Low Key Hideaway in
Cedar Key (FL)

This was the second most expensive RV park I have ever stayed at. It was a splurge for sure at $111/day. And look, I enjoyed the stay. But for $111 I got a level spot, utilities, a weak WiFi signal and a nice view. No resort amenities such as a putting green or a hot tub. Not even a free drink at the bar. Again, it's a nice place to stay but based on what you get, it's about twice as expensive as other parks that offer the same amenities.

This place no longer has a hotel/rooms.It has a few RV ,full hook up,sites. The sites are decent with full hook ups and wifi. They are back in sites and can't accommodate trailers larger than 23 feet (I rhink).Sites are right off the road with water views off.the back. There is grass between lots and behind them. There are 2 bathrooms with showers for camping guests The Tiki Bar and rest of the grounds are clean with a pirate theme and funky decor. There are multiple decks and outdoor seating for the bar along with a cozy inside space. Beer (in cans only), a very small wine selection (only Barefoot wines) and mixed drinks are served . There is a large fire pit outside too. And games of.all sorts are available inside and out. There are a couple of decks by the RV sites for camping guests to enjoy too. People were friendly and service was good. Road noise can be loud as I would guess bar noise could be too on a busy night. It was quiet during out stay. There is a clam farm /seafood wholesaler next door that does sell to the public (cash only), so grab some clams and oysters to enjoy. It is a short drive to downtown. This is a quirky and unique place. I'd stay here again and would plan a trip to include a stay here.

On a motorcycle ride to cedar key. Had not been there in several years. This is now on my have to go again soon list. Great bar keeps with a lot of local folks.

THE BEST BAR EXPERIENCE EVER, the environment and music is premium and the bartender LEALA made sure we had lots of fun on a Monday night!!! we were there just to visit and have one drink, and ended up staying there ALL DAY because the energy was so immaculate there!

This place was just pure fun! The tiki bar and outdoor area is perfectly quirky and awesome!|True old florida! Everyone was so nice, helpful, accommodating. |We can't wait to go back!

Phenomenal experience. It was everything I wanted it to be. Watching the sun go down with my wife and a couple tiki drinks was absolutely perfect. The gal bartending was lovely and made great drinks. The setting couldn’t have been better. Thanks to Low Key Hideaway for making our little getaway that much more perfect. We’ll see you again.

Great place to have a drink. The bartenders are super friendly. We sat at the end of the pier.

Loved this little camping spot! Water on both sides, art and and low key happy in between. Lotsa mellow! Could have stayed a week and been happy.

Great little bar with awesome Bloody Mary's. Friendly patrons and bar tender. You can sit at the bar and enjoy the many decorations, walk out to a covered deck with tables and chairs on the water, sit by the fire pit, or enjoy the view from a elevated seating area. Very clean restrooms. Beautiful sunsets in the evening.

I fell in love with this place. The decor on all of the patios, decks and pier were all too fun. Great vibe. Amazing staff and service, too I left my purse hanging on a chair last night when we went to watch Sunset. And there it stayed throughout the night. Edward went above and beyond after finding it this morning. I wish they still had the hotel portion. We may just have to rent an RV to be able to stay here to catch many more Sunsets !!

When your in Cedar Key.. Lowkey Hideaway is the place to relax and have fun.. Spent some time talking to Scott after his surgery.. Glad he’s back on his feet.

This is a pretty amazing 21+ bar. It has parking for RVs, two bars, hosts food trucks, live music and a great location for viewing sunsets. All features make this a unique venue. Also, they have activities like taxis and boat tours during the day.

Quirky but welcoming atmosphere where you can swap stories with fellow travelers over a cold beer, or better, a tasty, eye-catching bloody mary. The Tiki Bar is a "must visit" if you're in or around Cedar Key!

Found this tiki bar on Google maps and turned out to be a great spot! Epic view, laid-back atmosphere, live music, fun decor, and awesome staff! Walked in to a full bar and looked around to find a spot to sit when out of nowhere a patron brings us 2 stools. I later found out it was the owner Scott, what a nice guy. The bartender was so attentive and fast. Everyone was super friendly. We sat with the epic view of the water. This place is a gem ?. Definitely will be returning ?

We stayed in site 3 of their small RV park. Utilities were conveniently placed, and there was a full hookup. The tiki bar is fun, with lots of outside space and a friendly cat! Wish they’d add some nonalcoholic beers for those of us who no longer drink. View from the bar and the RV sites is amazing! No kids allowed, which is nice!

The tiki bar is the best place for sunset!! The food truck is great and so are the cocktails!! This place is lively but we can always find a spot to relax and chat. Also think the tiki taxi is genius!

Wow, the best Bloody Mary I have ever had. And I'm kind of a Bloody Mary snob, prior to this the best I ever had was in New Orleans. Actually, skip the meal and just eat the hors d'oeuvres on top of the Bloody Mary! Also, wonderful ambience right on the gulf. Thank you, Kylie for such wonderful service!

I have never had crab cakes so delicious and well-portioned, in my life! They also make the best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever eaten. This place is a hidden gem for sure! I will never forget my experience here! Wonderful people, wonderful food!

Laela makes THE BEST drinks ever! Hands down best Old Fashioned my husband has EVER had! Shout out to Miss Debbie and the food truck! Best ahi tuna nachos and 10/10 best crab cakes I've ever eaten!

This is the coolest, quirkiest, most fun place to visit and stay! This was our second time here and this time we stayed for an overnight in an adorable, well appointed and comfortable room. The bed was super comfortable and the room was decorated tastefully. The location is right on the water and the decor of the bar and outside patio area is eclectic and fun! Everyone at the Low Key Hideaway is friendly - from employees to musicians to patrons. It is always a great time and to stay here is an added bonus. As I am writing this, the threat of Hurricane Helene is real - and I can only pray for a miracle that this awesome little treasure on Cedar Key comes through it unscathed.

Such a nice place to get away and unwind! Low Key Hideway is right on the main road just before Cedar Key so we passed it at first - but we circled back and saw the fishing pole room designated parking spaces and parked in our spot. I knew we were on to something special when we saw the sign telling us to check in at the Tiki Bar out back. Yes, there it was - absolutely the coolest Tiki Bar I’ve ever seen right on the water.||The room was recently renovated (thanks to last years hurricane) and was very comfortable - king bed suite with kitchen. Staff was very friendly, tiki bar was fun, relaxed, and very very Florida. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great sunset. Fun people. Great drinks. An all around good time! I think I got charged for my glass of tap water even though I had plenty of drinks and paid for the first one. It was $1 and must be a thing in this area. The decor is so fun. Lots of seating. The food truck was so so ? ? ?. Will ? % stop again if ever back in this area.

1st saw this place on the news shortly after Ian and the owner was interviewed and was not only talking of reopening but what he was doing to help others on Cedar Key. We decided to do a RV trip to Cedar Key to check this place out. The place is awesome. Sunset is beautiful Atmosphere Its crazy fun. Met the owner and he was exactly what I expected. Great guy. The bar staff makes stiff drinks and the entertainment was as good as it gets. Food is really tasty There is a painter on site making tiki decor. We bought some of his stuff. He couldn't have been a nicer guy

We stayed in the RV side awesome views. The traffic is tricky backing your camper in but everyone seems to be very patient. Shower is very nice for those that don’t use their camper. We loved the Tiki Bar even though I don’t drink they made an awesome Mocktail!! On the weekends they have live music. I highly recommend this place.

This was our 4th time staying at the Low Key Hideaway and we have always had a great time and enjoyed the ambience and the accommodations. This time we really loved seeing all of the upgrades to the rooms and to the common areas. They have done some first class renovations to the rooms. The outdoor patio area is filled with lots of new seating and fun decor and even though were there on a Tuesday night, there was a fire going in the fire pit and the music was great! Having a food truck that actually serves great food on the property was a great addition. And it goes without saying that the drinks were great and the views were amazing. The owner was on the property, interacting with the guests and making sure that everything was as it should be. Great place, can't wait to go back!
