Doug was quick, professional and showed up exactly when he said he would be here. Doug made sure that my car was handled exactly the way it needed to be done so it wouldn't get damaged. I've had other tow companies that definitely don't have the tools and equipment to handle my car(s), but Doug's company was well equipped and made the tow stress free. Amazing service. Stan's Pro Tows was able to help me change a flat tire and get to Discount Tire for repair within an hour. I was back on the road in 2.5hrs and was able to get home to Texas in time to celebrate my wife's birthday. Would highly recommend this towing service to anyone who is visiting or living in Florida. In addition, Will Smith was very professional and friendly and can't thank him enough for his help. I wish he worked in Texas instead!!!!!

Great company! I had to get my car towed from an accident that happened while I was at work. I called and the guy on the phone was super friendly, gave me the price, which was very affordable. I'm so happy with the service I received from this company, from the call that I made to tow my car, to the great service that they provided. Will Smith, such an awesome guy, he came earlier than expected since per my conversation with the lady when I did my appointment I told her I needed to have an early start, so he came on a good time and I was able to take my car to the shop for my appointment. My car died last night. I tried jumping it, but the battery was completely dead. My insurance company sent Stans Pros out of Clermont, and every interaction I had with them was great. Lisa was super friendly and helpful, and the tow truck driver (I can't remember his name) was really friendly, arrived on time, and figured out the problem was with a loose battery connection rather than some other issue. Saved me so much time and money, and I didn't even need to get towed. I'm super grateful!

Stranded on the side of the road and using my roadside assistance with State Farm for the first time, they contacted Stans. Imagine my surprise when I got to talk to my home state in the process. Stephanie (I think) was amazingly helpful, and my driver Sam here in Clermont was just as reassuring and professional. I needed a tow. They said it would be an hour. So I went to work. They were supposed to call when they were on the way. They never called. It’s effecting my work waiting on them. And I lost money. I call an hour and a half thinking they were just running late. When I called it was already towed, but no one called. The receptionist said they were supposed to call and she thought it was funny they didn’t call and she laughed about it. That’s my time and money lost. Rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful.

Had the misfortune of our insurance selecting these folks when I got a flat. After hours of waiting on a Saturday they towed to the wrong shop, despite explicitly telling the driver and HQ guy where it needed to go. They purposely ignored my instructions, brought it to a shop that wasn't open until the following Monday, and damaged the bumper in the process.

Like many other reviewers, my insurance company called Stan's on my behalf (State Farm). I had no choice in using them. The transmission went out in my vehicle early afternoon on a Friday. Dealership was open till 6pm. Called for the tow at 2:30 pm, was told 90 mins to two hrs. Ok. A young lady calls me to verify my info 2 hrs later and to tell me they are running behind. Frustrating, but ok. She proceeds to hang up on me once and repeatedly put me on hold to answer her other line while trying to verify literally three pieces of information when she calls me back. She was nice enough, but come on, you called me! I was super patient, still. She proceeds to tell me another hour or so. Ugh, ok. I still have time to make it to the dealer by 6. My husband and I are now taking turns using his car running the small errands around town we needed to get done separately while one of us stays home waiting because our day is shot waiting but we still have things to get done. While I'm in a store, Stan's calls me again. We're 45 mins out she says. Ugh, they were supposedly that already, but ok. I let my husband know who is waiting with the car and I rush home. Forty-five mins come and go, no truck. Now, the dealer is closed. Long story short, they FINALLY show up at 7 pm AFTER multiple phone calls from my insurance company, State Farm, not because I was bugging them, but because SF kept bugging me, "is your service complete?" No! They get one star for being super polite while screwing mine and my husband's entire day over, missing work, etc, and for the driver being a nice guy, although we did feel he expected a tip after all this. Not his personal fault, I suppose, but I'm not tipping you or your company for a service that took five plus hours in non-inclement weather to complete simply because your company chooses to treat insurance customers as second class citizens. It is more than obvious from these reviews this company screws ppl who have no choice to use them because their insurance Co or Tripple A chooses them. You're clearly taking advantage of customers in bad situations and shame on you for it! Thankfully, we were in a safe place. I feel horrible for those stranded on a road somewhere that you do this to. Next time (if needed), I'll happily pay for a tow and it won't be from Stan's!

I had flat tire on a brand new tire before 7 AM on Jan 9th. My vehicle needed to towed to the nearest Chevrolet dealership. I went through State Farm and State Farm assigned Stan's Pro Tows to pick up my car at about 6:48 AM. My car was not picked up and delivered to the dealership until after 12:30 PM. A five (5) hour wait for a tow truck is unacceptable. Because of the excessive wait time, I had to take the day off. I also lost a day in getting a replacement tire, because the car was delivered to the dealer in the afternoon.
