Had a tow guy come out and he checked my battery and said it was low. He did not provide any other service and then told me there was no charge. The next day I was told there was a charge if $65 for a jump start. Said my insurance wasn’t covering the cost. Claimed All State, which is not my provider, was contacted. I paid the fee but felt like the communication was lacking and that I was ripped off. Please be aware if using this service. I won’t use them again.
Christy came and opened the lot on a Saturday for us to get our towed vehicle. It was a major inconvenience as they're not open Saturdays for retrieval but she will work with you if you are nice. She gave me advice on talking to my insurance company about covering the tow as well.
Great overall experience with William. He did great at helping guide us since it was our first time using towing service and getting into a car accident. He also followed through very well and was very timely with the drop off to our house. Will be using again in the future and recommending to others.
BJ’s Towing is the best! We have used them numerous times over the years and always get the best service. Grateful we have a local company that can service the community so well!
Let me start by saying the context that this company does business is obviously run by arrogance and greed. From the owner to the staff.
When my vehicle and trailer were towed by this company it can be problematic but not to the extent that this facility made it.
The owner and staff, especially the male, who thinks he’s above the law, tried everything to make it impossible for me to obtain my property. I am fortunate that I have resources both financially and contacts so that I could retrieve my property. I could have cared less about the trailer but this company’s conduct made it a mission for me.
She literally bragged to me about all the property she has because she makes it completely unrealistic for owners to get their equipment or vehicles back. And how she has lots with unclaimed property. I am sure she profits from these unclaimed properties.
For the male that works there it came to a point I had to get Florida highway patrol sergeant involved. This person thought he was a judge or a lawyer in the what he thought he could make me do to get my equipment. I went there to do a VIN identification with Apopka Police and he told me he wasn’t wasting their time because I did not have the correct information. How wrong he was.
When I went to get my trailer this past week, the female that was in there was telling all of my personal information to another person who was in there. This person did not need to tell someone they do not know the relationship to me any of my information on what happened or transpired so that my equipment was impounded there. Another completely unprofessional act.
I have already filed a complaint with the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles form 84901 to the state of Florida on their business practices.
The arrogant gratification they receive from peoples unfortunate financial limitations is disgusting. And they can sit there all day long and tell me that they were just doing what is within the law. Its absolutely incorrect. What I witnessed was not the law, the owner and her staff went above and beyond to make it virtually impossible for anyone to get anything back from them.
Do not use this service! Chris was very rude and not very understating of my situation at all. She spoke to me with no compassion and was not willing to reasonable. All I ask is that you are reasonable and be compassionate, especially if you are running a business. If I had the option of using them as a tow company again and not getting a car towed. I guess my car will not be towed!!!
Horrible company. The "owner" is extremely nasty. Refuses to answer any questions about my bill. If you can help not using this tow company, save yourself the headache and don't.
The drive who picked up my car was very rude. The police officer called him, I did not, but he was very rude. When I asked him the name of the company and the phone number he told me to look on the side of the truck and wouldn't even acknowledge me. He was a real jerk.
I called the office the next day to check on my vehicle and the lady who answered the phone was not very pleasant either. Her tone made me feel like I was being a bother.
The tow company was not my choice or I would have taken my business elsewhere.
BJ Towing was very nice in explaining what I need to do to retrieve my car, the young lady I talked to was very pleasant talk to and knowledgeable and they also retrieve my car in a timely manner.
The prices are very reasonable. The employees are outta this world nice and understanding. My son was in a accident and was hurt severely. The gentleman who went to get the motorcycle was very helpful with the questions I had with the damage sustained to his vehicle. I would recommend this company for any of your towing needs. Awesome ppl

In the last two years we have had to use BJ’s twice. Both times we were met by kind and helpful drivers in a timely manner. The price is always fair. Grateful to have this local business here to service our community.

Horrible customer service! The lady who answered the phone was rude & nasty. She had an attitude like she was upset that she was being bothered to do her job. I waited for 40 mins with no truck here yet, which was fine but it gave me time to think about the way she spoke to me, so I cancelled the tow because why should I give them my business if they feel they're being bothered by me. I googled other tow companies and decided on Empire towing, LLC. They were so nice, cheaper and faster. While BJ's towing told me 45mins but most likely longer with an attitude Empire towing said they were on their way and would be to me in 20-25 mins max but got here in 15.
Very nice and VERY HELPFUL! Able to pay not only for towing but all of the other items due to the accident, even though I was the one hit. Will recommend to family and friends as well as use again if needed!
I have my truck in there yard called 3 times different person each time all said my truck was not there very unprofessional and trying to charge me $ and there office has been closed for the weather so how was this my fault so I'm going to complain 100% this is not good business and for them to be towing for our state officer someone can help me thanks
I was arested Tuesday night and my car was impounded it has been there since then. They are charging me over 450 dollars which 250 of it goes to apopka police. I was arrested on suspicion of dui and Orange County called the car store towing and the only charged me 167.00. These people are straight up criminals they like to take our money they could give two sh&ts and about us.I would never recommend this company to my enemy.I am going there this morning to pick up my car and I'll probably have to pay an extra $20 making the total just around $470 for my car being there just one night. I really hate BJ's towing company
My car was spitting fuel everywhere; AAA wouldn't come tow me until the fire department was called and everything was contained. Once done, AAA couldn't get any of their contracted tow companies to come get me, so I called BJ's at the recommendation of the fire department. They arrived in 10mins, and got me going in no time. Thanks for being so quick!
I don't know how to write a nicer review... My girlfriend broke down on the 429 and I gave them a call to get her towed to the garage we use in Apopka. She was scared, upset and a bit frantic. The woman I spoke with at BJ's was very nice and said she'd have someone there as soon as possible. The truck was there in about 30 minutes and it turns out she had simply run out of gas. The driver got her up and running and didn't even charge her, but he accepted a hug. I can't say they'd be that generous every time, but boy, did they do us a solid. Can't thank or recommend them enough.
