An employee called me early in the morning after an accident and got accusatory because they couldn't find my vehicle on their lot despite me having a photo from the tow company. I was asked "you don't know where your vehicle is?" As if I was stupid I gave the address the tow trucks river gave me and it was their lot and she said it was impossible. They refused to speak to the insurance company after I could not recollect the name of the tow company they contracted and she told me to figure it out and call back. When I said the employee from the day prior stated she would speak to the insurance company about the dropoff location, I got talked down to about "how it goes". When the insurance company was able to get back to me, they stated that the vehicle was checked into their lot shortly after they called me (guess they found it). When I called to ask for answers as to why they lost track of my vehicle, they told me there was nothing they could do. I was surprised at the attitude after the woman from the day prior was super nice and told me not to worry about anything. During both calls the next day they kept blaming everything on not being able to hear me. The one woman even questioned how I was holding my phone. I was holding it normal, not sure if there's a clarity issue on their phone lines as I was on the phone all morning looking for my car without issue. Luckily I didn't have to report the car as stolen. My insurance company apologized profusely for the situation. If they don't total my vehicle, I am absolutely not using this company for repairs. After seeing some of the reviews, I'm so glad I took everything out of the vehicle as they seem to have a security issue as well. Never again do I want to do business with this company willingly. Hopefully the insurance companies drop them.

I had the best experience after a horrible wreck working with Miss Nelda and Miss Sonya! They were personable, professional, and reassured me that everything would be ok! Highly recommend this company to work with!

I would give a zero rating if that was an option. Awful company, dishonest slow. Keeping my car past the date. This is not a company you want to do business with end up costing you so much money. They don't care they're slow they don't work on the weekends. My car was towed there on a head-on collision not my choice. No one gave me a choice and now these people have my car and are not releasing it because they are taking their ever living time. They do not care about customer service. They do not care about your situation. They do not care at all. They will hold your vehicle against your will because legally they have the right to do so so they enjoy that meanwhile costing me the customer dollars and dollars and dollars every day they have my car. USAA forced my car to be towed there. Stay away from the USAA and Copart. They are working together and not in favor of the client. This company should not even be allowed to do business. They do not work on the weekends.

I got T boned on the 6th my and I was taken to hospital from the scene and my car was towed. My car ended up here for an inspection by the insurance company. The 10th my car was considered a total loss. So I made the hour drive to get my personal belongings. Was I surprised when I got there it must be a free for all there. The change collection I had was gone my prescription was gone , my k-tuner was gone my laptop was gone which had years of pictures backed up on it gone. The lady inside was like we don't steal around here and she said she was getting a manger which never ended up showing up. Agrivacated and still in pain from the accident I finally left after waiting over 30 minutes. The lady said she would have somebody reach out to me I waited and I waited. I call back the next day about 3:30 p.m. and ask if anybody had found the stuff that it went missing. She said no and that she would be sure to have a manager get in touch with me two days later still nothing. I just want to say to the thief that stole my stuff I hope bad things come your way. If I could have given 0 star I would have I just can't believe these people, someone gets injured any use that as an opportunity to steal. Hoping by chance the thief will read this I will pay you if need be to get the laptop back I can't replace those pictures on it you can keep the rest of the stuff. I won't call the cops it's a cheap laptop that I only paid $200 for 2 years ago so it ain't worth much but the pictures inside are worth a lot to me. Don't ever do business with these people their thieves.

Yesterday was my first time visiting this facility, I went to pick up my personal items after an accident that left my car total. To my surprise all my belongings were missing. Apparently someone search my car and help himself like it was his vehicle. Ruin my day right away. I want to thanks Ms. Lory that was very sweet and help me very kindly by addressing the issue to the yard manager. He came over and told me that the items might have been stolen at Car Storage facility. Not true because I was there when they pick up my vehicle. Also, my car has way more damage than the day of the accident. I assume they are careless about how they move vehicles around. Best advice, try your best to pick up your belongings ASAP or you running the chance of not finding anything in the vehicle like me.

Am i the only copart buyer that is sick and tired of getting chareged these outragous storage fees. they have a monopoly on the insurance car business and they are making millions of dollars every day charging clients storage fees while we are barely scapeing out a profit. so unfair!!!!

I will try as much as possible to buy cars but never at this yard, I have visited many yards and in all of them everything goes well, you always arrive and in a few minutes they take the car out, in this one they are super disorganized very unfriendly and it is always a problem to get the car out, they have made me wait up to an hour to give me a car, even once, I bought a golf cart and when I came to pick it up the car never appeared, it simply disappeared and weeks went by before I was able to get a response from the yard manager, SIMPLY BAD! super bad service!

Today was my very first time visiting, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The lady at the front desk, Nilda, was very rude, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. She lacks basic customer service skills and treated me with a clear lack of respect. Her attitude was hostile and offensive, and it’s clear she does not know how to speak to customers properly. Copart should not have staff like her representing the company. She definitely needs training in professionalism and respectful communication. Very unhappy with the way I was treated.

I come to drop off a vehicle I’m a dealer owner and come to this branch to drop off vehicle and pick up as well the staff here are very friendly I been coming here for 3yrs now Today is very first time that come and the lady at front was very rude and not professional at all, copart don’t need staff like her she definitely needs customer service experience her name is Nilda Not happy with her unprofessional service

If I could give them zero stars I would. They stole my friends stereo equipment out of her car and then put it up for auction before they even accepted a total loss or handed in a title. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE, THEY WILL STEAL YOUR STUFF.

Making this review because I was refused entry 1/5/25 to preview a vehicle on site. I am an authorized business account user (brokerage) and was told by the broker I would be able to view and bid on vehicles. I even called Copart's own member services line and they said it's fine, but once I said I wasn't allowed access, the rep then says every location is different so which is it? Traveled 2 hours and paid tolls to get there, though it shouldn't matter how far I traveled. For reference I have visited in NY, SC, GA, IN, PA and a few other locations where the appropriate licenses are needed including.... FL

My car was totaled and was brought to this location. My insurance company screwed up and forgot to add a note to the account that said i was able to come and retrieve my stereo equipment from the car. When they finally cleared things up and the note was added, i called Copart to make sure everything was squared away, before i made the drive out there. It’s not close to where i live. The lady i talked to checked and said yes, the note was added. This was on Wednesday, June 14th. I said I would be coming the next day to get the items. I made the 35 minute drive there today (June 15th) just to be told that my car was no longer there, and hadn’t been since Tuesday. So it was already gone when the lady on the phone told me the car was there and that i could come the next day. So not only did i not get to retrieve my several hundred dollars worth of equipment out of the vehicle, i also completely wasted over an hour driving, as well as had to use gas and pay for tolls for the trip. Good stuff!

My car was taken there due to accident, through my insurance company. It was a total loss. I went to pick up personal items, only to find all my stuff was thrown in the trunk and soaking wet. Two items were missing: my toll transponder and a Bluetooth adapter that was plugged into the jack in my car to play music. The person helping me was kind, but had no idea what to tell me about my missing items. Wish I could give no stars. I would never personally choose to do business with this company.

Careful…. Place will try to literally steal your car. Only got paid after having to chase the tow tuck just leaving collision center. Was supposed to get check for the car (guy has no check) had to chase them 20 minutes calling them to get the driver pulled over. Driver gave 3 different locations where we will get the check. Non had it. After 30 minutes of chasing guy down the high way finally pulled over. And magically produced a check. Sketchy and terrifying business. Go else where!!!

The reason I am making it one star is due to the fact, this company’s communication lacks on so many different levels. My insurance issued this company to pick up my now totaled vehicle. When the company called me initially, the representative and I agreed upon that the tow driver could come any time AS LONG AS they called me an hour prior. The first time the tow came, I got a phone call saying that they were already at my residence. They had to be turned away because I specifically asked for an hour in advance so I could be there and I was not there at the time. I called and spoke with another representative who ALSO ensured that the next time, a phone call would be issued in advance and more than likely they would not be picking it up that day because it was already towards the end of the business day and it was Friday. After I arrived home later that night, I realized that my vehicle was GONE. I called the tow company associated with my apartment complex, no. I contacted my leasing agency, no. I almost called the police to search for my vehicle, just to find that my vehicle is posted ONLINE on the Copart website!! So I called and voiced my concern to be left with “we try to not tell them to notify you in an hour advancement due to our high volume of imported vehicles” EXCUSES. You DO NOT do that to people. As a former HR Specialist, seeing other Customer Service representatives in your office and how this company operates left a very dissatisfied taste in my mouth.

Allen the General Manager in this yard is a ROCK STAR! I emailed the yard for a title request - 3 minutes later I had a reply and few minutes later a tracking number follow-up. FedEx ended up losing the title, so I reached back out to Allen, sure enough the results were exactly the same! Immediate response and a follow-up with a duplicate title process confirmation. I have been buying on Copart since 2004 - I can tell this yard is doing something right. Someone get this GM a promotion!

Picking up a car contact Allen his the man! Berry professional dude. I think his the main manager there at north Orlando copart. Got my car tow and my title and I was on my way thank you so much Allen. I don’t understand why the attitude with the lady’s they take my money for the car they don’t care if ur white, black,Mexican,Cuban, Chinese they take that money don’t matter the race. But are not whiling to provide equal service. But Allen handle everything perfect and some other lady didn’t get her name she change her attitude at the end of the day

Just left this location after what was supposed to be a visit to retrieve my personal belongings from my totaled vehicle - the majority of my personal items were stolen. Many of these had sentimental value, as well. When I returned to the office, no one was around to assist me. Extremely unprofessional and disgusting.

This company lies and has a major lack of communication when it comes to picking up my car that is totaled and in a backyard that needs to be opened. First time they showed up with wrong truck. Second time they just didn't show up in time frame we agreed on. Third time somehow the manager just "deleted" our appointment and we waited all day wondering when truck was coming. And now on the FOURTH day they didn't show in time frame we agreed on and then just showed up and left without calling so we can open gate for them to get the car. I shouldn't have to be dealing with this when someone else totaled my car and I can't get another car till this one is picked up for the insurance to pay me.

This place doesn't deserve 1 star. Made an appointment to tow my truck before 8 and 4 today. Never showed up. Told my insurance company that they towed the vehicle yesterday. Nothing but lies out of this company. No call. Nothing. No emergency or on call number on voicemail. What's wrong with this company?????

They refused to service me because I didn’t have a mask. Only two employees in the building we’re wearing masks and they offered me to buy a mask. There are about 12 employees not wearing a mask on the phones. Yeah employees were rude in uncourteous I would not recommend going to this copart. There’s always a problem with customer service at this location

We run an auto repair shop, so we deal with a LOT of tow truck drivers. Yesterday David came by to pick up a totaled vehicle and went above and beyond what any tow truck driver has ever done (to be honest, they're usually pretty grumpy). Our 2yo Little Dude was playing with a truck in our office before going to his babysitter’s house. David, the tow truck driver comes in to get keys for to the vehicle. I step out to get the keys and David is now on the floor playing with my son. He then left to put the car on the truck. Once it’s secure, he invites Little Dude to help him operate the levers that raise the bed of the truck. Our son was smiling from ear to ear! David gave him a high five and was on his way. I called David’s boss (also very friendly) to tell him how he went above and beyond. Our family has been going through some difficult things and to see someone going out of their way to brighten my kid's life, when I KNOW it would have been faster to just do it himself, meant the world to us.

Don’t ever let your car go to Copart after an accident!! They will go though your car without your knowledge or permission! I had personal things damaged and stolen from my car! And they will not hold anyone accountable for their actions! I talk to the manager and she did nothing about it. Location at Apopka,Fl Even found out they took a A/C part out of my vehicle as well!! WORST EXPERIENCE!!!

This company is full of thieves. Roughly 1200$ worth of things were stolen out of my vehicle and they claim they dont know what to tell me.. But I assure you i will contact the Better Business Bureau. The news will have a story and I will contact my lawyer.. This is ridiculous that ppl have the nerve to steal things that i bought with my hard earned money!! I will not just suck it up and take it as a loss.

If I could give no starts I would. Items were stolen out of my car by their drivers and they didnt investigate the situation. The inside of my car was also cleaned out and everything was thrown in the trunk except for my most expensive items which were 3 big MK purses. I spoke to multiple people and it was like talking to a wall. I'm also in the Law Enforcement Academy, when I start working accidents I will personally go out my way to warn people about this company. I'm going to contact there corporate office and put in a complaint with the BBB.
