I was stuck on the side of the road and they showed up faster than I expected. The driver was friendly and made sure my car was handled with care. Really thankful for how easy they made the whole situation.
My car was illegally towed from the side of my own home — more than 50 feet away from the nearest “No Parking” zone. It was not blocking traffic, a driveway, or a sidewalk. That sign applies only to the cul-de-sac area where it is posted, not where I was parked.
HOA rules (Sec. 3.55) require a 24-hour notice before towing — I received none.
Florida Statute (§715.07) requires clear, compliant signage — this was not followed.
HOA standards confirm residents are allowed to park daily-use vehicles where mine was.
Instead, they towed my car without cause, forced me to post a bond with the Clerk of Court, and created unnecessary stress and expense. This company operates in a predatory and unprofessional manner, disregarding both HOA rules and Florida law.
Just got a car back from being towed by towlando in orlando on 08/23/25 . These people are EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! PLEASE BE CAREFUL! THEY ONLY WANT TO LET THE PERSON ON THE REGESTRATION ON THE CAR BEHIND THE GATE TO DO MONEY EXCHANGE AND THEY ONLY TAKE CASH! THEN THEY ASKED FOR HER PHONE NUMBER TO DROP THE PRICE BECAUSE THEY LIKE HER. These kind of people should not be in positions of power! The gentleman who spoke with my uncle was kind, but the company itself is a hustle of greed. 30 cars in one night were towed in the vacation community we stayed in. We were told one price $225 and my Uncle ended up paying $800 for having a tire on the grass. Not the whole car now, but literally the tires. We pulled together as a family; it did not ruin our vacation but it was unfortunate. I honesty pray Towlando considers its ways, because you reap what you sow, even in business.
One of the tow trucks ran a stop sign at 3 way stop and almost side swap me! Incredibly reckless and stupid on the road. There were also pedestrians and this guy did not stop once to look.
The employees are extremely nasty and unprofessional! My family was cursed out and kicked out when we began to ask questions about our car! This place needs to be shut down immediately!
Wrongful Towing + Illegal Business Practices.
Honestly this company does not even deserve the 1 star.
This was one of the most stressful and humiliating experiences I’ve ever had. My car was towed from my townhouse community for parking over 24 hours in the guest parking lot which was not true. They took a picture on Saturday night and Monday night then towed my car because I was at the same spot. I went to work on Sunday and have proof to show that my car was not in that parking lot on Sunday.
Anyhow, my car was towed on Monday at 11:57 PM. I called at 9 AM and went to pick up my car at 10 AM the next day. They quoted me $270 on the phone but once I got there it was $520. They said the additional $250 was to release a lien that they placed. They also demanded cash only — no card, no options, just cash. I was caught off guard, standing there feeling powerless, and honestly, it felt like a setup.
Later, I found out Florida law requires them to accept at least two forms of payment and to follow strict procedures before placing a lien. They didn’t follow any of that. It wasn’t just bad service — it was wrong, and illegal.
They gave me a paper which I thought was a receipt but it was actually just an invoice. I called them the next day after collecting enough evidence to show that my car indeed left the parking lot and wasn't there for 24 hours. The manager, Joe (?Joel) refused to refund my money and even refused to acknowledge that I paid the $520. I see why they only accept cash and did not provide bill of sale/payment receipt now. It was my mistake for not knowing my rights and to overlook the document provided. $520 isn't a small amount of money, but it's also not worth my time and effort to take them to court. I just considered as paying for an expensive life lesson. However, I'm writing this hoping others don’t have to go through what I did.
Please do not use this company and urge your association/apartment not to use them as well. Thank you for reading.

Please do not be fooled by their automated reply. I contacted them already. The manager dismissed my concern, tried to make me feel like I'm getting their money when I just want my money back, then hung up on me. This type of gaslighting behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable.
If I could give them a ZERO I would. They illegally towed my 17 year old daughter's car, would only take cash $150 to drop her car. Really from a child who was NOT illegal parked. She was literally in the driveway. They left scratch marks of her front bumper on the driveway of the home as they towed her Corolla from the back and they messed up her whole front bumper. They would not take responsibility for the damage.
***Update*** The company responded to my review and asked me to contact them. What's the point??? I reached out for two weeks with no response. Finally someone called me back, I told him what happened. He said he was going to do some research and call me back yet another week has passed with no call back.
This is one of the worst businesses in Kissimmee. They are extremely rude and do not provide correct information over the phone. I was NOT told that you have to give EXACT cash and that they would NOT provide a receipt or change. If you go to most banks especially at that late time of night, you can’t pull out any $5 bills out. Banks do not give less than a $10 bill and if they are requiring you to pay $175 the least they should be able to do is provide you with change. Another discrepancy is that we would not receive a receipt. These are details that should be provided in the preliminary phone call.
When I arrive to the tow yard, it’s quite literally a group of men sitting outside of a truck smoking and while you’re trying to talk to them they’re constantly blowing smoke in your face. As I am about to pay him I complained about the change because now I would rather have to go out of my way just because they refuse to give me change after towing so many cars and receiving cash OR overpay him. The man attending me proceeded to kick me out of the lot because I was complaining about these things and told me to come back later which would result in a higher fee to get my car. This was absolutely inappropriate. He was being extremely rude from the very beginning and now refusing to service me even though I had the money to pay him and all my correct documentation to retrieve my car. I was able to get my car after I was able to find a gas station open after midnight that would give me change.
I completely understand that I was responsible for the car being towed to begin with, but it was an honest mistake parking in a complex that requires a pass and not having it on the dash (I was dropping friends off and went to use the bathroom for a couple minutes) . Then to be met with such a lack of professionalism and empathy is extremely disappointing. They are NOT an accredited business and I recommend if anyone has ever had a similar experience to leave a review on the BBB site. See the attached to find their business. Please be careful if you ever have to deal with a situation like this they are not a professional business at all and they obviously thrive in inconveniencing people which is why they don’t provide normal things that any business provide (change, receipts, documentation/proof of service).
One of your drivers last night followed me as I went into a neighborhood being super disrespectful. Then proceeded to follow me to my drop off location and acted like he was going to tow my vehicle, dropped 5$3 tow bar and backed up to my vehicle. Thats what your drivers do is use their truck to threaten people. I was there to drop a delivery there was NO REASON for him to follow me or threaten to tow my vehicle. All on video so he can expected to hear from my wife’s lawyer. He needs to be fired. Added his pic from another post where he’s been complained about before.

I had the unfortunate opportunity to interact with your company on one occasion while staying at Veranda Palms. A neighbor of ours had her vehicle towed under questionable circumstances — allegedly for improper parking — though it appeared to be an illegal tow.
We accompanied her to the impound lot to assist in retrieving her vehicle. This occurred around 1:00 AM on Thursday night, July 3rd. Upon arriving and approaching the gate, we were confronted in an extremely aggressive and unprofessional manner by the individual working at the lot.
To our shock, he not only opened the gate and began yelling at us, but also stated that he was armed. He made it clear he had a gun on him, then demanded we come inside so he could "fight" us. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable and deeply concerning — especially from someone representing your company in a customer-facing role.
No employee should ever threaten or intimidate customers, let alone reference having a weapon and encourage violence. I sincerely hope this is not standard practice and urge your company to seriously review its hiring practices and employee conduct for the safety and well-being of all future customers.
He came in the driveway claiming the vehicle was on the road while there was other vehicles on the road that he let get the car out of the road he cussed at us asking us were we done with the bs while have a sercuity gaurd that sat across the street we gave him the money he waited 25 minutes to drop the car because we was talking he refused to give us a receipt and only said he took cash while messing up the painting on the truck he didn’t give us a warning and the only way we saw him is because someone looked out the window while charging 125 dollars and they change there prices daily and we are looking to sue
Lifted our car up to tow it within 5 minutes of arriving at our airbnb. By the time we went in to grab the parking pass off the counter and walk out to our vehicle, the man was in the process of attempting to tow it. He demanded i walk to the gas station down the road to an atm and pay him $125 cash to lower the vehicle. We did not receive a receipt or invoice, and he told me that he was not able to make change because i only had $20 bills. Absolute scam. The airbnb owner said that they are not supposed to be doing that and they absolutely are not supposed to be asking for cash.
Towlando is a nightmare of a company to work with. I have never seen such unprofessionalism in any tow company and have worked with in the past. They would be the LAST company to call if I need a tow.
Tht tow driver was Eliezer Garcia. He was very professional and loaded my car up promptly. He arrived at the repair shop the same time as me and I took the park way. I wouldn't mind have him as a driver again.

They don’t tell you it’s cash only over the phone, only when you get there. You leave to get cash and then the price has magically gone up an extra $50 due to going “over the time”. Not a BBB accredited or ethical business. Blew vape smoke in my face as well!
These clowns showed up to a rented house for a friendly gathering and tried to tow a car of ours for being in the street without any notification. He then proceeded to extort us for $125 and when we caught him before he took the car for no reason, and without any notification he proceeded to take multiple pictures of the car license plate and vin claiming it was for the receipt which we did not receive and when we asked for a name and info from the driver he loaded up and left. Absolute scam artists

Please find another company before towing with them. They are so unprofessional and disrespectful here. The manager speaks to you with so much attitude and hate. This place is a scam and liars. My vehicle was suppose to get towed to a mechanic that was 7 minutes from this location. They were going to charge me $184. But because he couldn’t wait 2 minutes for me to get cash he took it to this tow yard. My car was blocking the road so it was towed by the Kissimmee police and when I tried to come get it out they were charging me $464. They also charge me $75 to get it out the gate because I couldn’t drive my car out since both right side wheels were popped. They charged me a daily fee twice when the car was only there for a day. I ended up paying $629. They kept up charging me for everything and would tell me last minute things that they needed from me. The most unprofessional towing place I have ever experienced.
This company took a visitor's car that was parked correctly. When we called them they said they knew the rules and hung up, they were very rude and if you didn't understand the address they hung up. We had until 12am to park, at 11:30 we had to pay 175 cash and they refused to give us a receipt for the payment. The apartment complex had to call them to claim a refund, we are still waiting for the refund and it's been a week. They make dirty money and they don't want to answer for their responsibilities and mistakes. They also treat people without respect.
Terrible experience. They say they are 24/7 but they made me wait more than 2 hours to pick up my car. They only accept cash, they don't give a receipt. The person who gave me the car made me feel afraid to go in to get it at night. I had to call the police because after 3 calls telling them I was waiting outside, they never answered the phone. My worst experience on the first day of my vacation in Orlando. My car was parked in a permitted residential area, just because I didn't have a permit they took it and they didn't put a notice on it, they just took it.
I have never dealt with such a shady company! They towed my car OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY of an air bnb we were staying! Called the company to pick up my vehicle and set an appointment time, they told me it would be $175 cash to pick up the car.
We get to “Towlando” they have damaged my car from towing and tore up the air bnbs yard (pics below)!
I paid the man $175 and got into my car to drive off the lot and he closes the gate and locks us in! Saying we owe him $25 more for storage fee!
We had to call the cops to let us out and we only paid the $175.
This cash only scheme they are running is being reported to the IRS and BBB!!
My car was taken unauthorized along with .y house keys. When the police finally called to tell me it was towed that I can go retrieve it although the hours of operation on the website shows 24 hrs I was told I could not retrieve my car nor my house keys. I would have to wait until Monday mind you they charge a daily storage fee. The guy I spoke too was very vondensending. In the emotional state I am in he could have provided some empathy and provide the why I was unable to at least get my house keys to get into my home. I asked for an accommodation but to no avail. I am extremely upset and remember one day he will need accommodated. The owner of this business needs to think about how to serve paying patrons especially in certain circumstances. The love of money is evil
Trash service. This company decided they didn’t feel like completing the job for whatever reason (after I already paid). They proceeded to give me the run around and eventually they stopped answering my insurance calls. 4 hours ago they were on their way, 1 hour ago they were arriving soon. Now they’re not answering and my insurance is forced to find another provider for me. Thanks for wasting my time. All because the guy on the phone didn’t want to make a simple adjustment.
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the services provided by Towlando. On 4/6/2023 my vehicle was towed from my friend's property at approximately 1:00 AM. The vehicle was returned to me damaged and not drivable, indicating a lack of proper transport and storage procedures.
Furthermore, the vehicle did not arrive at the designated impound lot until 2:00 PM, raising serious concerns about its whereabouts and potential mishandling during those intervening hours.
Upon retrieval, I discovered significant damage to my vehicle. Towlando refused to acknowledge or accept responsibility for these damages despite the strong evidence.
Attempts to address these issues through customer service have been met with significant frustration. Phone calls are either not returned or abruptly terminated. The manager displayed a lack of professionalism and a disturbing level of anger during our interactions.
Public records indicate that Towlando has a history of traffic violations and has been subject to numerous lawsuits.
Given the company's demonstrated disregard for customer satisfaction, its inability to provide basic services, and its apparent history of negligence and misconduct, I strongly urge the relevant authorities to investigate Towlando's operations and consider shutting down its business permanently.

I was able to have my vehicle town home after 12 AM. I was informed of my drivers name and when to expect them to arrive. Robert was very courteous and was able to get my car and I home safely. I was happy with the flatbed truck. Thank you again. Highly recommend.
Car was towed against our will due to decal having been lost in mail after buying the car, so plate had old sticker, even though legally the car was up to date with registration on paper. They told me it cost 275 over the phone to get the car, which sounded insane since they had just towed this morning. Then when I got there, tow price was 245. Reading the listings people generally pay 175-180. I was picking up a regular sedan 3 miles from apartment complex. I believe they ripped me off due to what they thought they could get away with. I was emotionally drained by the time I got there, they couldn't give change for my cash. Gave them my 260 since I only had cash in 20s and went on my way because I was too exhausted at that point. They won this time with me. Easiest money they can ever make, sad and frustrating but I've been beat down enough today.
They just want to charge what they want to depending on who walks up. Please stick up for yourself if you think what you were charged was unfair. I wish I did.
