I purchased a boat engine from this seller Andrew P… and the other guy and was completely misled. The engine was incomplete inside with missing parts ( no cats) even though the "For sale" description said otherwise. As a professional boat mechanic, I can say with confidence this engine should have never been sold in this condition.
I gave them the benefit of the doubt—called and texted multiple times, politely trying to resolve the issue. No response. No accountability. Just silence.
Do NOT trust these people. They’re selling broken parts and then disappearing. Don’t fall for the same scam I did. Stay away.
I brought a 250 hp Yamaha in to be overhauled and immediately had oil consumption issues. I brought it back and they said they fixed the issue, but it continues to burn oil and never has run right. When I talked to the owner he said I should have put a new engine on,instead of overhauling. When I originally talked to him he bragged that he had state of the art equipment, and it would be very close to being new. In talking to others they feel their motors were rushed and cobbled together
Been doing business with Jack and his Shop for years. Great crew, fair prices and work done correctly in a timely manner. Do yourself a favor, and save some time, stop looking for other places and give them a call. 10/10
Needed a major part for my boat to run my charter and these guys stayed open after hours and waited for me. I could not pull out the $ (cash only) from the bank and he let me leave with that parts i needed regardless. cool shop too.
I've had four experiences with this shop over the last 8 years and all have been very successful. I've had 3 lower units rebuilt there and bought one new one from them. The shop also does in depth power head service and it looks like they really know their stuff. One of the lower units was a counter-rotating unit and they had it done in a few days (as soon as they could get the parts). The knowledge these guys have is unmatched in this area as far as I have seen. I have three boats, one over thirty and one over twenty years old. They all need and get a fair amount of TLC as I use them a lot. They also have an inventory of used/rebuilt parts so if you are lucky they might have just what you need.
Highly recommend this marine repair shop. Always has the best and most accurate repair advice. This is my second boat, and I would not go anywhere else for repairs or advise. Price is right repairs even better.
After having my Yamaha 225 2-stroke lock up due to a bad injector, several other marine service shops said the motor was junk and the boat needed to be re-powered. I called and explained the situation to Superior Marine and had the boat delivered to their shop. Within 2 weeks they had the engine rebuilt and I was back in business for a fraction of the cost. 6 months after the rebuild, I had a fuel pump go out while out on Captiva. I called and they helped me diagnosis the issue. Jack had the parts in stock and I had them on Captiva the next day. The boat was fixed in a matter of 10 minutes and has ran great ever since! I highly recommend Superior Marine Salvage! Jack is extremely helpful!
These guys are great and its great to help them out as a small business. I was looking online and on Amazon for best prices on parts for my 1993 Mercury 150 XR6 and the oil plate block-off was going for $15 to $20 online. I was able to get it for $10 from Superior Marine Salvage. Now I plan on purchasing my water pump kit and thermostats from them as well. Very helpful and they have a warehouse full of parts neatly organized, freaking awesome!
I live in the W. Palm Beach area and was having trouble finding a company with a good enough reputation that I trusted to rebuild my 1997 130-hp Yamaha's power head. Then I was referred to Jack at Superior Marine who had recently rebuilt a friend of a friend's motor. It ended-up being well worth the 2 1/2 hour drive each way to get our boat to them and back. They completed the job on schedule, at the SAME price quoted me over the phone and did everything as promised. Now, the motor runs better than ever and we couldn't be happier. Kudos to him and his guys for running a real "needle-in-the-haystack" honest and stand-up (esp. these days) business.

Found these guys thru a message board for boaters. They got 4 of my injectors cleaned same day as drop off. One was broken at the electrical connection, but still worth 20 bucks an injector to find a stuck one as well. Guy that runs it seams very nice. Overall was a good experience
I've been doing business with Jack and his crew for 5 years now. Using them saves my customers $$$ from lower units, powerhead rebuilds, electrical parts and injector cleanings.
His set up for powerhead rebuilds is pretty impressive with their new machine shop.
