They don't properly lift their vehicles. Was trying to pull a part off a truck, almost all the trucks were completely flat to the ground. They don't allow you to use a jack either so it's impossible to just pull the part you want
Been coming to this yard for over 10 years and the people that work here are great and amazing. But the owner made a memory for life as it's veterans Day and the man let me take all the parts for free for being a veteran honestly great experience and memory thank you very much. To all you veterans thank you and come look here for parts
Smaller junk yard but have Alot of things there pretty huge selection of commercial lawn mowers ,cars and trucks too
Also will buy all your metal cleaned or mixed metals I always feel like I make a fair amount for my scrap I take there

When u like to buy something they make a excuse to not sell it to u because they want to keep it or sell it for alot more then it's worth.
Rude people. And I'm surprised there still open the inventory is a joke all the vehicles are garbage here. Not worth it to go here anymore.

I had a older car that died, I was going to have to make arrangements to get to the scrapyard and they offered to pick it up, assess it fir what they would give me for it, pay me and drive it away free of charge. Great customer service!!
If you want to get to rid of light iron quickly it's the place to go they don't buy number one steel or non-ferrous it's all straight pay on anything you bring in so if you have number one steel or non-ferrous materials I wouldn't bring them there cuz you get paid the same for everything but light iron decent price quick service it hasn't changed
Called to see if a part was available. Man on the phone acted like my ford eco sport was a non existent vehicle. Told me very rudely that I needed to know the size of the rim and before I could even tell him the size of the rim he hung the phone up on me. Wouldn't waste my time or money here.
There are various hidden gems when you need them. I never seen bugs, critters or snakes. The staff and owner are always courteous, pleasant, and parts reasonably priced. When they do have what you need, you save a lot of money if you know how to pick. They can elevate or move vehicles as need basis. The aisles mostly have rock pathways to prevent walking in mud, etc. Its always nice to have the wagons to haul tools in and parts out. Other yards have no wagons or help to move things around.
Research ahead of time if the part you seek is found within production year models. Example, year 2000 parts could be compatible with 2002. You may still have to look yourself as far as what parts are still left in it. They have more than just cars. I've seen bikes, golf carts, trailers, tractors, shutters, etc. Sometimes it seems if you ask about anything in the non-restricted areas, it could be for sale.
The yard gets hot at peak sun time. Bring good gloves, water, tools, and a moving blanket from harbor freight to lean against or lay down. You can always quote a part price after signing in to get an idea before pulling a part.
I’ve been to the scrap yard many times since living in Stuart. I can honestly say I don’t ever think I’ve had a good experience there. I like to buy scrap steel for little welding projects that I do in my garage. I think the rudest one out of all of them is the owner himself (EVERETT). Unfortunately the guy at the front counter is not allowed to give me steel prices so I have to wait for the owner to come down. I will try to keep this review short because I don’t like to leave reviews nor write storie. This place is a rip off, they wait for you to lug the stuff out of the yard into the front of the office and then inflate the price because they know you will not bring it back after putting the time in. I’ve chose to pay full price for my steel now rather than go there and have them patronize me. I probably wouldn’t mind paying for their inflated prices if they weren’t so rude. If you need to use this yard because you have no other choice try to go there on a Friday they seem to be in a better mood but not much. make sure you ask questions because a lot of the steel in the yard is not for sale, and they won’t tell you until you get it to the front.

Called ahead and told them EXACTLY what kind of scrap I had, from my job site, and the lady on the phone told me 3 cents a pound for steel and 3.5 cents a pound if over 2k pounds. Well I drive 30+ miles to get there, they weigh my truck and trailer and send me back to their yard. Then I get 1 story and another and then after all that they want to give me 1 cent a pound! How convenient after they weighed me out!!! And after driving all that way I took it because of the b.s. but they are liars, cheats and sneaks.
Bad customer service I called a head of time to Inquire about a specific Item to which they notified me that they had in stock. The individual on the phone told me to come by to look. They said they closed at 5pm. I walk in at 4:35 and they said I could not see the item because they were closing. I then asked well why would you tell me to come by? They just gave me a head nod. Very poor service. Not only do they buy Junk. But they seem to operate like it too.
I hate writing reviews. But this place warrants it. 5 times! No less than 5 times I was told to "come back" and the owner would give me a price on a simple atv frame. How much?! He doesn't know. When should i come back? Sometime. Even the guy at the front desk admitted that "yeah, if i were you, I'd be pissed too.'
Pro-tip. if you own a salvage yard...DON"T put stuff out you don't intend to sell! Don't flat out lie to customers. Do I have to bring an attorney next time to fill out contract paperwork? For a $10 part. Whoever runs this place, get some help.
The gentleman at the front desk was rude and refuse to sell me a used old bike stating he promised it to somebody when in actuality I dug it from underneath probably for bikes on top of it. He is a very nasty man and I will never return to this place I wish I had gotten his name. After explaining my circumstances of trying to help a family member out who is having a rough time he clearly did not care and when I asked him if he knew what paying it forward meant he had no clue. A terrible experience at this place all because of a nasty rude employee.
Jr. And Bill are some of the best guys I have met in my lifetime. They are fare guys and will help you as much as they can. So if you're looking for somewhere to buy your part it's a good place to started.
Great service! We forgot our tools and the guys were nice enough to let us borrow theirs. Then, the part we wanted wouldn't come off, so they assisted us in that too. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Extremely helpful and polite!! :) thanks again guys
The guy is a liar, told me one price, I went to pull it out went to pay he told me a whole different price. I told him that's all I had that's why I asked before I went in. He took my money, put the money in his pocket and told me to never go back because he remembers faces, okay..... never again, will I go to this place. These reviews are no where near accurate....friendly and nice...noo
