Thought I might need a battery. Made an appointment. Drove to the store. Let the guy know I was out back. Guy came out. Guy opened the battery compartment and removed battery. Guy said I needed to replace the 1 year old battery ??? Of course the replacement was more expensive. I stated, it should be covered by warranty. He brought the new, more expensive battery and installed it. Brought me the bill…. $20 off,…. That’s it on a nearly $300 battery. I asked if he actually hooked it up to a battery tester? Never really answered…. My issue persisted even with a new battery. I don’t think the original battery was bad ?! Feel like I was ripped off. Installed battery cover wrong.
I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with this location. I called very last minute, desperate to find a battery after going 3 different places without luck. I was going to be 6 minutes late after close and called begging someone to stay if possible. Greg offered to stay after close just to take a look. Not only did he stay late but he was so kind and had the best attitude. He explained everything clearly and quickly tested my battery and got me the replacement. Even though my battery won’t be under warranty next time I need one; this is where I will be coming back for sure. 10/10 experience.

We had a problem with the battery in a customers boat and needed to have it changed.
As we are on the east coast, it was not something we could take care of easily. We reached out to Interstate battery to see if they could assist there in Sarasota
They organized to go to the boat and change the battery and did a fantastic job taking care of our customer!
They did this on short notice and have made our customers weekend as he’s back on the water boating

Scott Richard, the store manager took care of me and replaced two batteries under partial warranty. He was very professional efficient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him to anyone needing battery service or replacement.
I've been going to this store since it first opened. I especially like their AA, AAA, and 9v "Workaholic" (Interstate Brand) batteries for my camera gear. They outperform Duracell ProCell in my gear.

He was patient, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He didn't once try to sell or upsell me a product. He simply educated me and let me make decisions based on the knowledge he shared.

If u want a honest battery place come here. I brought in a alarm battery not purchased from them,they tested it and said was ok so they charged it up to good as new. There also good at changing watch battery's as well,vary careful not to ruin or scratch them.
Got to this facility and explained my situation. Scott, the manager, got his cart, a replacement battery and went to work. He took out the old battery, load-tested it and it tested bad.
Had a new battery installed and on my way in about a half hour. Pricing was fair, but they do charge $20 for a normal installation. But that was the best $20 lesson I every paid for. Now,
I know how to get to the battery, if needed. There was alot to remove to get to it. The Interstate brand was that recommended by my ASE certified mechanic, son-in-law The OEM Honda
replacement would have been almost $400. I saved $75 bucks. I price-checked the identical battety elsewhere and they were spot on. So, a great place to get a replacement auto battery and they have all types of other batteries too. Thank You, Scott!
Scott was extremely helpful post hurricane. I have no power, internet and no phone service. I have 1 battery operated fan that he charging for me and he helped find a faster way to charge my new cell phone. While I still do not have cell service, my phone is amped up and I can finally use internet on the phone to connect with my family and friends. Thank you Scott and the 2 men there who I watched helping others arriving tired like me also and were given exceptional services from start to finish!!
These people are the best. I don't have power back and needed my cpap power station recharged. Didn't even hesitate to plug in for me and will call when charged. I buy batteries here as needed and they expertly replace. I highly recommend this location. They even had D batteries in stock which i bought.

I've got years of dealing with them. Absolutely honest and always helpful, including voluntarily admitting once, long ago, that they'd made a mistake and fully absorbing the cost of it. More recently, in a casual conversation about car problems I was having, manager Scott guessed what was causing my window switches to malfunction and suggested I try a free, harmless, fix for it. I was then able to cancel a scheduled mechanic's visit with a likely repair bill of close to a thousand dollars. I hope that Scott's wife and boss both give him trophies, and acknowledge that the guy's a saint!
Best battery store I’ve ever been to..Chris was so helpful and knowledgeable and made the whole new battery process smooth and easy from my first conversation with him on the phone to my last as I paid. I was panicking over my dead battery and they came out and jumped the battery, I drove to store and he was at the door with the new battery to install. Best customer service of any store I’ve ever dealt with….id give them 10 stars if it was possible!!!
This place is amazing. Best tire place in town. Scott is very professional, friendly and he explained all the policies, warranty, etc while he was installing a brand new battery in 5 minutes. I called them about a car battery that I was told had a dead cell and was less than six months old. I had bought another battery. They told me that did not make any sense, and then if I wanted to bring the battery in, they would charge it overnight and see if it was still good. The battery still was good. I took the new battery I had put in and got my $160 back, from where I bought it. They were honest with me and I appreciate that!
Absolutely phenomenal service. Friendly and welcoming and willing to answer every question I had as well as educating me on the do’s and dont’s. Came here for both my deep cycle and cranking battery, but discovered that the charger/maintainer that I was currently using was not sufficient for what I have. The store manager, Scott went above and beyond, and will never buy any battery again from somewhere else. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

I took my car here thinking that I needed a new battery since my car had to be jumped twice in a single day.
The associate Scott asked to test my battery, and checked the cells in it and asked how often I drive. After telling him that I work from home and had barely driven more than 5 minutes to the grocery store a few times in the previous few weeks, he suggested that I wasn’t driving long enough when I was driving (said that my battery probably needed a full 20-30 minutes of driving to recharge itself).
He told me that he would be happy to have me come back in a couple days to test the battery again after I drove some more to ensure that the battery was functioning correctly.
After taking a weekend trip, my car battery is fully functioning just as Scott said it would be. I couldn’t be happier with the service and honesty!
Great service by Chris at this location. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He got me in and out quickly, installed my batteries in my truck even though it was very hot outside! Will definitely get all my battery needs in the future at this location.
Today, after getting a jump start, we were told to not shut the car off because it wouldn’t start again, since the battery was dead. We went to Interstate and got really great advice and service from Scott. After doing some testing, he offered us options (the battery wasn’t dead, but wounded). We chose the one he suggested was best and couldn’t be happier. Great place. Great staff.

Damon called when he was a few minutes out to give me time to meet him in the parking garage. He was so pleasant, personable, and done in about 10 minutes. A gentleman named Scott helped me yesterday. I came in because 1 of my 3 trolling motor batteries was dead. As it turned out all it needed was a charge. While I was there I had Scott look at my truck battery because it had been acting sluggish. It was 8 years old and needed to be replaced. I was so impressed with the professionalism and honesty. Been getting my battery here for decades and the guy won't install a new battery after 6pm, which is fine because I thought I got there late. By the time we finish our conversation and I get back in my car it's 6:03. Customer service is a joke! Going to O reily's.
