I took my car in for a problem with the lights that had a loose connection. After several hours, not only did they fail to fix the issue, but I left with more problems than I had when I arrived: the brake lights stopped working and multiple dashboard warning icons were on. I basically lost my entire morning there, and on top of that they charged me $100 for essentially nothing, just to give me a $500 and something estimate for something they couldn’t even properly fix. Very disappointing experience.

I have been coming to this auto shop over 5 years. Truly amazing at how transparent and straightforward the service advisors and mechanics are. They always caught things during the repairs and advised me on the severity of it. I will be coming back whenever I need work done on my car when I move back to Miami.

Typical Miami Tire issue of nail in tire but it was before huge studio recording session, I ran in visibly nervous and attendant helped with the tire before it damaged further. This location was kind to me when I had difficult day and got me back on the road quickly! Thank you so much, been visiting this location over the years, but new name & ownership really has updated this location. Gained lifelong customer, appreciate it Ronald!

I called Armstrong auto care in Virginia Gardens in the morning and asked if they had time to do an alignment that day. That said yes and to bring it in. I dropped it off before noon and it was ready by 3:30pm. Price was great and the service was excellent!

Absolutely unacceptable experience at Armstrong Auto Care. After having my vehicle for several hours, they waited until about 20 minutes before closing to inform me that they were unable to change a tire because they allegedly do not have the tools to service a BMW. Let that sink in. This is not even the first time this has happened. Years ago, when this same shop was operating under the name Doral Auto Care, I experienced the exact same issue. Back then, as now, I was asked whether I had a “special lug nut key” at my house. Newsflash: I’m not a mechanic. If the dealership or manufacturer provided anything special, it would be in the vehicle, not sitting in my home. They claimed it wasn’t there. At the last minute, I was given two ridiculous options: 1. Rush over within 10 minutes before closing to empty my trunk so they could try to search for tools themselves, or 2. Pay $85 for them to replace all the lug nuts with something “universal” — conveniently, something they do have the tools for. This isn’t customer service. It’s laziness, poor communication, and complete ineptitude. An auto shop that cannot handle basic, common manufacturers should not be holding customers’ cars all day only to spring this kind of nonsense at closing time. This came from one of the managers, Felipe. No accountability, no solution, and no professionalism. Save yourself the time and frustration. There are plenty of auto shops that are actually equipped to do the job they advertise.

Had a flat tire and came in to get it replaced. They gave me a great price, did a quick scan of the rest of my tires, and shared helpful recommendations without any pressure. Ronald handled everything from start to finish at the front office and was awesome to work with. Super smooth experience overall.

Armstrong Autocare is the best! The team here is professional, honest, and efficient. They always work with you on pricing and packages, making their services economical without sacrificing quality. Wait times are minimal compared to other shops I’ve been to, and they get the job done quickly. I consistently come here for oil changes, tires, alignments, and most recently a tire patch—always a smooth experience. Felipe is a gem, Francisco is excellent, and the entire team truly takes care of you. I really appreciate the service and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable auto care. Brought my Nissan Rogue to Armstrong because the sunroof was leaking directly into the car as well as draining into the bottom under the floor mats. Leaks like this had me thinking I needed a new car but the techs here were able to not only solve the issue, but helped dry the interior as well. I have been coming here for 3 years and have never had any issues. They truly do their best to keep your vehicle in great shape while saving you as much money as possible.

Had an alternator replaced. It failed in less than a year. They replaced again under warranty. That failed in around another year. At this point it was out of the original warranty. The company they use for parts agreed to waive the price of a new one, but this place, the one I was paying, would not waive the labor. Then one year later it failed again. I am not going back again - I'll fix it myself with parts from rockauto. I understand parts can fail, but so many failures makes me question where the parts are coming from and if they're actually new or rebuilt/refurbished. And no gesture of goodwill on the labor when it was just out of warranty by a month, and already the second failure...

I can’t say enough good things about this mechanic! I came in really nervous after hearing a squeaky noise coming from one of my tires. With so many places, you worry that they’ll make up a big problem and charge you for unnecessary repairs. But this shop was the complete opposite—honest, fast, and professional. They quickly diagnosed the issue and found it was nothing major at all—just a little dust on a part of the tire. They simply cleaned it, and the noise was gone! They only charged me the diagnostic fee, no extra hidden costs or upselling. It’s so rare these days to find a mechanic you can truly trust. I’m so grateful for their honesty and efficiency. They’ve definitely earned a loyal customer in me!

I used to be a regular customer for quite some time, bringing in my company’s fleet vehicles for maintenance and repairs. We had always received adequate service and fulfilled our responsibilities as customers. However, my most recent experience was extremely disappointing. About four months ago, we left a vehicle in their parking lot after business hours, placing the key in the dropbox shown in the attached image—just as we had done on several previous occasions. That time, the tow truck driver dropped off the vehicle and placed the key in the box, following the usual instructions. However, an employee named Felipe contacted us abruptly, demanding that we remove the vehicle immediately and threatening to charge us a $500 fee, claiming they had done work on the floor of the premises. His attitude was rude and unprofessional. When I asked for his boss’s phone number to clarify the situation, he never provided it, which made the situation even more frustrating. It’s important to note that we were never informed that we could not leave vehicles there due to their remodeling work, and we had no way of knowing. The dropbox shown in the image was still on display that day, exactly as it had always been. Then, after roughly three months—and in line with the time we had been working together—I decided to bring in another vehicle. At that point, Felipe told me I was no longer allowed to be serviced there and asked me to leave the premises. I’m very disappointed by the way we were treated—especially after being loyal customers. I hope this review helps others understand how they might be treated if they ever find themselves in a similar situation.

Guys did amazing, took such great care of me and my vehicle. Coming from TX I wasn’t sure where to get maintenance done and they’ve done a few of my oil changes now, replaced my wipers and added fluid plus tire pressure (which both were included thanks to my other services). They even helped put on a new tire for me for a great price. 10/10 service. Thanks again!

Update: I have been back several times. Every time, I received excellent service. They worked with me, explaining everything clearly. Even when an issue persisted and they couldn't find out why, they didn't charge me and kept the case open until my car started acting up again and they could run more test. I have watched them work with other customers, and I know that I choose the right place. Excellent service. It seems a bit pricey, but it has been quite a while since I have had to bring my car in to a car center for maintenance. I usually do my own. There was an issue with the part that they changed, but since their work has a guarantee, they ordered a new one yo replace the faulty one. I will be coming here for my car issues from now on. Thanks, guys, for your time and hard work.

Amazing place and great prices . The employees are always super nice and very friendly. I never feel like they over charge and are very truthful. From the moment I walked in. I was greeted by friendly professional staff who not only provided me with a written diagnostic estimate.. they also included other services they recommended to maintain my car in working order. Not just because they were recommended as a AAA Preferred Repair Shop...they gave me Buyers Confidence and I trusted their work and recommend visiting them for all your Automotive services. Had my Oil Changed On a Friday afternoon. Woke up Saturday morning to my driveway full of fresh oil. Was with out a car until Monday morning. Apparently the mechanic tightened the oil filter to tight and crushed the oil filter rubber gasket. I was giving a attitude by one of the mechanics for taking pictures of my vehicle while being fixed.. No manager on site Monday morning and haven’t been contacted to discuss the issue. Manager called back. Was very polite. They are gonna reimburse the charge of the oil change and Pressure clean my Driveway. Thank you..! Much appreciated

A few years ago I had a very bad experience with an oil change and I was always worried if it would happen again. I stopped by the Doral Auto Care and the service was so amazing that this is the only place that I trust to do anything on my car. They are always very helpful and just change on your car what it needs to be changed. Today I had a very short time to do the service. I walked in and immediately asked If It would be possible to change the oil in 30 mins because I had a meeting soon. The person who was attending me guaranteed that it would be done in less than 30 mins. 25 mins later he walked in with my keys and the car was ready. The price was also amazing. Highly recommend this business.
