I had Gone in for a pre-purchase inspection on the fly and they were able to keep a lift open for me even with just a couple hours notice. They were honest and thorough in their inspection. Would recommend if you are in need of mechanical inspections!

Let me start off with this is one of the earliest opening shops I've found and they do good fast work for the parts they put in i plan on going back for all my car issues.

Mike's is the place. took real good care of us the price was great and affordable . Great service got us up and running.Awesome

Got my truck back still running just as bad after spending almost 3,000 dollars, they seem to find something different every time , no more with, they wanted to charge me over 700 dollars and it was only like 200 dollars in parts and that was after all the other money, today I had to pay once again 75 dollars just for them to look at it less then 30 minutes or they refused to give me my truck, my truck is no better after all this and I am very upset, I live on a budget. Please do not go to them, now I am going somewhere else and starting over. This has been a nightmare!!!! Thanks for nothing, !!

Mike's Affordable Auto Repair was a big help with diagnosing my car’s AC issue. They were very kind, flexible with scheduling, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Great service and a friendly experience overall.

These guys are great! I accidentally ran something over and knocked a few screws out of the plate underneath my car at like 9 pm. We called Mike's that next morning and they were able to take it in and fix the problem in about 15 minutes. They explained what was wrong and I was able to head back home in time for my meeting. Thank you Mike's!

Took my car in because of a check engine light with a code of a bad sensor. A few hours later they called and said it was probably an oil issue. Fixed it and when I went to pick it up it was cheaper than they had expected. Friendly, fast and affordable! Thanks guys!

He's Honest. Today was my first visit and it won't be my last. He said the work on my 2019 Dodge Caravan would be done by 3 PM and it was. I told him I thought I also needed front brake pads in addition to some other work. He said the pads were in good shape, so he didn't replace them. Great job on the other work and at a fair price. The main thing I liked was I didn't have to deal with a salesman with an ego.

After going to Firestone and the Chevrolet dealership and almost getting scammed out of a lot money, I thankfully found Mikes Affordable Auto Repair. They helped me figure out what was really going on with my car and then fixed it all within a couple hours. Granted every car is different and hours can vary depending on the work being done, my job was relatively easy. They didn’t try to rip me off and were honest and up front with what my car needed. I will never take my car anywhere else. If you have a problem with your car, definitely give them a shot and find out for yourself.

I found Mike's Affordable Auto about 8 years ago when I needed a window motor replaced. They were very fair with their pricing. I have taken my car to them multiple times for repairs and have always found them to be honest and caring. They really care about their customers and even though I have moved an hour north I will not go to any other mechanic! They answer all my questions and are always willing to show me or explain what needs to be repaired. Unlike other shops that take one look at me and try to charge for things I don't need, they give me a heads up on things they notice that will need to be replaced in the future. Hands down the best mechanic shop around!!

This is one of the few repair shops that will look out for your wallet by recommending the most cost effective repairs (which might be no repair at all). My go to every time my old jeep needs repair or parts! I’ve always been serviced fairly quick regardless of the issue my 2009 jeep is having. Mike and his mechanics have always been honest and knowledgeable when it comes to my cars issues and the price is always fair. I wouldnt ever trust to take my car to anyone else. It's so hard finding a trustworthy mechanic especially as a female and I honestly feel so lucky to have found this place when moving to St Pete recently. Specifically Ryan has been phenomenal! We had an emergency with our headlights before an interstate move. The staff here were friendly, efficient, knowledgable, and got us back on the road within a couple hours at a fraction of what a dealer would charge. Amazing service! Highly recommend.

Mike's Affordable Auto Repair caused $6k in cosmetic damages to my passenger side and back of car. Luckily, my auto insurance company approved my claim and not only covered the damages but is pursuing Mike's Affordable Auto through their subrogation department to recoup the costs. Mike had my car from 5/5 to 6/22. I originally took my car in for a new headlight since my dealership was backed up. They discovered I had a warranty and also needed a new engine due to blown head gaskets. When I picked up my car 7 weeks later I saw what looked like dirt streaks on the back of my car but it wasn't until after work, I started to wash my car and realized a corrosive chemical rusted my chrome and caused rust streaks on side, back and front of car. I immediately texted the photos and left a voice mail assuming that my car was vandalized while at the shop and not with their intent or knowledge. But when I spoke to both Ryan & Mike - their first words were - you brought your car into the shop this way. If you try to sue -you won't win, you don't have proof. T Basically, they intimidated me and yelled & hung up on me. I'm not sure if they even have business insurance because a reputable company would've been more cooperative. Also, my neighbors and postman who see my car daily as I work from home can attest that my car was not damaged prior to taking my car to Mike's Affordable Auto. I've filed complaints with BBB, DOA, DA & hope that no one has to deal with this headache. I'm glad it is now in my rearview mirror and I hope to warn others.

Reasonably priced and Ryan was fantastic. My former mechanic wanted over one thousand dollars to replace three censors in the engine of our 2003 G-35. Mike’s charged $540 and got it done earlier than expected! They are my new shop from here on out. FYI, the shop is not much to look at but who cares since they seem to be really honest guys!! The five star Google reviews are spot on! I will take my cars to Mike’s from now on!👍👍

First time taking my car to Mike's affordable. I initially had a crazy quote on my Honda at the dealer in town. This shop was able to take my accord the same day. After the repair it seemed the brakes needed a little more refining and they gladly checked it out for me and made an adjustment. Thank you again! Found my shop in town!
