I want to first thank Sergio for taking care of my AC problem with my GMC Denali he diagnosed the problem my compressor was the issue and he fixed & repaired it I totally recommend Sergio he’s very professional and is very straight forward I was very impressed my GMC is a freaking ice box now lol
I gotta say that Sergio is awesome. My Chevy Colorado’s AC system did not feel like doing its job. As we all know,South Florida’s hot weather is extremely hot at this time of year. Well,my Colorado offered me hot air instead of cool air. So imagine me driving around with no AC. Rolling down the windows can do so much.So, I decided to google for an AC mechanic. Google offered Phantom Auto Care. I read the reviews and the reviews said that Sergio is a great mechanic. I wanted to experience this for myself. I contacted Sergio and told him my situation. He told me to bring the truck by and he will look at it He diagnosed the engine and found the issue. One of the parts was not doing its job and not letting the AC system do its job. Sergio ordered the new part to replace the uncooperative part. But what was “supposed to be” an easy job ended up to be a fight for Sergio. The old part was taunting Sergio. The old part refused to depart from the engine.Sergio had to use multiple tools in order to extract the old part. In the end, Sergio won the battle. Once the new part was installed, I experienced something that I had not in about a month and that was cold air. I shed a tear when the cold air hit my face. Was very excited to do business with this mechanic as they have amazing reviews. I reached out initially on Sunday 06/22 and he answered my call right away and gave straight forward pricing. He told me he could work on my car tuesday if i had towed it to his house. I had some issues with my work schedule and ended up not being able to on tuesday. He was understanding and responded that he would be able to on friday or saturday. Saturday i text him asking if i can have it towed, he told me he could do it Sunday because he was busy, i responded telling him that i would be working 3-11pm so i would have to tow it in the morning and he never responded. Well sunday 06/28 came and i texted asking if he had time that day and he never responded. Its now wednesday 07/02 and still never responded to me. I wish he would have said from the jump that realistically he wouldnt have the time to do it for at least a few weeks. Ive been carless for over a week now all because I wanted to do business with him rather than another random mechanic. Just found another mechanic that will do it tomorrow morning for around the same pricing.
I was really hoping to get the same customer service as everyone else but Phantom disappointed me.
The first day I called him, he said he had a busy morning, so he asked that I call in the afternoon. I called in the afternoon and he said he got caught up, but he would help me the next day.
The second day, I called him, and he said that he got caught up again. He asked me to text him to remind him. I texted him right away so he had the details.
The next day I texted again and he never responded.
So much for customer service. I’m currently seeing another mechanic who was able to accommodate me the same day.
It's a family owned small business. In another word, they don't have heavy overhead cost compared to bigger companies. The location was in a residential area and don't let that trick you to think they are not professional. Just the opposite was true. The shop although not very big but was super clean, well organized, and considerably spacious. The drive in path was well maintained and beautiful. You will know what I am talking about when you are there. Sergio was such a humble, confident, kind, considerate, and super professional young machanic/owner. Most importantly, he was a down to earth plain honest gentleman. We all worry about if we would be taken advantage of or be overcharged when we get our car repaired for some good reasons. You will never have that negative feeling with Sergio at all and instead you would have all the confidence that he will not overcharge you and take good care of your car as soon as you meet him. I found their shop by pure accident and with some good luck. I wish I found them sooner and saved me some fortune. They are good at engine repair, brake repair, AC repair , electric repair, maintenance, oil change, and etc. All brands are welcome there, German cars, Japanese cars, American cars...you name it. The only thing they don't do are body repairs and tires 🛞. Last bu not least, they give free diagnosis and offer competitive price that can't be beat by other shops for the reasons I listed above. Go and find out yourself if your car needs repairs and maintenance. I had very pleasant experience with them and for sure I would go to see them in the future.Beyond expectations. Highly recommended.
Had a Dealer Botch a job with my harmonic balancer in my 2003 corvette and the past Thursday the same issue i made them fix popped out again and broke i got sick of it and called around and found Sergio and this guy is a life saver, dealer quoted me to pay HALF of the repair (i had to pay 1k) and Sergio quoted me 350. I'm in complete shock and i dropped the car on the 15th of march and he finished it the same day after him coming back from a trip and at NIGHT!! WITH VIDEO UPDATES!! Best Mechanic i have ever met, experienced, and dealt with. Will always go back to Sergio to do some work and modifications.
Sergio is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Took care of my issues with my car and helped me order needed parts. Saved me a ton of money that the dealership was going to take advantage of me. Definitely my go to guy moving forward!

Sergio was great! he installed a new horn in my car,,being at his shop was a pleasant experience,he is a very knowledgeable mechanic,and most important an honest one!!..I would definitely bring car to him when needed.

Found Sergio via Google and wish I had met him months ago! Super friendly, fast, and most of all - HONEST! Sergio diagnosed the issue with my car … even provided recommendations on where to find the parts via Amazon and had my car fixed by the next day. Sergio even showed me my old parts and took the time to explain everything. Very responsible and responsive and I would highly recommend his services. If and when I do anything in the future - without a doubt, I’ll be calling up Sergio!
Sergio has been really nice and informative. I had an AC issue and needed the blower motor changed. Other mechanics were taking advantage and overcharging (assuming because I am female). Sergio was to the point about the price and always responded to me quickly. I appreciate that and will definitely go to him again for future care issues. He also checked a gas smell I asked about and didn't charge me for that. I feel he is honest and saved me a lot of money. I recommend him. 👍👍

Super chill guy, put a race exhaust on my car in very little time and more affordable than your typical mechanic shop. Already recommended a family member to go get an exhaust installed at this place.

Sergio was extremely helpful and honest. My tire was not taking air but did not have a nail or slash. He was able to get it inflated using his tools and assessed the that my rim was dented which caused a leakage. He even made some calls for me to see about the best pricing for rims and let me know the prices I should be looking for. Very helpful mechanic with honest prices and a great deal of car knowledge.
