Shady as hell..gave me 2.75 for number 1 copper.everyone else was paying 3.40 to 3.69 a pound I found out later..Hell one guy said he would of gave me 3.00 and came and picked it up for no fee
I have never scrapped before, but if I ever do again I will never use Preston's. The signage is confusing and we followed the truck in front of us. We waited 15 minutes and the employee told us to go to the scale. We went back to the scale and we were met by another employee, I didn't catch his name, but he had long greasy hair and was in need of dental work. This employee yelled at us for skipping the line (we were the last car in line). He told us to leave, because they were closed. I tried to explain and he complained about how much he worked. I asked for a recommendation for a scrap yard open. He told me to go home and slamed the door.
The employee at the big scale disrespected me saying some false information about me and I didn’t even know him I never met him a day in my life thy have some terrible employees working for them if he said some false info to say about me when I don’t know him
Lazy workers, lowest scape paying yard. They don't know the difference between metals, you will get ripped off Highly recommend not going it will be the worst experience ever!!!
Really liked this place, Preston was a really cool guy I thought he had so some really interesting things to say. I’ve wondered a lot about my time here on this earth and what it’s all for, I’m glad I found a good auto parts place to ease the eternal rot
Great service! However will not pay for this outer copper inner brass pool heat exchanger as clean brassOnly offered to pay as dirty brass....big difference in price.
Preston’s is the best scrap yards in Kissimmee! They are efficient and professional in their work. All the employees are nice and helpful as well. I always enjoy doing business with them!

First experience at Preston's was easy with a few exceptions. Not bad but as a newbie signs at the start about the process would be helpful. Pulled onto the scales and then went to small scales for the few items I had. Got ready to leave, pulled back on the scale and was met by an attendant. Who then asked if I was processed coming in (which I wasnt). Was then informed that I needed to go and get the items I left so pictures could be taken and records taken. All that to say that a few signs at the start of the process would have alleviated confusion later.
After spendins all morning loading my scrap metal in my truck and trailer and driving all the way here these people have the gates closed on a weekday at 1230 there are clearly people inside working but the wont open the gates or answer the phone to al least let people know they are closed and when they will reopen
I've been to many scrap yards but I frequent this one the most. They are very professional and helpful. The owner even helped me out with gas one time when I ran out with money from his own wallet.
Great place to bring metal and cans too, as of 11/6/18 r the small scale person was not to touch my truck he stoled the wire from my truck i was very unhappy beware
I love how the son help when I have a problems at the junk yard he love helping you have so tell his dad that his son can do it so your dad needs to setback and relax your son got it
Quick and easy guys running the place cool. Picked up a tire and rim for my honda and ended up grabbing the wrong size. Came back a few days later and they were cool with me just exchanging it out.
