I spoke with the business owner John and we agreed to meet up to junk my car. He offered to give me $500 which was $100 more than the other companies were offering so i decided to take him up on it. The first day we agreed and confirmed to meet up at 9pm and he didn't show up. I kept calling him and he did not answer.
The next day i called him again and he said the phone lines went down last night and he wasn't able to get one of his guys to pick up my car and he assured me that he would send someone tonight so I agreed to meet for a second time. He stood me up again. I called him and no response.
I decided to pass by the business to speak with him in person only to find a closed UPS STORE. (as seen on the picture below)
Why would he lie and not show up two days in a row? Well my car was towed and he knew every night the car sleeps at the towing place it's another $20 out of my pocket. My thoughts? They may have a deal with the towing company.
I am only writing this review to warn others to beware of these scammers. Proceed at your own risk.
Stay Away!!!! This is a scam. I called and they told me $400 for my car, I was very specific with the car's condition. They told me they would pick it up the next morning, first thing. Well the next day at 5pm, a tow truck shows up, driver looks my car over, jump starts it, and then began revving the engine from both the gas pedal and the engine block. After continuously revving the engine for a few minutes, the car begins to rev on it's own in a cycle. The driver then tells the owner, who called me and said $250. Not only did they bait and switch, show up late, leave me in a bind for the moving truck coming tomorrow, he also damaged my my car. I will be filing a claim in small claims court. I STRONGLY advise you to find another business, unless you want to be scammed.
