Let’s just say who ever picks up the phone is the most vile piece of scum that has walked the planet. I feel sorry for his mother and anyone who comes in contact with him. Scammers. Took a fully registered vehicle fully insured from infont of my apartment while I was at work , stopped by to pick up paperwork to transfer car information to new car and he stated well it didn’t matter. Called for location for I can pick up personal belongings and he refused to give the address. Not an actual facility, rude unprofessional employee or owner, worst experience. Hopefully this helps someone else in the future.
I am writing to report an issue with the equipment I purchased from this seller. When I got home and tested it, I found that it does not work. I contacted the seller to inform them about the problem, but they claimed that everything was working before I took it. When I asked the seller to fix the issue, they refused and responded with, "Yes, I am a scammer, be careful and don't deal with scammers." I can provide screenshots of our conversation if necessary.
I HIGHLY recommend the services of Rick Scott’s Towing and their multitude of other services…Services that are conducted with the most upfront, forthright, and professionalism you can get. If I’m ever in a jam I will NOT use any other company from this point on. You can get good service anywhere really…but GREAT service can only be given by decent people…and that’s the immediate impression I got. I’m glad to have done business with them!
Seemed ok until he got bike to the shop& refused to drop said he needed one of shop personal to get on truck and ride it as he lowered shop said policy not to liability reasons said would operate switch while he did that long story short , refused to drop & took bike to his place
I always check reviews when booking or hiring or buying Anything! My fiancé saw a car on marketplace in the middle of the night that he wanted it and needed towed. Long story short we called Scott's towing he wasn't the cheapest but the quickest response. His reviews were kind of misleading some were 1 star and some were 5! I can not speak for anyone else. My experience was great he had a great /corky sense of humor over the phone. In person he was very polite courteous. I uploaded a few pictures. He went above and beyond helping us tow the car from the individuals location from where we purchase it. He also gave us a lot of insight of what was wrong with the vehicle. He got under the vehicle and pointed a few things out to my fiancé. Again just spectacular service . If I ever need anything towed again I will call Scott and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
After searching on line to get my motorcycle towed from one location to my home garage from a tire air leak decided to reach out to my insurance agent after giving up on the search & many calls (pays to have coverage on a motorcycle) who in which made the arrangements with Scott's Towing & Recovery to have my motorcycle picked up & delivered to my home, with an expected wait time from 60-90 min. Was actually within 30min & these two guys called ahead b4 arriving, delivered with care and very professional. Extremely satisfied highly recommend to anyone.
I was getting ready for work and my car wouldn’t start. I had Scott’s number and I called him at 7 AM. He was so polite. He asked me what was wrong with the car and when I told him he also asked how I was going to get to work. So thoughtful. We have never met but he said I could just leave the keys in the car. I live on property with horses. He called and let me know when he got to my property and when he had the car loaded and that he closed the gate when he left. He asked me some questions about the car, gave me advice and saved me a huge repair bill. Great service. Great guy.
Wow wow wow. This company helped us when everyone one said no. My husband and were stuck on the turnpike on our way back home from a show at 4 am and Geico couldn't find us anyone to tow us home and they were the only ones who responded. Scott knew that we were having a rough night and he managed to put a smile on our faces and made is feel like everything was going to be ok. I DEFINITELY would recommend them to anyone and everyone who needs a helping hand in the the middle of an unfortunate time They are the best.
Got in a jam, called my towing insurance they sent scott out and let me tell you he saved the day BIG time. I will be forever grateful to scott. I highly recommend scott towing. I would give it 10 stars but can't.

Clean , friendly, professional. We were stranded in Orlando 70 miles from home. MR Scott towed our car and brought us in his truck cab all the way back home. You feel at ease and safe in their hands. We only waited 40 min in high traffic near Disney. He was courteous in every way.Highly recommend. Crazy one star reviews are from disgruntled car owners who parked illegally and were towed. Do not hesitate..call today if in need.
This towing company runs a scam on people. Pay $75 up front to avoid having to wait in line. Then if you tell them No, when it is them who is called to pick you up, they accept it and then decide not to pick you up. Nothing but a bunch of crooks, scamming people.
What if it were a mom, pregnant woman or a not so nice area. Do you really want people like this picking you up and trying to scam you for money when your car breaks down.
Quite often when your car is towed, justification of why it’s towed is valid. In my case the reason my car was towed will never be justified. My car was towed from my office parking lot while I was out on a work related matter in the middle of the night. When I explained the situation to the owner it was like talking to a brick wall. Not only did the owner have no remorse for the situation, but after trying to dispute the situation with my company, I was charged double for leaving my car at the tow company while trying to sort everything out. The owner of the tow company and the building manager did nothing to help mitigate the situation even though the dispute could’ve easily been settled. The owner has horrible business practices and horrible professionalism.
Man who runs the business is very disrespectful and prejudice. He seems to hate every race besides his own and that to me is a disgusting way to live life, let alone run a business. Then they have the audacity to charge me extra and then not finish the job. When I called, they said they'd do the rest for extra cash. They ripped me off and stole my money, I'd never ever recommend this place.
The initial phone call went fine. Problem is I was supposed to be contacted when they were close. Two and a half hours later and I haven't heard anything.
If you could avoid dealing with this place, I would say to stay as far away as possible because the level of professionalism is near non-existent. Traveling with a group of 9 women from UCF on a trip for our school organization, we rented a vacation home and ended up getting our car towed by Scott's. The owner of the car called and let Scott (the owner) know that her name was not on the registration, being that we're in college most of our cars are still in our parents names, Scott said that it was fine as long as the address on the registration and on the Driver's license matched it was fine. We get there and Scott tells us that he never said that it was okay for us to come get the car and refused to let the car go because it was illegal. We asked for a written policy, FL state law that states the documents he needed and even called the local Sheriff's department, who said to us "Do you have an iPhone? Google it." Scott only wants to keep the car an extra day to receive extra payment and the Deputies were also of no service. We had the person whose name is on the registration on the phone send over the VIN number, insurance records, and Scott still did not release the car. The owner's mother now has to drive 2 hours from St. Petersburg to retrieve the car... the deputy told us "It's not that bad of a drive... she can come down." We're definitely now seeking to report Scott's business as well as the local sheriff department deputies that were dispatched.
Readers that see 5 stars, Dont believe them. Worst company ever. When your car gets towed it sucks. But then when you have to deal with someone who is ignorant and wants to abuse their power it's even worse. I went on vacation in Kissimmee,Fl and stayed at Key Fiesta. It is our fault for not reading the fine print and seeing that we were not supposed to park at the club house. However, after reading the fine print it stated we were not supposed to park on the grass, on the street, at the clubhouse or behind the vehicles. We stayed at a 4 bedroom Villa and were only supplied 2 parking spaces so there was no where else to park. We should have been given a parking permit for our additional vehicle to park at the clubhouse. Anyways when trying to call the towing company to get the car back they gave us the run around. Bevause it was a rental and our name wasn't on the car, they did not want to give us the address! They gave us the run around for hours and the police said they could not do anything about it because it's their policy. This happened in freaking Kissimmee,Fl one of the world's largest vacation destinations. People rent cars every day!! Huge inconvenience thankfully we didn't have a flight to catch. We will have to leave here and drive back tomorrow because rental place is closed on sunday. This is all about money and the company getting extra cash for leaving the car a extra day. When people with highschool degrees are given positions of power it spells a recipe for disaster. If I could I'd give 0 stars.
Tow Truck driver was rude to me a disabled U.S.Marine and my daughter in law on the phone. He had no balls to talk to me like that face to face. Had to call Police just to get a receipt. If he reads this I'll be at Howard Johnson hotel, room 116 until Tuesday if you decide to grow some balls.
I had a car accident near Neptune Rd and Florida's Turnpike, I was rear ended and also front end damage after it got pushed into the vehicle ahead. After a few calls to other towing company's Scott's Towing & Recovery had the most reasonable price he towed my car to a nearest mechanic shop. I MUST SAY AWESOME customer service, this towing company really knows how to treat their customers, I felt really comfortable letting them pick up my vehicle that had major damage after this accident, very friendly and very affordable, I would recommend this business to anyone looking for a towing company.
Really great guy- gave me mechanic reccs, came to my house and diagnosed the problem with my car. even told me how to fix it at home and offered advice on how to save some cash through a roadside assistance service available to me! I don't even have to bother trying other people, Scott is my go-to guy.
