This company repeatedly breaks the law and has been caught time and time again doing exactly that. If you are a victim of their illegal actions, I would recommend pursuing a claim against them. Otherwise, why would they stop?
Terrible way to work. After working diligently to provide all the paperwork they tell me they only accept cash and money order. After telling them that’s against the law they finally say oh wait we take Zelle too. Unfortunately this is what happens when people who are not from here think they can do whatever they want. Terrible experience and I deal with towing companies all the time. If one deserves to get towed one should pay but at least give me options to do so.
Ive gotten towed from the supermarkets lot, and after I contacted police and asked help from the store they released my car, mainly the police was helping the most in this situation since the store manager did not wanted to talk to them.
“Service with kindness” is not exactly the word I would use to describe this place. DO NOT GET TOWED HERE! the workers are rude and disrespectful to everyone who requests assistance. They also told me all I needed was license and registration to get my car back but they lied. They told me now I need a NOTARIZED letter to get my car back. What bull. The workers need to take a crash course on having empathy. Getting your car towed is stressful enough as it is. Throw in some rude disrespectful workers with attitudes bigger than the tow fees they charge and it’s a recipe for disaster. Terrible customer service.
It was a nightmare getting our rental car back from Tremont Towing Inc. We tried twice to get the car back. We needed a towing form so we could get the car back, which we didn't have, but which we were supposed to get from Dollars, but it was impossible to call or reach them. We tried many times, so they ended up picking up the rental car themselves without contacting us. It was our hotel front desk staff who told us that Dollars had taken our rental car back.
I parked illegally and they towed my horse and buggy. They were nice and professional. They even fed my horse carrots and apples! Don't the negative reviews fool you, if you screw up and don't know how to and don't pay your parking toll, that's your problem! $420.69 later, I'm back with the horse and buggy
Scummy operation. Parked for 20 minutes and got towed immediately. $400 cash-only fee — no warning, no ticket, no card accepted. Even if I was in the wrong, the way this company operates is predatory and shady; they should be investigated.
This is the most unprofessional towing company I have ever seen. The staff treat people like they have no sense or class. The young lady at the front has no sense of how to treat people as she ignores them when she doesn’t feel like answering a question like a child! I don’t recommend this place to anybody unless you enjoy making your life harder.
This place is beyond unprofessional. I’m a minor and the lady at the front desk refused to even speak to my dad over the phone. All because of “company policy.” No empathy, no flexibility, no basic decency. Just attitude and power-tripping. She clearly didn’t care about helping or explaining anything, just wanted to be difficult. If this is how Tremont Towing treats people, they should be ashamed. Total lack of customer service and basic human respect.

They tow, and constantly damage vehicles with no remorse or apology. They actually admit to doing it all the time and encourage you to go to small claims court. So if you’ve been towed go to small claims court please. They really insist.
This company is a money sucker thief! They charged me $380. It was only 5 minutes between I left my car and I got back from food pickup. They towed it from a bank parking lot at night. That was not a business hour and was a weekend. The bank didn’t complain. It was less than 20 minutes by the time they towed my car and I got to their office. Even then they charged me$380 and ruined my vacation. They keep cameras and look everywhere like a hawk and silently make millions of money by doing this. Their business should be illegal. Everyone should file complaints against them!
To be the light in a bad way to start my day, this towing company was quick and efficient with getting my car fast so I wasn’t too late for work.
Left still in a bad mood, but it was the police department that hired them to tow my truck (I forgot to get a pass from my friend who lives in Miami Beach), so wanted to come back on here to thank the staff for being efficient.
My other experiences with other tow companies have been awful so I felt I needed to come on here and say this was the best experience yet (my third time ever getting towed)
Warning About Tremont Towing in Miami Beach – Scam
I’m writing this to warn others about Tremont Towing in Miami Beach and to urge the Better Business Bureau to investigate what appears to be a predatory scam.
On April 11th, our car was towed from a CVS parking spot. The issue isn’t that we were towed—it’s the outrageous, inflated price and shady behavior from this company. Tremont Towing charged us $400 even though they hadn’t even brought the car to their lot. They were still just down the street!
This company clearly does not operate with fixed rates. Instead, they seem to charge whatever they think you can afford, which is completely unethical. That’s the scam. One reviewer said they were charged $700 for a similar situation. How does the same offense get wildly different fees?
Towing companies should have set, transparent rates depending on the situation—not arbitrary amounts based on who you are or what you might earn.
Tremont Towing is a predatory business, and people need to be warned. I strongly urge the Better Business Bureau to step in and investigate this company’s pricing practices and enforce consistent, fair rates.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is a complete joke. I’ve spent days — literally days — trying to get in touch with someone, and all I’ve gotten is ignored calls, unanswered voicemails, and total silence. It’s like they exist just to inconvenience people.
When your vehicle is towed, it’s already stressful enough. But this company manages to take that stress and multiply it by ten. They’re impossible to reach, their customer service is nonexistent, and the lack of professionalism is staggering. I wouldn’t trust them to tow a wagon, let alone a car.
If you’re looking for someone to make your bad day worse, this is the company for you. Otherwise, steer clear at all costs.
The people who work there are the WORST. They don’t care if you are a tourist. If they towed your car they don’t even bother to try to help you and they demand more than 400$ to release the car. This establishment it’s a scam! I hope all the bad that they do to people comes back to them at double!
SCAMMERS! My car rental was recently towed. I’ll take responsibility in whatever mistake that was made on my end. But for them to “try” and charge me $400+ dlrs is insane. The tow truck spot was less than a mile away and I was parked for less than 30 mins. These ppl are desperate vultures. They can have the dam car for all I care before they get over on me! National Car Rental was notified and they can have this battle with those scums. .

Parking spot wasn’t properly marked , they refused to drop it on the spot they just started hooking the car up when we got there , and we offered to pay to have it dropped in the spot but they took it to company 0.8 miles away and charge us 700 dollars , we have prove and gonna be writing to customer protection and the state attorneys office , 700 to have the car 20 min in their possession is insane
Scammers. They charged double the rate because I was from out of town and told me I needed to “do my due diligence and check city websites” to learn about what color codes the sidewalks are before parking. Who does that? Cost me $700 to get my car back and they didn’t offer to drop it since I came as they were picking it up. I was parked in front of a sign that said loading and u loading zone so I assumed the spot was safe to park in since the spots behind me were empty. I guess that was not the case.
The man that was towing the vehicle was so rude it was my mother's birthday. We are on vacation eating at a restaurant and waiting over 30 mins at a restaurant for my mother's meal to come out to a very unprofessional man telling us if we don't pay him 130 dollars he was going to tow it to the yard for 500 dollars!!!! This company is a scam and money hungry and is desperately willing to do anything to screw over tourists.This man said he only excepted cash not any other payment to Me it's due to no evidence and pocketing your money .
Be careful with this towing company. Looks like they are notorious in towing rental cars from non-miami residents. We paid $400+ for towing fine. They don't accept any mode of payment other than cash. Girl in the front/admin was really unfriendly and rude.

They busted my back suspension on my 2011 dodge charger on Sept 6 , my car was towed out in front of my uncle house on 81st and Harding Ave at 4am , I went to get the car around 1pm , and the total was $443+51 dollar ticket , now my car is in the shop and once I pay the total I will have to file a suit for damages , court fee, and trauma …… miamj is not a commonwealth like north it’s privately ran with some deal with Miami Beach police with no one monitoring them because again the police create they own price. So the police, who I pay my taxes every day I go to work , allows private towing company’s to take advantage of people , I have lived in north bay village for 3 year in the picture below you will see evidence and why a lawsuit and the BBB was also contact …. I’m going for everything I can get for the negligence, I missed worked because of my busted suspension and it’s still in the garage. UPDATE: when I went to pick up the car they said “we cannot get the right keys to the gate” it took over an hour to get the car after paying them more than $1,000.
It’s easy to understand why the only good reviews about the place are about the show. These folks are likely to damage your car and are unable to work efficiently. More likely that you’ll be teased than anything.
They will cut your tow fee in half IF you pay in CASH now!!..they drive around looking for victims to hook up to and scam you into thinking they'll tow you when all they want is your cash. He obviously had no intention to tow my car due to the fact that it is an AWD car AND it would need to be dollied which he was too lazy to do to make it look legitimate.
Parked in Miami Beach where it clearly said no parking between Monday- Saturday 6am-6PM and today is Sunday… also smart thieves bc you need to pay cash so you have no way of disputing the charge cause clearly they know they are towing people who should not have been towed. Horrible
This company is trash. You pay for parking & they still take your car. On top of that you call them & they say that it isn't there. I spent almost 3 hrs on the phone trying to find out. They did end up taking the car but it was picked up by the rental company but they had no record of it. I see a lot of ppl are dealing with the same thing. I parked at 1629 parkmobile a lot on Collins. That spot was recommended by the hotel.
