Came in with no appointment for a screw in the tire. They pulled it out, plugged it, and filled air for all my tires in about 10 minutes. Great price ($20) and no wait time. Professional service. I’ve been here a few times now, and this is my go-to spot for tire punctures. A couple of years ago, I had my brakes replaced here—no issues since. Recently, they took care of my master cylinder. Dropped the car off and it was ready the same day. I really appreciate that they always check out what’s wrong without ever charging me just for looking. Reliable, honest service every time. Quality matches the price.

I had a brake job replacing all rotors and brake pads 9 months ago due to vibration in the steering wheel when braking. Then the issue started happening again recently. I brought the car back to the shop and Mark (owner’s brother) honored the warranty and covered everything free of charge! They even aired up my tires to the proper pressure for me, without me asking for it! You never know with mechanic shops whether they are going to take advantage of customers or do right by you. They’ve earned my trust and will definitely use them again in the future if needed.

I needed to have a drive belt installed for my Acura which was completed in a timely and professional manner. The cost was much less expensive than what the Acura dealership quoted! Kudos to this business for taking care of us seniors.

Honest mechanics! Brought my car here because thought I needed breaks but after they looked at the car, said it was not needed at this time and fixed another part for free, referred my bf and they did a great job with his car, never met honest mechanics and will keep coming here and refer 100%!

We took out Porshe for a coolant hose replacement. They wanted to charge us $1,300 once we say no. They cut another hose. Do never take your car there!

Really great. Clear communications. Friendly. My new go to in N Miami. My situation: The splash guards of my Prius were coming off. When I called, Mark clearly explained the challenges of getting the right parts and how to best get them if replacement was needed. He recommended they have a look first to see if they could reattach everything without replacement. They could and did for $40. This was so great as I had been fixing it with zip ties forever.

Charged 760$ to replace a MAF sensor that took them only a couple of minutes. They upcharged the part to almost 400$ when it cost them 135$ from advance auto parts. I actually got the exact part they returned! Lied to my face about the part cost and labor! Absolute untrustworthy scumbags. Avoid at all costs

I was in and out after getting my tire fixed. The price was found, and the service was great. I will be coming back if I have any other issues.

I went there for an oil change, and it was pretty quick and friendly experience. The price on the other hand is quite outstanding. I was charged $127 for an oil change. I have had oil changes from local mechanics before but it was always around $60. Too expensive for me this place.

Took it to them after getting a nail in my tire without an appointment. They took care of it within 30min. Good location, close to a few good food options if you have to wait

Reasonable, reliable, honest and professional. So glad we have this Auto shop right here in Miami Shores. Did a complete service for my Hyundai with 68k miles on it. Very happy with it. They filled up my tires many times without charge and pulled nails super quick and cheap. Don’t doubt- just go!

This is a wonderful repair shop! As an ASE tech myself I trust these folks to do my repairs. As a matter of fact my Grandmother was a customer of this fine establishment! Miami Shores Auto Repair has been an important part of our neighborhood for decades. You can trust them with your classic car, or late model car like I do! If you have a classic car or truck don’t even bother asking them to work on it. I can’t speak to wether they do good work or not but I’ve seen a bunch of old cars parked over at their shop so I thought they might be a good place to get things fixed. I called the day before and told them what truck I have and the brake problems I was experiencing, they didn’t sound too enthused, but agreed to take a look .Brought it in and they bent down to take a look in the wheel well for about 2-3 seconds and stated that they don’t want to work on old cars, no mention of how they had agreed to inspect the problem the day before. So there you go.

"Trust" that is a strong word with a lot of meaning behind it. I am one of the top 13% google reviewers in the midwest and will rate a business, service or person fairly. My son is down in Florida at college when his 2009 Toytoa Camry car started to have alarm problems with it going off sporadically. Now granted, this is a Wisconsin car probably not use to Miami humidity, but Chuck the owner of Miami Shores Auto Repair did not bat an eye when I called him, told him the problems and said " have him bring it in here, we will look at it right away". Now that is friendly, neighborly down home customer service. My son, unfortunately, did not bring it in right away as the problem seemed to "go away". When I scheduled a tire rotation and oil change with Miami Shores Auto Repair, without hesitation they checked the car out for the alarm problem and did a quick job on the services requested! Since they could not find the alarm problem or make it happen, they wrote down a recommendation of a great local alarm installer to go see about the problem. This is "service" and got my "trust"! You see, they could of said "this and that is wrong blah, blah, blah "and i would have to take them for their word. 1500 miles away and Miami Shores Auto Repair has earned my trust in this one encounter! I talked for about 10 minutes ( I believe it was Mike?) and we had a good talk about cars and detailing. I asked for a good car wash nearby you could trust and they recommended one without hesitation. I will sending my son there soon with all the bugs he encountered in August, driving down to Florida to attend school....YUCK.

It’s rare to find a “small town” mechanic in miami and this is it. I dropped my truck off in the rain so they drove me home. Got me an estimate within 3 hours and had the truck repaired within 24 hours. What else can you ask for? Fair price, great service, easy transaction. Will go back again and recommend to others. Keep up the good work guys!

100% recommend!! Hands down one of the best mechanics. You're safe in their hands! My parents were traveling for medical services in Miami when their brakes started locking up as they were on the highway. Obviously a very dangerous and scary experience, especially with all that's going on personally. It was a huge relief when I advised them of Miami Shores auto by their doctor. They quickly checked in and were taken care of by Brian. They met with the owner and, having to wait for a part that was needed, the owners son kindly drove my parents to a nearby Dunkin Donuts and picked them up when their car was ready! I absolutely love this place. The location, the History, but of course, most importantly, the service, friendliness, good pricing, quick and easy help. I've always been treated well here for almost 10 years now! Even if it was just the name of a good transmission guy, they always do all possible to help their clients. A wonderful resource to have in Miami Shores. Parking is ample, they can get parts in 24 hours or less if needed, WiFi and phone charger if you need to wait, they take all major credit cards.

So I did some mechanic shopping around and went elsewhere a couple of years ago thinking this place was going to be too expensive because it was in Miami Shores. One day I decided to pop in just to see since it was so close to me. Well, I've never again gone anywhere else. These guys know cars. They are everything the other positive reviews say they are. Mark, CJ and Carlos are regular guys that are honest as honest can be in my opinion. Hard to find honesty in the auto mechanic world but you will find that here. I would drive from far away to bring my cars here because trust me. They're worth it.
