PLEASE READ BEFORE TAKING YOUR CAR HERE! I brought my car to Crown Collision Center over a month ago after being rear-ended, and this has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had with ANY place of business. When I first dropped off my car, Jenn assured me word for word that she “would not leave me high and dry” and that she would provide updates on my vehicle. That has not been the case at all. I’ve called and emailed several times with no response. The only communication I finally received — TWO DAYS AGO, via email, not even a call (after I called and the front lady said she would leave a hand written note in her desk to call me back) — was that my car has not been touched in over a month because the part is on backorder. I immediately called after receiving that email and was told by Jenn that the part was unavailable anywhere in the United States, with no timeline on when it would be resolved. I asked to pick up my vehicle since it could be an indefinite wait, and she said she would speak with her manager and call me back because my car has “no bumper on it at the moment”. That was two days ago. Since then, I’ve called and emailed both Jenn and the manager Tony multiple times — still nothing. Completely ignored. I am now left with no rental car, no personal car, and no communication. This is not just inconvenient — it’s unacceptable and frustrating. What makes matters worse is that I’ve since read dozens of other reviews describing the exact same issue: cars sitting for months with no updates, no returned calls, and no progress. This is clearly not a one-time problem, but a pattern of terrible customer service and disregard for people’s time and money. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Do yourself a favor and read the reviews before trusting them with your vehicle. I wish I had.

Brought my 2025 Acura in to have some minor body repairs done. Crown Collision did a great job. When I picked it up, my car was washed and detailed inside. Really looked brand new. Big thanks to David and Penny!

Run don't walk away from this auto body shop. If i could have given it a zero star I would have. Shame on greedy Kevin Hawkins the owner for the bait and switch. I was quoted $1500.00 for two dents I had in my car by my door. I dropped it off on Monday and was told it would be ready on Friday. They called me on Thursday to tell me that they estimated the cost wrong and that now it would cost almost eight thousand dollar FOR TWO DENTS. They advised that now I would need a two new doors, a bumper, a fender etc.... WHAT!!! I told them that I wanted my car back and had to wait until the end of the day to get it. To say I was upset would be an understatement. By the way while i was there an older woman around 80 came in to get her car and stated that she had been waiting 2 months to get it back and they informed her that she needed more work then they originally estimated. Oh and by the way they charge you $90.00 dollars a day for storage. Ridiculous. I went to another body shop and got my car repaired for $1500.00. I want to protect future clients from going thru the experience I had. If you need your car fixed please go anywhere but here.

We were in a bind needing a small repair to our son's car right before he was shipping out for the Army which coincided with our move to TN. We had the pleasure of working with Jenn Smith and explained our predicament. She ordered the parts immediately and let us know she would come in early to meet us and get the car fixed. She did as promised and we picked up the car that same afternoon resolving our issue. Now that is customer service in my book. Jenn went out of her way to assist us in a time of need. Thank you

I literally got there as they were closing. I explained to them about a critical issue with my car and that I needed an immediate quote for a shippers insurance. Steve and Marissa were just phenomenal with their stellar service. They so patiently and kindly heard me out and stayed late after their business hours to help me out! They earned my business! Thanks so much!

Very dissatisfied had my car for three months went in was told parts were not in. Called Merecedes customer service they said the part had been sent for a week went to collision told them the part had been in for a week said they would have to find this was 3 weeks into it told me the car would be ready in a week no response called said they had missed a part and they would need to order went in to see if the part had come in was told that Mercedes did not have the part and did not know when they would get it called Meredes customer service to see why they would sale a car without having a part my rental was up and wanted to see if they could help with a rental if they did not have the part no help filed a complaint and finally got 1000 but I had to rent a car for two months costing 1200 a month. Went in and called collision got no information left messages did not return calls went to the dealer to get information. Dealer told me part had come in had to call to inform collision the part was in they text me and said it would be ready in a week not ready no response from collision called no response 10 days later called and stated did not want a call back that I would remain on the phone until someone told Me what was happening with my car came on phone and told me I could pick up this was 10 days later why did they not call me The insurance company reacted within days why did it take 3 months to get a car repair with no communication this is unacceptable. The information and help was through me calling Merecedes customer service calling the dealer. It should never take 3 months to get a new car repaired

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. My car has been at this shop for over two months, and communication has been nearly non-existent. They consistently fail to return phone calls, and no one besides the receptionist is ever available to speak with. The updates I’ve received have been vague, repetitive, and often misleading, promising completion dates that come and go with no progress or explanation. I’ve had to pay out of pocket for a rental car and have even missed work due to the constant delays and false promises. Even with an insurance adjuster involved, the process has been frustrating and poorly managed. I can only imagine how much worse it would have been without insurance. Based on my experience and similar ones shared by others. I strongly do not recommend this shop.

My vehicle has been at Crown Collision since early March. I was told on March 18 that the vehicle would be ready for pick up in two or three weeks. The estimate to repair the vehicle was approximately $9,000, and is being paid by the insurance company. I have reached out to Crown Colission numerous times, with no response. Occasionally, I would receive an email apologizing for the delay with explanation blaming parts availability or some other minimal issue. The vehicle is a Jaguar FPace that is two years old with 11,000 miles on it. The inconvenience caused by this situation has become overwhelming. I suspect that I am not the only customer that has experienced poor customer service and broken promises from Crown Collision. This has been a painful and unfortunate experience. Obviously, I wholeheartedly cannot recommend Crown Collision for services of any kind.

This was a very bad experience. The communication from the representative (David Thach) assigned to us was horrible. He often would not return phone calls which necessitated us driving to the shop to get updates. My insurance company experienced the same issues with David which slowed the entire process. When I was told the car was ready, I found the door gaps from the repair to be excessively out of spec. They agreed and did eventually correct the repair but it calls into question the quality control system they claim to have in place. My guess is that most customers don't notice such things so they don't bother to check. After David continued to refuse to answer or return my phone calls about when the vehicle would be ready, I showed up at the shop asking to take possession of my vehicle. The receptionist said she needed to check with David. When she returned she asked me if I could wait 10 minutes or so because David was finishing his lunch. I almost could not believe my ears. I demanded to speak to a manager to promptly helped me, pulled David away from his lunch and then after a few minutes returned my car. I will say the final quality of the work appears to be very good. The customer service experience was legendarily bad.

Wayne Calderwood did a fantastic job, and I truly appreciate the team that repaired and painted my 2021 Acura TLX—they did excellent work. I wouldn’t take my Acura anywhere else. I bought the car from Crown Acura in Clearwater and even though I live in Tampa, I gladly cross the bridge because of their outstanding service and attention to detail. I’m admittedly a bit picky about who I do business with, but Crown consistently hits the mark.

I would like to send a huge thank you to Wayne Calderwood in crown collision . He went above and beyond for me. The experience I went threw with the other person's insurance company was so unbelievable and devastating. Wayne stood by me never gave up on me and repaired my car with perfection thank you for being you and what you do. I will always remember and never forget what crown did for me. Had my Honda roof painted under warranty. Paint job was great but they took off roof moldings and when I picked up car the ends were flared up a welittle but I figured I had a warranty with them. I went back after 11months to fix moldings and was told warranty was for paint not the moldings that they damaged.i have bought 4 cars from crown over the years and you can bet I will never buy another or use the collision center.

Paul Barlow was my Crown Collision Center Estimator for my 2021 Nissan Maxima to fix the roof of my car which had damage from going to the car wash to much and being in the sun to much too. The top and side panels had to be replaced. Paul was very professional and really had great ideas on helping fix the problem on making it look new again. He always answered his phone when I called and I never got an answer machine. Very polite when talking with him whether on the phone or in person. Crown Collision Center at 5237 34th St. No. St. Petersburg did an amazing job on the roof of my car with replacing all of the damage panels with new ones and the prices were reasonable with parts and labor. They even washed my car before I picked it up. They were quick at getting g the parts and fixing g it that I got my car back the next day. Wayne Calderwood jr took very good care of me and front end repair of my 2025 Elantra N and my car looks like it did in the showroom. Wow. I would recommend him and the Crown Collision Center for all your body needs and repairs. Prices was fair. I plan on using them again for any future needs.

Sean Clumfoot was a great estimater/repair coordinator for my recent fender bender. He kept everyone informed about progress. Trouble getting parts is a universal problem. He kept all parties calm. He worked well with the Crown Team. Repeating this isn’t my plan, but if I ever needed to, I would use Sean & the Crown Repair Team. Sherrill Mc.

My Nissan Rogue was hit from behind. I took it to Crown Collision for the repair. Sean Clumfoot met me at my appointment time and was very thorough reviewing the car and the repairs needed. He was very friendly and professional. When my car was done, he called me and when I went to pickup he made the process very smooth. They do great work there!

Had a great experience with Crown Collision! Christina Perez kept me informed of what was going on with my vehicle and took care of every detail possible when it came to working with my insurance company and the rental car company. Hopefully I won't need their services again anytime soon, but if I do I will definitely return and I will ask for Christina!

I brought my Murano into Crown Collision after a fender bender. Christina Perez was assigned to work with me and I could not have had a better experience!! Christina handled every detail with the insurance company and rental car. She kept me up to date and well informed of all the steps along the way and delivered my car back to me in excellent condition! She even helped remove some very stuck on sludge that had splashed on my car after the hurricanes. Highly recommend Christina Perez!!

Scam Artists – Avoid This Shop Like the Plague! This body shop is an absolute disgrace. They had my car for 10 days, with zero repairs done to it - major concerns with their customer service, attitude and lack of communication. Upon picking the vehicle up to send to another shop (that wasn’t rude and actually explained the process & fees in detail), they had the audacity to charge me $1,770.85 in bogus "admin" and "storage fees." Let me repeat that: nearly $1,800 for nothing. This place is nothing short of a scam. They clearly have no intention of providing real service—just ripping off unsuspecting customers. My car sat there for 11 days, untouched, while they racked up these outrageous fees. When I questioned the charges, all I got were pathetic excuses and zero accountability. If you value your money, time, and sanity, do not set foot in this shop. They’re nothing but greedy, dishonest crooks who will bleed you dry without lifting a finger to help.

I have to say the entire staff was amazing here! My 2024 Hyundai was hit while parked, I went to them asking for the "worst case scenario" estimate (because you know... In life nothing is ever cheap or easy). Sean C. was the team member who assisted me with obtaining the estimate. Once I received my payout from the driver, the team here was great giving me an accurate timeline, keeping me up to date on the status repairs, and even taking the car back when I noticed a small bubble of clear coating and fixing it immediately. Were they cheap? Who knows, this was my first time at a collision shop. All I know is that they did a fantastic job and my car looks like the day I bought it back in June. Highly recommend this company!

I had great experience with David Thach. My ioniq 5 was rear ended , the process took around 45 days, which is longer than I expected but David kept me informed during the whole process and he did everything he can do to finish it as fast as possible. The car looks and feels like brand new, I am happy with the end result and I would definitely go to David again if I need them (hopefully not :) ) . One thing worth to mention, I was support to get my car before hurricane Milton, I asked david to keep the car since my house was flooded during hurricane Helene, without hesitation, he kept it stored indoor for me during the hurricane and he did everything he can do to find a charger to charge it for me so I can get it fully charged. I really appreciate everything David did for me. Thank you!

Crown Collision Center was professional, courteous, and empathetic from the moment I called until the end of our transaction. They kept me in the loop of the process better than my own insurance company did. The front desk was very confident and answered my questions with no hesitation and accommodated me until we knew the way forward. Sean C. was especially helpful. I was almost sad to not be able to work with this group for my repairs after my car was declared a total loss. If I ever need work in the future, I am definitely stopping by here. I had a great experience with staff here, especially Chris P. She kept me up to date nearly everyday on the status of my vehicle. She made everything easy and stress free for me. She was kind and informative (even told me to keep my paint shiny to have it waxed every 90 days) They were very flexible with my work schedule and did an amazing job on fixing my car. Kinds wish they didn't do just car accident repairs because I would go to them for all my car needs. Chris even made sure that all my car replacements were factory and not after market. Crown give Chris a raise! That woman knows her job! Also kudos to all the other staff, every person I saw had a smile and greeted me.

Sean Clumfoot was extremely helpful!! We have recently purchased a 2024 Kia with Shadow Matte gray paint. He removed the badges off my car. Super kind, knowledgeable and professional. This is the worst car repair shop you want to take your car to, they hold my car for 3 months. It took them a month just to look at my car they NEVER called me to tell me your car is Here or what's wrong with it I had to Chase chase chase. And when they finally told me my car was done and went there to pick it up they gave it to me half done, so dangerous to drive. That was a liability it could have cost us our life's, How dare you? So basically because they thought it was insurance money they can do whatever they want. they thought they were above the law and they broke the law and their policy. This place lied and neglected me and gave me a car that's so dangerous to drive. Just to get to show you what kind of business is this they offered me $200 off my deductible for me to take down the reviews. I wonder how many people they do this with. so technically all their reviews are fake or bought out.
