I purchased an alternator on 11/27/24 for $128.00. On the day of purchasing, I asked the guy who assisted me what is the return policy and was told I had a week to refund the item. That same week, Friday 11/29/24, I returned as the piece did not fit my car. I was attended by Aileen ("Manager") . She advised I cannot get a refund, even though I was told the opposite on the day of purchasing. She advised the office only gives store credit, which I accepted because I need some items for my other car. On 12/05/24, My husband went back to the office to use the store credit I was promised. but Aileen advised the store credit is only for Engine and Transmissions. I was never told the store credit was only for Engine and Transmission parts. Aileen's response to this was "it is self explanatory." The store credit being solely for Engines and transmissions, is not self explanatory, as I do not work for this office, nor would assume a "Used Parts" office would only be for engines and transmissions. Aileen was very rude and unprofessional, and that did not sit well with me. I do not recommend going here. They say one thing one day and another thing another day. Do not go here if you do not want to get scammed. They help you & show face just to take your money. And if you do plan on still going here, make sure you get everything in writing, because they lie.

I saw front and rear headlights plus mirrors for the Dodge ram. He asks me 200 dollars for everything plus 52 for shipping it to Italy. I like. I pay immediately with PayPal. Shortly after the payment he tells me that PayPal will credit his account with the money after 21 days and that his customer, the one selling the items, doesn't want to wait 21 days. Then he sends me the money back to my paypal asking me to pay again with the “send money to friends and family” option I tell him no because in this way the shipment will not be guaranteed in case of damage or loss. We agree that we will still ship while waiting for the money to actually be in my account. I tell him that I will continue to pay as a purchase of “goods and services” which is the only way to guarantee shipping. At this point he tells me that I have to contact the agency because more money is needed to insure the shipment. The agency asks me for another 110 dollars telling me that when the package arrives it will be returned to me. I don't care, the package is already insured through the PayPal transaction. I don't want to pay the $110 so I ask him if he can ship to a relative of mine in Mariland. We agree on $56 with shipping by train arriving in 18 hours. I pay with PayPal. After the payment he tells me that to collect my relative he has to go to the train station. Impossible, I don't know how far away the train is. It tells me that for home delivery shipping it requires an additional $54. Absurd! These things need to be settled before not after the buyer has paid. At that point he cancels the $56 PayPal transaction and asks for a refund because the seller keeps asking for money. I'm really interested in the items, so we agree on a total of $319 and shipping to Mariland. I pay and after a day he tells me that his PayPal account is blocked by the refund request. I contact PayPal and they tell me that the account cannot receive the money before 21 days because it is not a verified seller and that the continuous request for money for shipping does not make it a reliable seller. I also canceled the $319 transaction. This is my experience, make your own conclusions.

This is the worse place to do business with. If you are able to go there personally, see things by yourself then may be ok, but remotely is the very poor choice. I call wanted an Engine of 4 cylinder car, was told they have one, asked them the vin number of the donor vehicle, I was told they do not provide vin numbers, and they do not ship. I provided my vin number , ask them to double sure that the engine will fit in my car. They assured me that is the right engine from a different vehicle, but it will fit on my vehicle. So bought the engine arranged the shipping from Florida to South Dakota. When I got the engine I was astonished to find out the engine is from Six cylinder car, completely different than mine. I called and spoken to the same lady who sold me the engine, and I was surprised being told "Ok you can send it back and we will refund your money". The ladies who work there hardly know what is the different between an engine vs transmission. I had wasted so much of my time to explain, and they demanded me to ship the engine back with my own expenses and they will refund the amount I bough the engine for. I insisted that they made this terrible mistake and they should be liable to return the engine. They completely disagree. The cost of the shipping was $350.00 I had to contact our state attorney to intervene, and the attorney contacted them to clarify the situation. They finally agree to ship the engine back to them at their own expenses. I wasted almost one and half months with them asking to correct this. They do not seem to be familiar with cars and have zero experience about the parts. Not a worth time to deal with. You need to go there by yourself to see what you are buying, otherwise take your business elsewhere.
