The store wasn't that clean, it was pretty sketchy, and the guys working there were friendly, but extremely creepy, not to mention there were nails all over the floor and the smell of cigars in the store.
Absolutely love Tampa Bay Salvage! They have such an incredible variety of unique items, and there is always something new and fun to see every time I visit. They shop from all over the world. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get, and the owners are super nice and friendly. Highly recommend stopping by!
Tampa Bay salvage has been an excellent company to deal with. They have been always honest with their product and in the dealings wi the them. They said they would do. I’ve only had good experiences there and I got some really nice merchandise.
I came to Tampa Bay Salvage looking for a unique piece for my home office, and they exceeded my expectations. The quality of their reclaimed wood and custom furniture is outstanding. I also picked up an original sailboat painting that has become the centerpiece of my room.
The owners are very knowledgeable and helped me figure out exactly what I needed. If you are tired of generic furniture and want something with real character and history, this is the place!
Update: Unfortunately after 2+ years it came down to small claims court. Received a favorable judgment.
Buyer Beware. Having spent tens of thousands of dollars at this establishment it appears that things are going downhill. Items that were sold and promised are being claimed to have been lost/damaged with an inability to refund the money. Other items paid for over a year and a half ago and not delivered are now being blamed on the recent tariffs. The owner will instantly play victim to any negative feedback. I recently showed up after seeing “busy season” hours posted on Facebook as well as on their front door to only find the shop closed. I received a text message at 1:30 AM from the owner going off on a rant, apparently alcohol induced.Beware!!!!!
Jess is a very knowledgeable and important part of decision making when it comes to picking out treasures. I welcomed her advise on things I wanted to purchase. She took the time with my to search for the beautiful items we choose. I would highly recommend this awesome wearhouse for all your particular findings. Just to know that they travel over seas to discover these treasures almost makes it feel like you went there yourself. I'll definitely go back over over again. . Bravo to Jess and Josh!.. oh yeah... I have a wonderful custome made desk that josh and his crew built for me. Only a couple of critiques (little communication gap and a bit longer to build that i thought), but after making my feelings known he was great and I'm happy with the output. I would certainly recommend if you are looking for something individual with craftsmanship
We have found some true treasures in this unique store. The owner Josh and his wife Jess are very pleasant to work with. My daughter has purchased some great pieces for her yoga studio.
My husband and I have been here many times - as another reviewer noted, it is always a fun adventure perusing the ever changing inventory. We purchased several items from the friendly and passionate owners. My favorite piece is an antique stained glass panel that they were even kind enough to deliver to us--personally! Highly recommend for quality antique and architectural pieces as well as fair prices. Love!

Broken promises were the only thing we walked away with. There was a time that a man’s word had value. Not the case here! Avoid. And if you want to see someone step up ready to fight… call out the owner! Watch how quickly she does a 180.

It's not what I used to remember back when this place opened. I liked it for how much it used to have. Maybe I walked in at a time when they didn't have much to show; maybe it's just the economy.... hard to know with these types of stores. There's definitely better places that I've been too. Personally out of the top ten salvage stores I visit across Florida this would be 11th place of those 10 that I already know. Not to mention I also didn't receive any greeting... customer service last place too

Consigner beware! Don't expect to get paid for your goods that you consign with them. At first the owner Josh, seemed like a really nice, stand up guy. He promised to pay me $1500 for the consigned item that he sold and got paid for 6 months ago. After months of repeated unanswered emails and phone calls from me literally begging him to settle up with me he's completely ghosted me. Times are tough for everyone. Just be kind, truthful and honorable to your customers!
Seemed nice and clean. Employee was friendly. Based on photos online, inventory moves quick, so if you see something you like, you should probably not wait.

In early September, we were curious as to what Tampa Bay Salvage is all about, and decided to check it out. We fell in love with what we saw, and chose the wood and design for a console table on that very first visit. They promised it would be completed before Christmas, and it was delivered ahead of schedule. Their craftsmanship is amazing. Each piece is custom made and gorgeous. If you are looking for high quality, unique, and truly 100% SOLID WOOD furniture, you need to pay them a visit. Bonus - you will be supporting a small business with caring and dedicated owners.

This place is brilliant! They travel all over the world to bring one of a kind, unique pieces back to our little slice of paradise in Palm Harbor. I'd say for where they get the pieces, everything is very reasonably priced. The owners Josh and Jess are always very friendly and knowledgeable when we come in. And their wood selection is top notch. Always a fun day picking here.
