The driving conduct exhibited was highly unprofessional. The truck abruptly cut in front of my vehicle, with the truck bed coming within inches of my front bumper while crossing US-192 at the Turnpike entrance.

Whoever owns this company seriously needs to reconsider how it's being run. I requested this service voluntarily, explained my situation clearly, and was met with a rude and dismissive attitude. Customer service should be a priority when you're offering a paid service—but that clearly wasn’t the case here.
I waited the full 108 minutes (which is supposedly the maximum wait time), and no one ever showed up. When I called to get an ETA, the person on the phone told me, “If you don’t like it, cancel,”—despite me speaking respectfully the entire time.
If you're not in the right mindset to run a business or treat customers with basic decency, then maybe don’t offer your services at all. We all have bad days, but that’s no excuse for unprofessionalism. Do better. Stay blessed

They are in the business of ruining family vacations together with the HOA at Veranda Palms in Kissimmee. They have open access to the rental community and basically stalk the renters at all times of the day. They will tow your vehicle from the driveway if a small part of the tire is even barely touching the grass next to the driveway. They will charge you whatever they feel like charging to recover your vehicle knowing quite well that the majority of the vehicles being towed belong to tourists on vacation which are desperate to get their vehicle back in order to continue their vacation plans. They will be especially rude and intimidating if you are a woman. Make sure you go pick up your vehicle with a male friend or relative. The City of Orlando should know that businesses such as this one harm the city and its reputation of being a welcoming tourist destination.
My car was illegally towed from the side of my own home more than 50 feet away from the nearest “No Parking” zone. It wasn’t blocking traffic, a sidewalk, or a driveway. That sign clearly applies only to the small cul-de-sac area where it’s posted, not where my car was parked. If it applied to our side, there would need to be another sign posted there.This tow was completely unjustified and shows how unprofessional and predatory this company is.
HOA rules (Sec. 3.55) require a 24-hour notice before towing. I got none.
Florida law (§715.07) requires proper signage — the sign here is vague and not compliant.
We confirmed in the HOA standards that residents ARE allowed to park personal daily-use vehicles where mine was.
Instead, I had to post a bond with the Clerk of Court just to get my car back — a total waste of time, money, and stress.

AVOID!!! IF I COULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS I WOULD!!! Towlando Towing & Recovery acted outside the authority provided in my community’s governing documents. According to the Silver Springs Community Standards (the HOA handbook), towing may only occur if a vehicle has been in violation for 24 hours after notice is posted. My car was not given any notice, was parked legally more than 50 feet from the posted sign, and this was the very first time I had ever parked in that spot.
Despite this, Towlando towed my car without warning, without authorization paperwork provided, and in direct contradiction to the HOA’s own rules. When questioned, the HOA confirmed that I was parked correctly, that they did not put up the signs in question, and that my vehicle was not improperly parked. This means Towlando acted above and beyond the HOA’s rules and outside proper procedure.
Furthermore, Florida law (F.S. 715.07) requires clearly visible towing signs with arrows indicating enforcement zones. At this location, there are no towing signs, no arrows, and no state-required signage, meaning the tow itself was unlawful. Either way, I was parked legally in front of my own home.
Because of their actions, I lost valuable work hours, experienced significant stress, and had to post a bond at the courthouse just to get my car back. I have photo and video evidence, as well as a recorded statement from the HOA confirming I was parked correctly, and I am 100% prepared to take this to court.
Towlando failed to follow both the HOA’s own contracted rules and Florida state requirements. Their conduct was predatory, unprofessional, and not in line with the law. This company needs to be properly educated and held accountable for exploiting residents rather than enforcing rules fairly.
This team was so on point. As soon as it was set, I began receiving text and calls that my driver was in route! I requested a flatbed truck, they made it happen!

We were staying at a resort. My car was on the sidewalk, near the curb. He destroyed the lawn of the rental property when he took my car. This further proves we weren't on the lawn. This is an abusive business practice! The resort security at night said our cars were fine even though they took mine causing damage to the grass, they are scammers, they treat you rudely, they don't answer the phone, they charge you the rate they want without giving you an explanation, they don't give you the photos of your supposed violation, they only ask for cash and threaten you that if they want they will leave the car there for another day because your vehicle is on their private property, they are a total abuse, the one who helped us was rude at all times the rate said $135 and they charged us $200 they don't give you the receipt and they laugh at your face I would give them zero they are a total fraud and the condominium undoubtedly allows these things to happen they are all corrupt, I don't understand how with so many bad reviews and complaints they continue to operate this way, they are a true disgusting company and their staff is even worse
Shady and Scummy Practice. My car was towed from my gated community, the car was parked on the road which is not allowed. I called and they told me it would be $200 to retrieve the car. I get there in person, and the doors are locked, and when I called no one picked up until the 3rd call. They said to meet them in the back near the gate entrance. They then opened the gate, but stayed in tow truck the whole time. I tell them I am picking up my car, and they said to retrieve the registration so they could match the name. We do that, but the registration in the car is expired, and the new one was at home. They said it would be another $75 to retrieve the car because of the old tag. There was no documentation, this was all done while talking to a tow truck driver in his car. Meanwhile, the tow truck driver and his little friend in the car, were very rude and passive aggressive. I ended up just paying the $275, but of course they don't carry change either. There was no paper / documents / receipt signed. Seems shady/ illegal. I would watch out for Towlando and their shady practices.

Just had the best tow experience from Christian M. He was courteous professional and went out of his way to drop the car off exactly where I needed it to go in front of the house. He took extra time to make sure it was straight and out of the way of neighbors driveway. Big shout out to quality customer service you don’t get too much of nowadays. Thank you!
I needed a tow today due to my car not starting, and the service was fantastic from start to finish. Dispatch called right away to confirm my information and quickly assigned Christian to help. He arrived within the hour, kept me updated with calls along the way, and was incredibly professional and polite. He had my car loaded in no time and even handled everything at the dealership — filling out the after-hours envelope and sending me photo confirmations. Christian was great! Highly recommend his service.
BEWARE OF TOWLANDO TOWING COMPANY – Predatory and Aggressive Behavior
Our experience with Towlando Towing was absolutely appalling and deeply unsettling. If I could give 0 stars I would. From the moment we attempted to recover our towed vehicle, we were met with hostility, intimidation, and blatant disrespect.
We spoke with a man who identified himself as Elmo, and his behavior was unacceptable on every level. He repeatedly threatened my mother while we were simply trying to get information about our vehicle and understand the towing process. Instead of offering help or clarity, Elmo was rude, aggressive, and condescending. He raised his voice, made unnecessary threats, and treated us like criminals—for no reason other than asking questions.
It was clear that this company operates in a predatory manner, taking advantage of visitors unfamiliar with the strict and unclear parking rules at the vacation property we stayed at (Vernada Palms). The towing itself felt targeted and unfair, and the staff’s behavior only added insult to injury.
What should have been a routine process to retrieve our car turned into a traumatic and emotionally distressing experience. No family should have to endure threats and verbal abuse just to get their personal property back.
I strongly urge anyone visiting this area—especially if you're staying in a vacation rental—to be extremely cautious. Document everything, ask clear questions about parking, and be aware that Towlando Towing does not appear to act in good faith. This company needs to be held accountable for their unprofessional and aggressive conduct.

This is probably one of the worst companies I’ve ever seen. One of your drivers thought he was tough behind that truck, I don’t know weather he lives in the housing community we were in or was going for a tow. But he wanted to run his mouth as we pulled in then proceeded to follow us and when I got out at my location a home he backed in and lower his tow bar and acted like he was gonna pull my vehicle. Your drivers real tough behind that locked door. Luckily for me my husband has it all on video. Let me also add that when my husband called today to try to deal with it and notify them he was basically told it was his opinion and that they can see us in court. I’m not one of those people that threaten court I work in a legal field, but since you don’t want to handle your driver and since you think it’s OK to bully people behind a truck now I will pursue. NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE READ THE REVIEWS THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME. The fact that you would threaten to take a vehicle over nothing again you weren’t there to tow our vehicle, we were in the complex making a delivery, we weren’t parked illegally. I observed very unsafe driving on 192. The driver was frequently cutting off other cars and weaving through traffic while towing a vehicle. This type of behavior shows a lack of concern for basic road safety. After reading other reviews, it appears this is not an isolated incident. It is concerning to see a pattern of driving like this continue without accountability.
Alex was super kind and helpful. He got to us as fast as he could and got the vehicle home safely. Price was reasonable. Alex was very professional. We would definitely use Towlando again.
They don’t tell you it’s cash only over the phone, only when you get there. You leave to get cash and then the price has magically gone up an extra $50 due to going “over the time”. Not a BBB accredited or ethical business. Blew vape smoke in my face as well!
By default, I’m giving you one star. The owner should be thanking me right now. On April 10, 2025, around 9:30 am, one of their 53’ trucks was on I-4, heading towards the turnpike towards Orlando. I was cut so close that I almost got hit (I’m six months pregnant). I really wanted to sue you, but karma has a way of working things out. Not even half a mile into the Murgung traffic on the turnpike, he got into an accident. The owner will know better after reading this comment. He needs to either close his business or find a better, responsible, and liable driver for such a job. These drivers endanger people’s lives because some people just want to follow the rules, while drivers like you hire want to chat and talk on the phone while driving. You should appreciate me not suing you, but I bet you’re already dealing with the aftermath of today’s accident.
I wish I could give this company 0 stars they are rude, don't care and, take advantage of women and took money from someone who didn't owe the bill. The car was not in there name and he said he didn't care pay it or go. They have no idea what they are doing and don't care to know. I hope you never run into this company.
I had just gotten home from my daughters birthday weekend and had a bunch of stuff that needed to be taken out of my car. I backed in my car while we took everything out of the trunk and back seat because we had very heavy stuff. The last thing I took out was at 2:25:52 PM. At 2:26:46 PM my car was towed. In less than ONE FULL MINUTE my car was towed. I never back in when I park my car at home, but I really needed to unload. I went back downstairs at 2:27 PM to find my car gone. I ran upstairs, grabbed my phone and checked my camera, then ran to the front of the complex to find a phone and called them at 2:31 PM. My car was not even at the yard and she had no idea my car had even been towed yet, that's how fast it all happened. They refused to bring my car back, even though they were still driving literally right song the corner. They took my car all the way to the yard anyway and then refused to release it unless I paid $175. Both of them lied. He said he drove around more than once which was a lie because my camera would have shown that and he was never in my camera that day.
Update: Contacted them directly like they asked me to. Have not heard anything on 5 days.

While I did have to wait quite a long time to have my car towed (it was at my house, so I wasn't along side the road) when Hector arrived he had my car hooked up and was on his way in less than 5 minutes. My car wouldn't start nor go into gear and after having to have it scheduled to be towed and left at different "towing from" locations due to the fact it wouldn't start or go into gear, on 3 separate occasions by other tow companies I was very happy with how quickly he worked. Keep Hector, he's great.
They will charge you $250 for a Lien that they put on your car for less than a $300 total charge. If your car was removed after an accident on 09/03/2024 I swear to god the tow truck driver pulled off your bumper and then took photos after the fact. I recorded him in the act my grandmother watched it as well. Shady people, I’m calling the irs and immigration on them!
They quote you one price over the phone to pick up your car. Then you show up and the price is tripled. Then they say they only take cash at certain locations, after you show up. $666 for a tow, and the vehicle had only been there 3 days (still drivable small mid-sized sedan btw). Towed on a Friday to one of their lots which wasn't even open during the weekend, so I had to wait two days anyways. Careful using them, whole thing is a predatory scam.
Also in response to the reply from the business: My vehicle was brought to your lot in Haines city, which isnt open on weekends (so they could purposely hold the vehicle longer to charge more). The vehicle in question was in my name and I am the registered owner. Also if the prices are State regulated maybe have your employees be transparent or knowledgeable before giving incorrect quotes over the phone.
DO NOT USE this company is racist and will tow your car illegally , look into your county laws about towing more than 15 miles, they will also damage your vehicle. PLEASE BEWARE, i am not bitter or upset. This company legit damaged my car and i had to take it to the shop. They WILL illegally tow. I had to call the cops on them twice due to them threatening me. It was very chaotic. Just stay VERY far away from this company, also a guy on the phone was saying racist remarks when i called him... they also delete social media comments to try to hide the truth!
This company is extremely shady and disrespectful. Long story short they towed my car from my apt complex when they weren’t supposed to. I had permission from my apt complex to park my car there even though it was not operable. (See photo of printed email sent to towlando by apt complex) they then proceeded to still tow my vehicle and all they could do was tell me that I can come pick it up free of charge that they made a mistake. I told them the vehicle is not operable and they said I can pick it up by 5PM or everyday it’s there will be a charge. They refused to drop the car back off. The workers were extremely rude while I was upset because their only solution was to let me take my car free of charge and a verbal sorry we messed up. I was going to have to come out of pocket for the tow back home or they charged me everyday it’s there. The most shady towing company in Kissimmee/St. Cloud area. Steer clear of this place and do not do business with them.
