Over Charged Me AND Lied About Everything
I went to pick up my car today and they told me $700. That was NOT what was discussed the previous day. I get there and they only take cash, which no one told me in the email they sent me at 6am. So I had to leave and go get cash. Not to mention ... They tell you that you have to set an appointment to get your car and if one is not avail able then you have to wait the next day which is an ADDTIONAL storage fee. I get there and the man just asked for the cash, didn't ask if I had an appointment or anything.
I go to get the cash and I ask for the "key" that they made for my car because they were charging me a $450 key fee. There's NO key. If im paying $450 for a key I want the key that is made. The guy had to call his "manager" and that's when the lies started. She said there was no key ever cut for my car. When they sent in a request to make the key 1/12. HOW when y'all are closed on sundays?? I didn't receive two days like they said. Mary ( the name in his phone) said they picked my car up on 1/9 ... it wasn't until I told her that I have an Apple Air Tag in my car that she was lying that she agreed "oh that's right it was the 10th". I have everything, it tells me when my car left the premises and it was definitely on the 10th. She told me she was charging me $75 x 8 for the storage fee. HOW??? When it hasn't been a week yet. It's been SIX days, not including 1/15 when I originally tried to get my car and they told me NO. So she said "i'll take off $75 because you did try to get your car yesterday". Well technically you owed me $150 because you only had my car for 6 days not including the 6th day was the day I tried to pick it up. THEN I told her the personal property fee was going to be put on my loan, she had me pay it anyway and she had the form already. She also charged me $100 for that fee and it was supposed to be $80. Nothing was stolen out of my car because I don't keep anything in it thank god! But if you go here please record everything. I recorded our entire conversation because you pay cash and they don't give any receipts. I let my lending people know and we are handling it from there.
South Florida Auto Recovery tow service. My encounter with their service was nothing short of disappointing and concerning.
Firstly, the lack of respect displayed by their staff was utterly unacceptable. Not only did they fail to handle the situation with professionalism, but their demeanor was outright disrespectful. The way they conducted themselves reflected a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and basic courtesy.
Moreover, the safety hazard they posed was alarming. As if their disrespectful behavior wasn't enough, their reckless actions nearly resulted in damage to my vehicle. It is completely unacceptable for a towing service to operate in such a careless manner, especially when they're entrusted with handling vehicles in precarious situations.
What makes matters worse is that my car wasn't even the one being towed by them. The fact that they almost hit my vehicle while presumably towing another speaks volumes about their incompetence and lack of attention to detail.
Overall, my experience with South Florida Auto Recovery tow service was nothing short of a nightmare. Their disrespectful behavior and reckless actions not only left a sour taste in my mouth but also highlighted serious concerns regarding their competency and professionalism. I would strongly advise against using their services to avoid unnecessary stress and potential damage to your vehicle.
The worst company ever they deff look through everything like if they are stealing your car, my property was stolen and they have no type of accountability about it. I could not believe the way my car was left after the company towed it…if I could give them 0 stars I would I don’t know how my lending company can work with this company I’m in shock and disbelief… I’m also not a person to ever give bad or good reviews but if this is the company that’s picking up your car deff expect your property to be missing..the only reason they are still in business it because they steal things
The owner and the lady at this company are very nasty and unprofessional and don’t know how to speak to people. This speaks to why people don’t do personal business with them and they have contracts with banks. The owner was very degrading and demeaning calling me out of my name trying to belittle me.
Worst company in the southern hemispehere, the fat guy that towed the car spoke to me in the most disrespectful manner, and proceeded to get up into my face and intimidate me, and once I went to retrieve my car; there was not a single employee there to help me, and as soon as I see the car there is front bumper damage, and damage to the hood that won’t even close anymore when the car was fine before they towed it, AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF; They took money from my wallet after not letting me grab it before they towed it . Worst company ever, do not waste your time this company needs to be bankrupted and out of business. Look at all the reviews and try to find a single positive comment, you wont!
Went to retrieve items from my vehicle and they’ve stole so many things. And PERSONAL things. They looked through all of my belongings and touched all of my things. Total invasion of my privacy. Then they claim to look at pictures as if that’s supposed to be valid evidence considering the person stealing was the person taking pictures like hello.. then tell you they don’t know and you have to file a report. Which honestly I’m still considering suing them, I’ll have to reach my lawyer. Would not recommend them for partnerships or to handle your property.
This towing company damaged my car. They are soooo horrible. If you want to keep your car in good shape. Please do not ask them . I agree with the other post. They don’t deserve the 1 star.
Horrible towing company. Towed my car and damaged my vehicle and do not want to compensate for said damages. Instead of having me speak to a manager they keep giving me the run around and telling me people are going to call me back and NO ONE has called or returned my calls. I just called the office and they kept me on hold for 30 minutes and STILL refuse to give me any update or insight on how they’re going to compensate me for the damages THEY caused.
Don’t know how companies deal with this tow yard. when they clear your car out they keep what they want for it seems missing a lot of items, shame on your guys.
Worst customer service I've ever dealt with, very unprofessional young lady on the phone. Leave you on hold for over 20 mins, gives the excuse that they had a meeting in the middle of the afternoon and that the lot where one can pick up their vehicle closes at 3 pm! who gets out of work in Miami before 3pm? she refused to tell me over the phone how much I needed to pay to get my car back. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
This company doesn't deserve the 1 star. They are rude and all their employees too. When the vehicle was pick up (by them), I quickly paid my fee before the car reached to the yard and they still wanted me to wait until the next business day to pick up my vehicle. They toss me around circle to provide me information of the location. I had 3 hours before they were close and they still wouldn't let me. They stole things out of my vehicle and damage my rear end bumper and they went through my stuff. They use the excuse to so say, "that it's policy." I wouldn't recommend you to do business with them. The DBPR needs to monitor this company.
