Saw the tow truck driver pull over and get a huge metal tool box out of the road to save other drivers from having an accident or damage. Just being a great person.
Corey did a great job! I've been in the automotive industry for my entire life. I locked my key in the car like a dummy.... Corey picked us up and really helped us. Definitely would recommend this tow company to anyone as they are personable wich is hard to find these days
Cory showed up and the was the most courteous driver tow guy! He was a caring professional who knows his profession! Also, he said he was going to wait for me to drive away safely (until my car was released from winch) and we both pulled back safely away from the tight area we were in. Highly recommended.
Mara was such a pleasure to deal with, I had a vehicle left on my property and needed a private tow. After all of the other tow companies gave me the run around she helped walk me through everything I needed to do and had the vehicle off my property within two hours. Even though it was a little bit of a difficult tow due to me not having the keys Corey took care of it and went the extra mile to handle it all for me!
Tried so many other towing company and this was the only one that picked up my call, they assisted me immediately I am very much satisfied with the level of response and service I receive from this company.
Regrettably, the quality of customer service was subpar. The manager, Josh, exhibited poor behavior towards me. It would be prudent to consider replacing him with an alternative candidate.
Do not recommend in the slightest, the owner was extremely rude, and there was horrible service. He refused to give us our vehicle back until we got the police involved.
Jeremy from Autoworks was absolutely phenomenal. My car had a massive coolant leak on a Sunday evening in Destin and I live in Biloxi, MS and so I was really in a tough spot. Jeremy pulled up extremely quickly, was super helpful, knowledgeable and efficient with his work, and he even left my car and key in a secure location at the shop he towed it to so that I could get back on the road home. Thank you Jeremy and Autoworks, yall deserve more stars if I could give them.
We got stuck off roading over the weekend. We called them and they were able to call us back and give us an estimate of time and money. We ended up not need their services but we appreciated the quick response from them!
Me and my family was in Fort Walton for vacation when my car decided to not start in a condo garage. I attempted to call every wrecker service in Fort Walton and Destin with most acting as if they could care less and also not having what they need to do the job. As soon as I called, the dispatcher said we have someone en route. I believe his name was Mark showed up and then the owner. Both was super respectful and was sincere to help. They was able to get my car started and out of the garage (while it was raining). They recommended what needed to be done and where to get it fixed. For someone out of my element and with my whole family, they was extremely helpful and made sure I was taken care of. Needs more than 5 stars.
We are vacationing in Destin and the battery on our car died. Jeremy from auto works came to the rescue. He was very polite and helpful. Highly recommend this company for 24 hours oad side assistance, they can do tire changes, lock out, and jumps. Thank you for coming to our rescue!
We are in Destin on vacation, our car was towed by Josh yesterday from Harbor Walk for allegedly parking on a sidewalk. Their parking staff was awful and refused to let us speak to the towing company and just pay the fee right there to get the car. We walked 2.2 miles with our family to get the car back. When we arrived Josh was shocked to know they wouldn’t let us talk to him and that we had walked so far with our kids. Josh made a bad situation much better for us. He was very kind, let us come in the ac and cool off. Our phones had died he allowed us to charge them. We had been in the phone for two hours with our rental company getting them to email what he needed to release the car. He even called himself to a local office to get assistance. He was so friendly to us the entire time. He helped make it better for us and helped us get our car back. He also did a great job towing the car, I am a mechanic as well and there was not a single scratch on the car. Their prices were very reasonable. The business office was very clean and nice. Josh was a complete professional. If you ever need a tow while here I would 10/10 recommend Josh and this location! Especially if your a woman. This was a place you could feel safe with. My wife and daughter were with us and they were very comfortable. Thanks Josh for being a blessing to our family in a bad situation! You really went above and beyond and we will never forget you! Our little one who’s 10 got in the car and said, it’s sure nice to see there are kind people here after dealing with those mean guys in the parking lot! That speaks volumes when a kid notices kindness and good service!
My hood was up and I had no clue what was wrong with my car and they noticed me and came by. Hopefully we figured it out jumpstarted my car for me completely free. Showed so much kindness and amazing service. Really showed a servant heart Not just looking out for money or for ways to make money, but looking out for people and I thought they were amazing. It just helped me because I live an hour away from Destin, and it was just awesome!
I needed to have my car towed for a bad tire and luckily for me, Kory from AutoWorks Towing, Recovery and Repair was the person who came to pick up the car. He was very professional. He took great care while loading my vehicle and was courteous and kind in my dealings with him. It was very obvious that Kory cares about doing a great job and helping people. And was very kind about my dog. And we arrived in time for Repair that evening. Your man, he was very fast taking my H2 off that rig. I was very satisfied with your help. This is the second time in a few years with two separate vehicles that you helped me..Your company is top notch. I will not forget you guys. Autoworks was awesome! I called around and most companies couldn't come out until a later time or date, autoworks was able to come within an hour, and drop off in a timely manner. The driver (I wish I could remember his name, he towed my 2011 Ford ranger from the shop) was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable, he was able to give some good advice on what was going on with my truck.
Called roadside assistance for my Volkswagen atlas, they were there within 15 minutes, super professional, kind, and had my car towed to dealership within the hour. Highly recommend. We have had experience with many local tow truck companies over the years and this was by far the best experience we’ve had!
Jeremy was the driver who picked up my car and I can’t say enough how much he put my mind at ease with being so accommodating and keeping me updated. My car is my lifeline for my business and this unexpected situation could’ve felt very overwhelming, But Jeremy was sent to help and his demeanor and compassion made it easy to trust him.

AAA sent these guys out and Josh was a huge help. He worked with the locksmith we had called and absolutely did more than the standard AAA sent tow. We appreciate him and the extra time he took with us in a difficult situation and would recommend him or his company any time.

The response below is false. We called originally at 7:45 in the evening, and had service scheduled. I personally spoke with someone at Auto Works prior to the time they are saying it was dispatched. I asked them to let me know by midnight if they would be able to come take care of our problem or not. We waited up well after midnight and they never got back to me. We did not receive a single phone call as they claim. We also requested that someone knock on the door when they arrived, which they did not. We have dogs that bark and go crazy when the doorbell rings or someone knocks and they didn’t even get out of the car or attempt to knock on the door if they actually came, probably because it was raining. They just canceled our service request without even telling us. When I tried to ask about this, the person on the phone yelled at me and hung up on me. We called another place and they were out within 15 minutes and had the issue resolved, with friendly polite service. The way I was treated by Auto Works was completely unnecessary and unacceptable. This place has Horrible - Horrible customer service. We waited 12 hours after scheduling a service, called repeatedly and were pushed off. When I called to follow up, they were extremely rude and hung up on me. Choose any other place if you want someone to actually show up and not be incredibly rude.
Absolutely fantastic! Came out within an hour of us calling after a different company left us high and dry. My car battery was dead and we weren't able to put the car in neutral but the driver had "skates" to reduce as much dragging as possible. Their communication with us was awesome (confirmed dispatch, called when he was 20 minutes out and then when he was 5 minutes away) and he had the car up on the flat bed in less than 15 minutes, which is impressive considering we were right off a 4 way stop sign at a busy intersection. Would ABSOLUTELY use them again
Had a Lifted 96 Tahoe toed to my home from Destin to Pensacola. Driver was friendly and my Tahoe arrived safely. They were right within $ 30 of the quoted price I received from two other tow companies. But went with them because of the time in business.
I was out traveling and I had no idea where I was because I'm from another state. The dispatcher was so kind and patient with me. She was able to find my location and sent the best driver ever. Driver was very knowledgeable, respectful and loaded up my car without any issue. Would recommend especially when your traveling alone and somethings happens call them. Thanks again.
I'm not from the area so I didn't know any companies n gambled on this one I found online. Mara took my call and was so reassuring....it felt good that being in an unfamiliar area having a nice voice getting me taken care of. She got a driver over to me within an hour. The driver did a good job getting me loaded up and down the road, even recommended a really good tire shop. Great teamwork!!!
Absolutely amazing company. My rental broke down on hwy 98 with my girlfriend and two young kids in the car. The dispatchers were amazing to work with and had their driver en route almost immediately. Within minutes of hanging up with the dispatch office their driver Kory was calling me with a 10 minute eta and asking all the questions he needed to be able to find us quickly and efficiently. He ended up beating his eta and quickly got my girlfriend and kids loaded into his truck and then quickly dealt with the car and we were on our way back to enterprise for another car. Would highly recommend autoworks towing and recovery.
Today we were given this business to call as a recommendation from an insurance company (who has now removed them as a provider). Our teenage daughter was out of state and her vehicle broke down. They were dispatched and picked up her car approximately 2 hours later. I could complain about the wait time but that's not even half my concern. The driver loaded her car and proceeded to answer other calls throughout the day never delivering her car to the shop for repairs. When we called several hours later to find out the car's diagnostics, the shop said they were wondering why the car was never delivered! The driver then had the nerve to tell us he might not drop it off until the next day! After a stern conversation and learning insurance was demanding the car (and that we were willing to file a police report), they delivered the car to the shop just before closing, costing us another day of travel expenses and potentially delaying the repairs of our vehicle. This is the most unprofessional and unreliable service I've ever experienced. Do not ever call this place or rely on them for your towing needs. You may not even see your car again for who knows how long.
