Took 5 minutes to be helped, the guys were standing around talking. When I made eye contact to get help from one of the guys he quickly looked away and moved out of my sight. Made eye contact with another dude who just stared at me until I said something. Also, brought in two large car batteries and got $7 for them both. Doesnt advanced auto give you $10 a piece in store credit? Maybe I’m in the wrong and every scrapyard is as standoffish and weird as this one, I havent been to alot to be honest.
Great people to work with friendly and professional. This was my first time dealing with this company and I definitely will be doing more business with them in the near future.
I take all my appliances from AAA appliances of Zephyrhills too Ramm Recycling two or three times a week. The staff is great and the yard is always clean.
Was following behind a Ramms Recycling truck . The dumpster was filled 3 feet over the top with metal. The dumpster was not strapped down or covered. Extremely dangerous! A piece of metal flew out from the top of the truck damaged my car and mechanical parts underneath. I called pasco police and the fhp filed a report. I called the Zephyrhills location and the nice receptionist told me the truck is pulling in now. Then i got transferred to a male manager and he took down my information and told me the owner will call me back. Days went by not a single phone call. Then i spoke to a female manager. Who was not helpful and worthless to say the least. So after trying to nice and just get their insurance information Ramms decided not to be professional and responsible for their actions. I understand they may have independent drivers but florida law requires a load of metal and etc stacked that high to be strapped or covered. They need to follow the law. Independent drivers or not. So i guess they thought i would just forget about my car damage. But i didnt and wont. I took the next steps necessary.
Very helpful staff I asked a yard attendant where to take my stuff, and he actually grabbed a front loader to my car and hauled all my heavy stuff. Great yard
I work where I find a lot of wire discarded from new building construction and solar installations so I collect it, take it home strip it for bare copper. Been to a few places but this is my favorite. No hustle, the staff is friendly, and competitive price. Some people get upset about the price just understand that there are different prices Educate yourself and you won't have any issues. Keep up the good work and thank you.
First time here, they had no problems walking me through what their procedures were and were very knowledgeable about copper prices! Will definitely come back!
I called beforehand to get their rates, I was asked specifics of what I had. When we got there they tried paying us significantly less per lb. The other recycling center actually pays the correct amount without you having to question it.
* Follow up to the response - The person that answered your phone I asked specifically "how much do you pay for power cords cut from vacuums". She said as long as the ends are cut off .70 per lb. You tried paying us .15 per lb when we have been getting paid .55 per lb from your neighbors. Not new to it, just hadn't been to your facility so trying to see how you operate. That was the second time I'd called and asked specifically about vacuum power cords that had been cut from the machines and the previous time we were told .65 per lb. So it wasn't a random open call it was a specific question for specific cords. We literally took minimal to you to "test" if it was worth switching over. We have been getting .55-60 lb from the other place... then we bought them to you, and you tried paying us .15 lb, which is what we get from the other place if the ends aren't cut off...
"Our nice convo about the ins and outs" was you questioning us on your competitions rates. The only discussions we had were you trying to convince us we were wrong despite 2 specific calls, then you agreeing to match their price next door, then you asking us about their rates. Soon as we got in truck he said from now on we are going to the other place, they're nicer and we don't have to worry about price matching. I 100% agree with him.
We love Ramm recycling. Employee's are friendly and helpful. Big Blue is fantastic, so we don't have to unload everything ourselves like at some other scrap yards. The pricing is usually m ore than some other yards.
I have been going to Ramm in Zephyrhills for about 5 years now and they are the best around. Very knowledgeable about the metals and very professional and easy to get along with. Thier prices are very competitive, the best around. I would rather go here than anywhere else. They are very patient when explaining things and just helpful all the way around. They are quick to help unload and just a very pleasant business. I'm glad they're here close to my town

I have been there several times now. They are always helpful and always friendly. Even though I have a small amount of metal that fits in my car, they always take it. I would definitely recommend them.
Top prices paid, friendly helpful service. Been going there ever since they opened. Never had to wait for more than 10 minutes, usually get unloaded right away.
The people that work there are great, there very helpful , they help me unload my scrap soon as I get there . I'm in and out in no time. It's close and convenient. The lady's that work up front are also great. Ramm is the best around. Thank you guys so much.
I have lived in Zephyrhills 27 years and this is the only place I choose to bring my rubbish out of the yard such as grills propane tanks with valve out lawn chairs that are metal or aluminum old stoves refrigerators microwaves old lawn mowers copper aluminum stainless brass weed eaters used and new lead sinkers spent bullet casings and my number one favorite cans the employees are very good at being informational about what to and what not to do with these materials and the pretty lady with the blonde hair at the desk is is the brightest star of the bunch I believe her name was Megan

I get there we get it all weighed and they instantly grabbed car and smashed it.
I got 189 dollars.
My car weighed 3618.
Never again will they get any business from me or my own

Guys are nice and helpful. Pretty clean and efficient operation especially compared to the competition. It would be nice to know prices before preparing my trip but overall they are doing a great service!
I have gone with my husband a few times to turn in scrap metal and everytime its always a great experience..In and out quickly and very friendly staff. The prices are better than most..which is great for us..we have never had a bad experience..thank you for doing a great job
The girl at the desk wouldn't stop talking to her friend on the phone. Didn't say two words to me. She seemed annoyed that I interrupted her conversation when I said have a good day. Plus she paid me less than I was quoted per pound. Will not be returning with 500+ pounds of copper and another 700+ of cac
They were hands down the best scrap yard I've ever been to. 4 guys came to help unload, then she gave me enough to cover the cost of cashing the check and if that wasn't enough. I GOT A SHIRT TOO. Would go there everytime if I lived out here.
Being a small girly girl, Im always prepared to be treated unfairly going to places like this. However having said that, I have to say, I have done business with Ramm in Zhills several times. The people are great. Their prices are fair, if not better than other places. This is 1 place I dont worry about going to alone. The guys help me unload (and by help, I mean I stand there and watch). I cant say or stress enough how great the people are, or how fairly they pay. I will pass other recycle yards on my way to Ramm. A great place to do business with!
