an exact row location of the donor vehicle. They rotate the stock regularly so if you find a donor vehicle get all you need. Also sell sets of tires and they are good quality tires.
Way toooooo expensive...😠😎 I was looking to fix my sons car handle...we took this pice so we c an find the right part ,we pay to enter $3.00 each and signed, then we ask the guy for cars availability to find it...we find two almost the same but we dont take it, because probablywas something differentto fix it in the car,but by the we enter he never mark the handle to know belongs to us before entering....so when we go out he want us to pay $10.00 for it...if you go and look for parts make sure they mark your tools or stuff you are looking, was our mistake, but theirs too...I'm not drive 40min and pay for looking for parts for an hour to stolen that S....D thing... Other than that I been there looking for parts and find it fast...service SOSO..
Great place and prices. Got parts for my Mercedes for a fraction of the cost of new. Just make sure to bring something to lay on if you are getting under the car. The concrete is hot. Haha
Great way to save money on car/truck parts for the DIY guys. The part I got was no longer available on line or at the dealer.
Cost is $2 per person to go in. Price for parts is cheap enough. Seemed to me they knew what most of their inventory was. There were a couple of vehicles they missed, but their printout with locations was fairly complete. Price was a little high for small parts, but where can you go and find them? So supply and demand. Inventory seems to turn over. I will continue to go there for used parts.
Regarding the recycle part of the business, it is a very dishonest business. I have gone there over several years and each time came back with that conclusion. Recently, I stopped in with two items, to understand and get a something on paper how the place works with approximate prices. I have two trailer loads of similar items and wanted to determine an approximate amount of $'s I would get vs my time to bring then in. All I got is, "we don't have anything", a bad attitude and "we will tell you later (after you drop the stuff off) what you get". The guy that runs the place has a window where you can not see his face, only talk. Would not commit on what items get what price, only said get on the scale, you get 4 cent a pound. Have been there before and got about $22 for same AC, this time I added a large microwave, this time I got $6. The guy that runs the operation (customer cashier) is arrogant, better than you and does not give a "sht" about you. Will never go back, this is an extremely dishonest business..
